Found this site on Google. Ordered samples which were sent by return of post. Helpful discussion on email about fixing the perspex. Order ready within 2 days and sizes exact to the mm. Collected perspex to avoid £40 delivery charge. Helpful at the trade counter and wrapped in bubble wrap to protect, and supplied complete with offcuts.
Recommended.
I occasionally need odd small bits of perspex - theplasticshop always treats me as a valued customer, responding to my last-minute emails with professionalism and care. They check when I have been ambiguous to make sure they get it right, which they do every time. They turn around my order and get it to me promptly. The perspex itself is beautiful, clear, and always EXACTLY as I wanted it.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my critisism, you do seem to be an efficient and friendly company. I found the postage expensive because it cost more than the product I was buying as I only wanted a single 2m length of 5mm thick acrylic rod.
You didn't actually answer my critisism of the packaging which wasnt splinted at the 3 joints where you had taped individual short lengths of cardboard tubing together with tape in order to transport the 2m length, the tape joints therefore stretched and bent. Perhaps it should be something to consider in the future? perhaps my order was an unusual one? My comments are meant to be constructive as in all other regards I have found you to be a fast efficient company and I would order from you again.

I'm not sure if you contacted the office when you received your order to let us know of the damage, but this is the best thing to do in such circumstances. Sarah from the office here has contacted you now to make sure that you are happy with how we've dealt with your complaint.
Also, you've mentioned in your review that you feel our postage charges are exorbitant. Just to clarify that the carriage charge applied to your order was £7.95 +VAT, and I can confirm that the actual cost of the courier to us was £6.25 +VAT. However, this price doesn't include packaging materials, nor labour costs for physically packing the item.
We make every effort to keep our delivery and packing charges as low as possible - and in most cases they are just a contribution towards the true cost of carriage charges and packing material costs.

From the outset I had excellent service. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly and were always very helpful and courteous, and also were with the same person each time, which really helps. The samples I ordered also came very quickly. I am a very satisfied customer.

Having shopped around online they sold the best value acrylic mirror that is cut to requested size. At first P+P seemed expensive, but it was very well packaged to prevent damage. Data sheet provided as requested. Will proberbly use again.

Products meet my requirements, prices are acceptable. Response is rapid and helpful, but two out of the three orders I have placed have arrived with incorrect quantities. The errors were immediately acknowledged and rapidly corrected and caused no real problems - simply left a perception of defective systems.
Notwithstanding this, I am highly likely to place orders in future

I phoned The Plastic Shop for our normal order of polycarbonate, spoke to Gary as usual, had a chat and made our order. A week later the delivery turned up on the day advised. No drama, no hassle, as it should be.
after looking on website and then calling customer service i found them to be very helpfull indeed with my order and emails, well done and i will be ordering again
I rang to source some PCTFE I was told they would get back to me as soon as they had been able to find this material and get a price, they did. The response time was very good and the delivery time was excellent. Thank you.
When I placed my order I received a call to confirm the details. I also received confirmation of despatch and the order arrived in the expected timeframe.

Website is easy to navigate, gives instant prices. When I phoned the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. They took the order and delivery details and those worked. The delivery driver (your own) helped unload and carry the goods to where they were wanted.
Good experience overall.
Firstly, I was unhappy about having to pay full delivery charges to Inverness. Secondly, the delivery by TNT Express did not deliver on the day they promised and had to be chased a number of times. Thirdly the package and contents had been damaged. To be fair, TNT main office did their best to sort things out and Sales at theplasticshop were very helpful and refunded the delivery charges.

Due to your location, the only service available through TNT’s network is a non-guaranteed 3 day transit, and for this we are charged a premium against our regular contracted prices. Although we made a slightly higher than normal carriage charge to you (£29.95), it was still only a contribution to the actual cost of the shipping made by TNT to us (£49.95). We do try very hard to ensure our carriage and packing charges remain as competitive as possible and as fair as possible for all geographical locations.
I share your frustration that your delivery was late, and to compound matters - damaged, and hope that you are happy with our resolution of the problems you experienced.
