Looked for a budget satnav and read reviews in Which. DFecided on my model. Compared prices - and no-one did it cheaper than The Hut. I saved £20 on the satnav from The Hut and, with free P&P, a lot more cash. It was ordered and delivered in 2 working days.
It came as a nice surprise when the postie brought the Xl jacket that I had just ordered, to replace the L jacket I originally ordered. I did not want to be an XL person but I now know my size as it is a great fit. Many thanks
The package arrived in one day even though I only opted for free delivery - great. The courier left the package behind flowers where insects etc reside - NOT great, even though the card and text said it was left in a 'safe' place. Outside in the open behind insect riddled flowers is NOT safe. The zips are a bit dodgy on the garments that I reluctantly wore because I was worried creepy crawlies might be in them.
I ordered some items and returned one of them. It took months for them to confirm the reception of the item and I still have not receive any money from them. I returned the item in November and at first, nobody knew about this. Until recently, they said everything is fine and my money has been returned. But nothing happened. I will not order anything else from that company. I rather pay a bit more and know that if something goes wrong, I can count on the service. Other companies have good deals, as well. Chris
I am very happy with the customer care team. It improved greatly since 2012. They quickly respond to inquiries. Sometimes the parcel gets lost in transit, but it's not HUT's fault, I guess... They quickly refund in such cases. Thank you
Products are very competitively priced but avoid if you expect any form of customer service.
I placed an order via the site, selecting a different delivery address to my billing address. My order confirmation came through showing my billing address as the delivery address. I contacted them straight away via my account to ask them to change the address on the order, and i did receive an email back to say they have cancelled the order. The following day I received an order dispatch email and the money was taken from my account.
I have tried to contact them twice via the only email address i can find on the site (firstname.lastname@example.org), two days later still no response, i have also messaged them privately and publicly on facebook, again no response. There is no phone number on the site.
The only way to contact them is via your account, but the responses feel automated and not at all personal.
If anyone reading this has managed to find a way to get in touch with them please can you let me know. Anyone wondering if to place an order with them, do so at your own risk.
I was pleased overall with the jewellery that I ordered. The pieces were slightly smaller than I expected from the photographs but They still look well worth the money. The items were delivered very quickly and well packaged. I bought the items as gifts and I think the recipients will be astounded by my apparent generosity! This is the first time I have ordered from The Hut. I shall be ordering again! Thank you, The Hut.
