Made an order for a pair of pumps that came with a free breo watch. Delivery came fairly quickly, however upon opening and investigating my items, the "free" watch that came with my order doesn't work - no wonder they were being given away!
I received an Email a offering a free Tee Shirt if I ordered a Bear Grylls product from a list. I did this and selected my free Tee shirt, which at this point was in stock. I got confirmation and the tee shirt was no longer in stock but would be delivered at a later date. They charged and dispatched the item I ordered and I received it 28 days ago. I received an Email today telling me this item is no longer available and as a gesture of goodwill I can have a 10% discount of my next order. The Tee shirt was a free offer for an item I wouldn't of ordered at that price without the free Tee shirt. I can't return the original item because I've had it for 4 weeks.
I won't be ordering from TheHut.com and certainly wouldn't recommend them.
Pre-ordered a game which was due for release on the 14th feb 2014, My order still awaiting stock pick when it should be on my doorstep on the day of release that is why i pre-ordered it. gone to a high street shop and bought for cheaper and on the day of release, wont use TheHut.com or Zavvi again (Both same company), tried to contact customer services but there is no phone number for this, contacted the CEO of the hut group and not even a reply from him.
Quality pair of kids trainers at an excellent price. Having said that, £4.99 is expensive for delivery at a time when more and more online retailers offer free delivery. Add to that the fact that the delivery firm (Yodel) only offer 12-hour delivery slots and won't leave the package in a safe place like a garage or a shed and you end up having to hang around at home all day for a delivery. Folk have to work you know - who's going to stay at home all day just to collect a pair of kids trainers?? Please, please change it so that the delivery firm will leave the delivery in a safe place with the buyers approval. And make delivery cheaper.
ETA: And yes I know orders can be collected from Collect+ but my nearest one is over 10 miles away.

I left a review the other day and was asked by TheHut to contact them i even stated that i had problems with this in my review as for some reason my messages do not send they just seem to get wiped, yet a blank message sends fine, this has only been happening since they requested that i email screenshots as proof my order was wrong, i tried to message them back and get the email address to do this and found i could not send anything to them at all hence writing a recorded delivery letter to them that took almost 6 weeks for them to answer. I will never place an order with this company again and i will be making sure all my friends and family know why.
I ordered Love Heart Candles for my wedding favors from them only to have a completely different quantity turn up than what was advertised, I went to the site to double check what i had ordered but the description of the item along with the quantity and some photos had been changed, they also altered my online account order description but they could not change the description on the email i was sent or the screen shot of the cached page i had from the time of my order.
Their account communication is awful and would not work properly, after seeking advice from consumer direct I wrote to The Hut via recorded delivery on 6/12/2013 I finally received a reply via email today 29/1/2014 stating that they were sorry my order was not correct but since it was now out of stock they are not able to complete my order there is nothing they can do about it and offered me a full refund if i wanted to return the goods. My order was placed in November it has taken me almost 3 months to get some sort of answer.
The Hut is not for the customer it is for the profit even when they are at fault they seems to use any tactic possible to get out of resolving issues they basically admitted in the email they were at fault but waited so long to reply that the product is now not available to say i am not happy is an understatement as I now have no wedding flavors and a whole heap of stress from trying to sort this out.
