Came across this store on the internet and they had the gas fire I wanted cheaper than anyone else, so ordered it. Had a query on the delivery date which was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I was informed 24hrs before the estimated delivery time, and the driver (who was very helpful and pleasant) contacted me 20mins before actual arrival. Really pleased with the service I received and thanks to Adam and the driver (delivery to Bristol), for their help. Would definitely use them again.
I would use them again, but just one thing the website doesn't work when you want to track the parcel, I called instead a vey nice lady was very helpful and the driver arrived on time and was vey polite and helped me unwrap the product.
The fireplace is great I love it, thought it might be too big might its such a focal point everybody says my lounge is now very John Lewis.

We placed our order and were immediately sent an email confirming order and delivery date. It was delivered on time by a very pleasant delivery driver. The fire is great. The stove I ordered weighed 114kg. (250lbs) and made of cast iron.
Only the driver attended and I had to help LIFT it out the truck which had no taillift.
There was a serious risk of injury though we managed. I am 63yrs old and not an ex-weightlifter!! Fortunately we didn't drop it or it would have shattered.
The item I ordered has not yet been delivered. Should have been here on 4 Dec but is not now coming until next week. I had a gas man and carpenter lined up for 5 Dec and they will not be available next week. I now have an additional job of finding tradesmen. Not satisfied at all and won't be until the fire I order has been delivered.
I was very pleased with the response from Gas Superstore, which I found on the internet and which I had not used before. The delivery driver informed me when he was coming and was pleasant. I would definitely consider dealing with Gas Superstore again.
Ordered our fireplace on 24th nov, they delivered the wrong one on 30th. We are still waiting for the fireplace we actually ordered. Have been given no apology for receiving the wrong one, no apology for the state in which it was received and also no new delivery date. I have also made several calls, 1 of which has been returned. If I receive my fireplace before Christmas I think I'll be lucky. I'll be asking for a refund at this rate! Very upset.
Ordered my oven,better value than anywhere else,the item was in stock and when I called to alter the delivery day I was given umpteen choices including a Saturday.Only one slight negative,I was told I would get a call the day before delivery to give me a 3 hour time slot and I didn't receive a call,minor problem
I wanted to buy a particular mixer as a Christmas present, as it was a Which best buy. I looked around for the best price and The Gassuperstore Ltd beat everyone else by a mile! Ordering was easy online and the delivery was very quick, so I am very pleased and will look at them again if I need to buy an electrical item. I was particularly pleased to be able to support an independent shop.
UPDATE 2/12/13: A very friendly chap rang this morning after having seen my feedback. He's promised delivery of the gas fire Tuesday 3rd December. Watch this space.
Order placed 20th November with a delivery date of 28th November. No show, no contact from the Gas Superstore. I rang up the store only to have the phone answered by an unfriendly female voice. I said 'can I give you an order number?'. Response: 'What?', Me: 'Can I give you an order number?'. Response: 'Yes' to which I heard some mumbling in the background, something like: 'Have you arranged delivery of this fire yet?'. Lady comes back on the phone to me and says 'we do not have the fire in stock'. She then asks me to give a contact number so they can ring me back. Not heard a dickybird! Paid £526.99 and not a thing to show for it!

I placed the order on line, booked a slot for delivery and was very pleased with the price for my Valor Home Dream fire. I got a phone call the following day asking if I could take delivery a day earlier which was fine. All delivered as arranged. A very efficient service. I would definitely use Gassuperstore Ltd again and highly recommend them.
Quick service- good comms - said to be delivered between 7 - 7:30 and it was !!
Excellent prices but after ordering I received no confirmation e-mail or invoice and had to ring the company for them to e-mail this to me. Delivery date was different to that selected at time of order and unable to track order using reference number on website.
A very good range of products and competitive pricing - we were also upgraded to the newer version of the product at no extra cost. However, the delivery service was poor - delays and lack of information on delivery times.

I have just bought a Siemens washing machine which went wrong on the third wash three days after delivery. Rang the Gas Superstore who said they could not help or exchange the machine and I would have to go through Siemens. I rang Siemens who arranged for an engineer to come out with a three week wait time. The engineer came out today and found that the sensor valve was smashed and the radiator lose at the bottom of the drum which had not been fixed in properly. They are going to replace the machine and I should receive it in 10 to 14 days.
I feel this amount of time to get such an essential household item repaired ( 4 to 5 weeks ) when it was brand new is very poor service and that The Gas Superstore should have replaced it straight away. Will not be buying from this company again or recommending it to others.
I ordered a food processor online and found the Gassuperstore to be the lowest price available. Never used them before, so plunged into the unknown not sure if saving a few pounds was going to be a big mistake.
Thankfully, all went well. Not only was the item cheaper than anywhere else, it was FREE delivery - and arrived in good time.

I ordered this fire on a Saturday and it was effectively delivered the next day
(working day) on the Monday which was pretty good even in these days of higher standards . The price was excellent the delivery was free , communication was good and there were no problems with the fire as it was installed and working on the Tuesday . I experienced such an outstanding level of service that you will think this review was written by the company but it wasn't .

Recent experience of buying an electric fire (October 2013) not quite as satisfactory....
Very helpful staff in store (Hinckley Road, Leicester). Left me to browse with no pressure to buy. Ended up buying a Dimplex Horton Electric Fire on-line due to reduced price. However, order confirmation e-mail not received and delivery unsuccessful - reason given was that we had not stipulated that delivery must be between 9 am and 5 pm. Searched the internet and found a cheaper price, so telephoned to negotiate a 'price match'. This was agreed and we arranged to collect from the warehouse in Wigston. Fire now installed and very happy with it!!
Availability and matter of fact shopping experience has been good - especially in comparison to others who were intent on upselling maintenance insurance.
However, the packaging on one of the items was near destroyed on arrival. Box didn't look too bad but the item (large hob) had clearly slipped right through the side of the packaging - enough to break the foam inside and to rip through the side of the box. Contents looked undamaged and when fitted is true and square, with all the small bits still intact. So, alls well that ends well and no cause to test their returns policy.
I found the service excellent from start to finish. Excellent knowledge of products provided and a good ,on time delivery service. Price was also the best I could find for the product selected. Would recommend them to anybody.
Easy purchase of Neff single oven by telephone but delivery by their own driver based in Leicester.
He had many deliveries in London area and bad accident on M1 held him up. Delivery slot 1-4pm but arrived around 6.30pm.
Driver very apologetic and appliance delivered and placed where we wanted it.
Competitive price and contact by phone with their shop on when delivery expected was OK but instigated by us.
Supplied on time in fact quicker than I thought possible. Very good staff to deal with they seem to care about the customer. Very good price as well

After having trouble with the website I contacted the company by phone. Within 5 minutes my order was placed, delivery date given and order/invoice/receipt received via e-mail immediately. Let's hope they deliver on time!
Did a trawl through many outlets and on line for Bosch appliances for my new kitchen. Although not local to me when I called to enquire about availability and delivery all my questions were dealt with politely and efficiently. The hob I wanted was just discontinued, but excellent advice given on replacement model. Results all round. I got the double oven and hob required, free delivery on the day and time specified. Additionally, they offer the facility, chargeable, to remove the old appliance. Can recommend the company highly, and they seemed genuinely interested in my business, unlike some stores nowadays.
