This company delivered are tickets on time and when they said they would. The young man who delivered the tickets was very polite and well mannered, would recommend this company's services to every one.
Thanks for the effort put in buy all.
Graham & Linda.
I am not sure why UKBA uses this S**t company. I paid over £600 for biometric permit and in the end have to deal with this problem. I have rebooked the delivery for tomo and see how it goes. I have worked three years in singapore and work permit cost 1/5 of UK price and service was excellent. No wonder UK businesses collapse and american, singapore and hong kong companies with good customer services survive

Ordered a slide from toyrs r us. Said it would be delivered Thursday or earlier. Recieved a text from DX yesterday. Wednesday to say it would be delivered today. Brilliant, let the husband know sorted, as the husband had a day of work.
I got on with my day at work, got home just after 7. No slide. Very very disappointed, mainly because my husband could of took our daughter out and about on his day off. Instead he had to stay in all day. Like many people on here will avoid using DX in the future. I am now waiting on Toys r Us getting back to me. Not a happy bunny at all. Cheers for waisting a day. Also I found the tracking service online not great, it's about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

No way to contact this company other than by calling their premium rate telephone number which has no option to speak to an advisor, website has no email address.
Was sent a letter to say I had a Bank Card delivery due, and that I had to be in with my passport or Driving licence Monday to Friday 9-5 (I and most of the country WORK so this is impossible)
Sent them an email to the email address I found on this review site asking them to confirm that they would pay compensation for my loss of earnings, which surprise surprise I got no response to this.
I have had to contact Barclays Bank to escalate this they have now cancelled this card to prevent this company 'losing' it, and will be sending my card out via a proper service, and hopefully due to the number of complaints they have had will no longer use this joke of a company.
If you ever see DX in delivery options do not use that company, you will not get your goods!
UPDATE: received email response when i used the email address on this site, no mention of compensation, currently awaiting Barclays investigation of this case
A guy knocked on my door, my dad opened up and the delivery man asked for a weird name, my dad said there is no one baring that name.
The guy put a small card with my (our) surname and left.
Next day I was so surprised that I missed the delivery and my dad was annoyed at the man. First of all, why is the delivery man HIDING the name on the package? if you cannot pronounce a name properly, show it to the person who opened the door! Obviously an ID was required, so why should it be a risk to show the name on the package to the person who opened the door? It's not as if the person who opened the door not relating to that name can have ID of the person's name.
I rebooked the delivery online, I waited for 2 weeks with no responses, though I got 2 confirmation mails of delivery dates rearranges but no deliveries were made. (I also got two letters telling me a package is waiting for me). On the 3rd week I had to call them up to rebook the date. The weird thing was an automated message said a delivery was made on the 10th of September while I made the call on the 7th of September! How was that possible? Though I rearranged the date, in which it suggested 10th of September as the earliest delivery date.
I'm just glad I got my important package, I won't be using this service again and don't want to use this service! They need to better and improve their service. I would give 2/5 stars. But they need to work on bettering their service!
Apparently delivered to my address. No such delivery took place. Rang customer services at 6.50 ...hung up on (they close at 7pm). Its only a passport .. I mean what could possibly go wrong if someone got hold of it. This is what happens when you pay drivers minimum wage plus commission per delivery. They just say they have delivered it.
During my first week at my new job I had to take the day of to accept delivery of my new bed because the joke delivery slots you get with this company. Yet I am lay on the floor now wishing my bed had turned up when promised as now I will have to take another day of work for delivery if DX even bother to contact me. I will be claiming expenses for my missed day of work under the sales of goods act because this is unacceptable and I would advise others to do the same.
DX is and absolutely appalling, incompetent and not professional company. My goods (furniture) were delivered to a wrong address, basically lost, afterwards second order was placed and the delivery company never showed up. I’m unable to stay at my new property as I still do not have my bed (which is essential) and I have wasted almost 10 days of my holidays by waiting for a delivery that have never arrived and has been extremely costly for me and have put my life on hold for over 7 days. I’m more than disappointed with the service (or I shall say lack of service) received from DX. I am looking into a legal advice as DX are still legally responsible for my goods. I would Not recommend this company to anyone.
Paid for Saturday delivery and waited in all day but it didn't show up. The online tracking service says they were unable to access my building, however no attempt was made. Will avoid this company in the future and never use the retailer I ordered from again.
I bought my girlfriend an engagement ring from Ernest Jones with a plan to propose this week. Because we live a number of miles apart i opted to have the ring delivered to my home address. This was last Friday the delivery should have been. Waited in before work, then found that there had been an attempted delivery without any attempt at knocking (Would have known because my dog would have started barking).
This was a minor setback and i wasn't concerned, however because i was going to be going to my girlfriends the following week (Bank Holiday week) i decided to change the address, and on the website confirmed the delivery for Wednesday just gone.
We waited, and then had someone else wait - Then at 4:30pm (When the day was pretty much over) i recieved a text from DX to tell me delivery wasn't going to be today after all. My girlfriend was upset as it left all our plans in tatters - We made the annoucement to friends and family a day prior to recieving the engagement ring, so everyone was wanting to see the ring.
The text message said to go back onto website and then i could rebook it for today (Thursday, next day). However when i went on, the only day next available was tomorrow (Friday). I booked it in, but wasn't happy about it so i phoned their customer services.
They give reason that due to Bank Holiday and it having to go to a seperate warehouse, there was a delay. This would be understandable if i didn't give reasonable notice for the delivery.
Regardless they ASSURED me that it would be delivered today and to disregard the date booked in on the website, as their system says booked in for next day. Still upset, but we left it for today. Today comes and my girlfriend has then phoned them, to which they said it's not going to be delivered today.
This story hasn't yet finished, but it's been a farce from beginning to end.
guy come to deliver post by the time we opened door he was in the van and looking at us but couldn't bother to come back. I then rearranged for 9 till 5 I been waiting whole day and another guy came with no ID badge or uniform at 4.50. Don't understand why can't they use number to call us and why is this poor service after paying that much money to ukba
Received a letter 17/8/13 saying they had tried to deliver my passport so i arranged a redelivery to my work place yesterday 21/8/13 but no courier arrived. I work in a restaurant and we are open 8am to 10pm, Dx website claims they tried to deliver and left a calling card. This is obviously a lie, i now have to re-book for tuesday and im flying on thursday. I will be writing to my local MP to ask why the government is using such a useless company for such critical items as passports and visa's.
I was meant to receive my work visa from the Home Office via these jokers. First alleged attempt at delivery failed, so I was offered the option of redelivery during an 8 hour delivery window, or I could "upgrade" for £6.13 to shorten this window to 4 hours. That's bizarre, as Fedex, DHL, Parcelforce do not charge for marginally "upgraded" delivery. I chose the 9am-5pm delivery window and when there was no sign of it by 4:45pm, I called them and was assured it would arrive by 5pm.
Anyway, long story short, the package eventually showed up at 8PM (!) - and that was after I chased them several times over the charged (0844) so-called customer service line. So they missed their already generous 8-hr delivery window by 3 hours!
These guys are the main contractors for the UKBA/Home Office. I suspect if I worked for the UKBA and routinely showed up 3 hours late, I would get the sack pretty quickly. The UKBA should do the same with DX.
I purchased some Reading festival tickets, £500 worth, and I was at home all day when they apparently delivered them. The van pulled up outside and immidiately drove off!!! I called them up and they told me that they had been delivered, which is a complete lie!
See Tickets told me that it was a problem with the service and that they are investigating.
DX told me that they had a picture of the front door as proof that they posted them. Rubbish. If I dont have the tickets by wednesday 20th August, I cant go :( iv spent alot of money on a new tent, train tickets, the lot and I saved up for this event for a long time.
I dont think that this could possibly be resolved before then so thats my summer ruined!
DONT USE DX! Im absolutely gutted.
Considering getting the police involved as I have a few witnesses that theyve stollen post from them before.
Those parcel people are either idiots or crooks, I remonstrated with the delivery guy for 10 minutes on the phone and offered 4 ways for him to deliver. Appears they need to see an ID as well as it need to be a person with the same family name... all new news - They need this because they are a "secure" delivery service....
Now back and have another card in the letter box: Reason we could not leave it: Need a signature with ID ( Funny thing is I had left on-line instruction to deliver at the neighbour...Who was present but surprisingly did not share my surname )
delivery rearrangement website: www.thedx.co.uk/delivery or call 0844 371 0000 PS this is a chargeable number so you pay for the call and their website is hinting at paying for a premium delivery slot.... Great idea get the recipient to pay for having his goods delivered.
The card is filled in badly ( as was the previous one), its incomplete, there is no time and date info and the company details are sketchy, altogether it looks so much like a scam or service designed to fail that I threw the first card in the bin. I guess they are trying to get the recipient to pay for a special delivery,
Avoid using DX or www.thedx.co.uk at all cost, spread the word
I ordered a suit from a reputable company, and was expecting delivery yesterday (Thursday) which would have meant I had the suit for the weekend, fantastic. I waited in all day only to find that DX claimed to have attempted delivery and left a calling card. This is clearly not true, both myself and my partner were home all day, no door bell rang and no calling card left. Tried ringing the telephone number but all you get is an IVR to rearrange delivery for the following day.
I have contacted the company I ordered the suit from and recommended that they check on line for reviews on DX and seriously consider reviewing which company they use for delivering their suits. If the suit does not arrive today I will be cancelling the order seeking a full refund and getting a suit from elsewhere for the weekend.
I have learnt a lesson today, before I place an order on the internet for goods I will check who is the courier is, if it is DX I will not be doing business with that company. I will not allow DX to disappoint me again.
Updated from 1 to 4 stars - DX pulled the stops out of the bag and delivered today, having spoken to customer services they assured me it would be delivered and it was, so I've upgraded to 4 stars,
the carrier was not able to find the place where he should deliver, then he just went away. there is something called telephone, give a ring cannot kill. I can't even believe it just simply happened twice. kept me waiting at home for three days. it cannot be more stupid than this service. bad, it is bad
According to http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.thedx.co.uk , I am merely one of a long line of sincerely unsatisfied customers...
I recieved a chit through my post box today proporting to say that somebody tried to deliver, what i presume to be ones passport. Who tried to deliver it? Because for the last 48 hours my home has been occupied by either my partner or both opf us, and I have been up since 5AM THIS MORNING AND ALSO 7AM THE PREVIOUS MORNING AND NOBODY ATTEMPTED TO KNOCK AT MY DOOR. THIS PASSPORT DEBACLE IS LUDICROUS. I am shocked that your services are being used to abuse those customers who rely on it so heavily.
I expect a reply promptly, with a full solution to the problem, because frankly I refuse to wait until tuesday for a passport I require before then.
yours, sincerely dissatisfied
they claim to have tried to deliver my passport on 23rd July and again yesterday 26th July - also claim to have left a calling card each time - this is completely untrue - no calling card and definitely no courier - the house had 5 people in it on both occasions - I am due to fly out on holiday next Monday and it looks like I wont be as I hold out no hope of receiving my passport on the next rescheduled paid for delivery slot :( Why doesn't the courier phone ?????????

I was waiting my visa for quite long, so I contact the delivery company call DX delivery who delivery visa or passport form home office, but the answer form them is unreasonable, they said they already delivered my visa form home office by 15 July and they just let someone took this item, they said they can't do any thing, I will need to contact home office to investigate it by myself. This company is so irresponsible.
Can you image that you sent something to your friend but your friend didn't receive the delivery then you call the delivery company, then they tell you to call your friend to investigate it. If they don't solve out my problem, I will report it to some media.
And according to home office answer about What should you do if your biometric residence permit is not delivered? Your biometric residence permit will be securely delivered by courier to the address you have provided to us. When it is delivered, you must sign for it and show identification such as your passport or driving licence. If you are not present when the permit is delivered, the courier will leave a calling card containing contact details so you can rearrange delivery. You must contact the courier as soon as possible.
However, they didn't leave any calling card and without my signature, they just allow another people to take my document which sent by home office.Minkai
speechless.... there is no word exist to describe how inflexible this company is on the service they provide ... avoid at all cost please! Couldn't understand why a retailer ( would use them to deliver they goods... ( Asda / direktek in my case - I want my camera flash gun delivered not hassle pls! )
DX secure courier is used by the government to deliver passports and residients' ID cards for foreigners, therefore the end user has no choice, we cannot order a passport from a different source, otherwise this company would go bust in days, because no one would order anything from an online merchant who uses DX couriers.
I wasted two days waiting for a passport delivery, they do not give you a delivery time frame, not even morning or afternoon delivery.
Unfortunately this company cannot be avoided, we have to put up with its appalling service.
Since I left a review last night, I did receive a phone call. I believe the blocked number is from DX, however even though my phone was next to me, they hung up before i could answer. I promise it was less than FIVE SECONDS.
My last hope for this company was the customer service is better even just a little better than the couriers, but now i am pretty sure the compony is really consistent, no matter which department, are all the worst ever!!!
i suppose to receive one important item via DX.
Tracking number : 1016349124
it suppose to reach me today from 8 am - 6 PM , i got a text for this and also saw it online. I took off from my office and waited whole day. Nothing came.
It is 6 pm and nothing came. I called them 5 times , they have answering machine. I called there 84nnnn number - after a long time one lady picked up and she put me on hold suddenly for 15 min , my credit was over in ph as it charge more than £1.23 / min. call got disconnected.
I never seen such poor service in uk. They wasted my whole day.
...in fact... avoid these clowns, avoid anyone who uses these clowns, avoid their friends, their families and avoid any continents on which these clowns operate... To be honest you'd be better off avoiding any planets on which these clowns operate as well and even then you stand a good chance of their utter incompetence affecting the gravity of your own delivery with a different courier.
Words haven't been invented yet that describe how utterly dire this company is...
When you order something from a company... Please... Do yourself and all of us a favour. Pause and think for just a moment before you finally agree to part with your hard earned cash and ask them who they'll be using to deliver your item...
If their answer is "why, my good fellow, we use a company called DX to safely deliver your goods to you" you might respond with: "hmmm... In that case I'll go elsewhere to spend my hard earned cash because I've read the reviews on trust-pilot and I think I'll avoid those clowns that you insist on using to save a few pennies".
Maybe then companies will wise up to the fact that cheapest isn't always the best economy and start using more reputable courier services...
I've lost a lot of time, effort and money because of these clowns this week and there's still no sign of my delivery... Or a van... Or a driver... Although a work colleague did say he saw a funny looking, white faced bloke in big shoes and an orange wig tooting the horn of a little car as he drove off into the distance in the opposite direction to my office...
I ordered a passport on the 25th May 2013 and was told that if I hadn't received it after three weeks to contact the passport office. Three week passed and no passport. I contacted the passport office to be told that the DX had delivered it to my address on the 6th June 2013 but they hadn't. I contacted the DX who said their records showed that it had been delivered and they had a picture of my front door. What use it that? They said they'd investigate and after 48 hours I rung them again to discover that their idea of investigating was to send the delivery manifest to the passport office. Wow! After many phone calls to the passport office it was discovered that the DX had never delivered my passport and they had it had their depot all along. I was made to feel as though I was telling fibs all along when it was actually them! I had the passport delivered my work address and specified it was to be only myself who would sign for it but they decided to hand it overt to someone else and I was just fortunate that that person was trustworthy. If you're ordering a passport, then be cautious of this DX company and don't put the phone down until you find out the information you need to get somewhere.
DX Secure you truly are a shoddy, unprofessional bunch! Now my lovely wife has to spend another whole day in, waiting for you to deliver a package as you can't work out that at a rural property it might be an idea to knock loudly on the door, go round to the back door or alternatively call the mobile no your company requested as a contact! Thereafter your idea of customer service is to simply confirm that the delivery has been rearranged for the next day with no alternative being provided. No wonder the hole in the ozone layer is getting bigger the carbon footprint for this delivery is already staggering!
DX Couriers have really let me and my family down. They failed to deliver my daughter's passport and when I started to try to track it down claimed that they had delivered it and that I had signed for it! I was at work all day on the day in question. Apparently they are supposed to photograph your front door as proof of delivery. However, on this occasion they did not and the description given of my front door is completely wrong. To this day they are claiming they delivered - my word against theirs. They have now sent a manager out as part of their investigation into this and have taken a photo of my front door - what use is this?! I have lost two days work in trying to sort this out - between phone calls and having to pay for the premium service through the passport office. I can't believe this company work for the Passport Office - they are useless and I would strongly advise people to steer well clear.
Absolutely terrible. They only work 9 til 5. So make sure you're either unemployed or have taken 3 days off work (one for the actual delivery date, then the subsequent 2 days just to be sure.) I have no idea how they are still in business.
I have been waiting in sitting in as much silence as possible to make sure i dont miss the parcel but yep. I missed it but I know for sure there was no knocking or no door bell ringing and we paid for next day delivery for a reason for it to come ASAP.

I missed the first delivery as I work full time and was given no indication of a delivery date from company sending my item. Having missed this delivery I followed the instructions on the card and arranged a day I would be home all day as this company will not agree an AM or PM delivery. I received an email confirmation so it all looked good but I had to take a day off work which was inconvenient, as they only deliver Monday to Friday. I waited in all day and the delivery didn't happen. DX had both my mobile and my landline and didn't call - I know I didn't miss this delivery as no card was left so if I had suddenly gone deaf and didn't hear my buzzer, or my buzzer hadn't worked there should have been a card or at least a phone call. Absolutely nothing!!!
I have come across many poor companies over my life but this is possibly the worst organisation that I ever have had the miss fortune to deal with. My partner had important documents sent via DX as they needed to be delivered prior to her departure. The first "attempt" failed and no notice was left. It was 3 days later before a letter came to say that they had tried to deliver. As this was now beyond urgent, we had to make contact with an agent. This was an impossible ordeal although after a number of lengthy phone calls we finally got it rearranged for the following day. As it was not possible to give a small timeframe (only the whole day) we sat in the full day and no attempt was made. I have now just checked online and I have seen that there "Unable to Obtain a Signature - Calling Card Left" this is in fact a lie as no attempt was made and no calling card has been left. We are now in a position that I have no idea how to resolve as no one is available to take the call. They should be shut down. This has now placed us in an impossible position, so unfair and completely disgraceful.
I ordered some tickets for a concert recently. I received an email saying that have been delivered but nothing had been.
When I took the matter up with the company I bought the tickets from, they said DX's policy was to take a photo if nobody was available, and that was proof of delivery.
I am now out of pocket as I had to buy a second lot of tickets or else I'd lose even more money(with it being in London I paid for transport and accommodation which has cost me a lot and I'll lose that money if I didn't go to the concert).
With their system being so faulty, I do believe the driver took the photo as "proof" as kept the tickets.
I would give them 0 stars if I could, looking at other reviews it seems they've scammed other people as well.
I have been waiting for my passport and when I checked their website to Tracking my Item ,I just get this error :''Sorry, this combination of tracking number and postcode do not correspond with our records. Please check and try again.'' I tried both my home and my office postal code and the results was the same, so i was worried because when I asked from Visa center they said they send it .I searched to find reviews about DX .I was really get stress after .I called to the customer service and the man said ,with this tracking number and with this postal code , there is no information available .but exactly a day after in the morning i check again their website and try both my office and my home address and Bang!! i see the message that my parcel will be delivered today! I backed from my office immediately and then around 1:30 pm , a very polite and smiling driver arrived and i get back all my documents safe.So as a conclusion I just have problem with their website ,so you just can see your Item information Exactly on the day that it will be delivered ,so it's not very good.
Thought I was booking a parcelmonkey collection and delivery. Turns out they use DX....
Came to collect my parcel, I had left it outside by my front door behind a planter that is easy to see, with huge PARCELMONKEY writing on it, they didnt see it..... every other courier always manages to find the stuff and I always get stuff left there.
Anyway fair enough, however I need to pay again for the service ... even though I have paid insurance which was never needed and they arent going to have to deliver it, from the reviews on here sounds like its just as well they didnt collect !
Parcelmonkey are mad to ruin their reputation on this company !!!
Had a text saying they recently tried to deliver my item and left a card - absolute rubbish as I was home all day and no there was no calling card in the post. Arranged redelivery for 3 days later (earliest available), waited in all day and they never came. Following day (today) I have received another text saying they recently attempted delivery - again rubbish as I am home and no calling card. They haven't attempted delivery at all! I wonder how long I'll actually have to wait for my item to be delivered!
this courier service is the scum of the earth. I paid OUTRAGEOUS FEES, had to WAIT FOR THREE DAYS for them to pick it up, and then it turns out they kept my stuff FOR THREE DAYS BEFORE DELIVERING!!!! What is the point??? My documents would've gotten there sooner for 60p on 2nd class mail.
WHY DID IT TAKE SIX DAYS for the recipient to get my documents? DO YOU TAKE THE DOCUMENTS ON A MULE??
