Poles are good

One of the best companies we've dealt with

The attention to detail from Michael of the Pole Company was brilliant and once the measurements were checked and correct it took no time at all for the pole for the large bay window to arrived. It could not have had more secure packaging, it also arrived two days early, which was brilliant. Fortunately the curtains arrived with the same carrier, so we were arable to put everything up. No problems with the installation and we couldn't' be happier with the results. We would recommend this company to anyone.

An extremely helpful company who will go out of their way to help

I placed my first order as we were providing poles for my god daughters new house and only ordered for the bedrooms until we saw the quality and checked out the service. we were extremely happy with both and therefore went back to them for the remaining poles for the ground floor. The delivery of these proved problematical as there were so many of them but the company and I solved this problem over 2 phone calls which was very helpful because of time constraints. Overall I would recommend this company to my friends for there prompt and helpful service.

They had a great range to choose from. Once my husband and I decided what we wanted, we made our order online and it arrived the next day. The poles were easy to assemble and put it up too. Great company!

Speedy delivery, good quality items and great Customer Service

We received our white wooden 35mm curtain pole & rings quickiy.
The quality of the item is good as is the value for money.
One of the brackets had chip in it but, the after sales service was very efficient and professional. We received our replacement bracket within a few days.

Our only negative comment would be that the outer postal packaging was quite damaged with the box effectively open at one end. The inner plastic box was also cracked at same end. This indicates rough handling during transit. However, fortunately the inner plastic packaging was well made so at least provided good protection for the contents. So feedback for the couriers rather than the Pole Company's service.

State of the art delivery

Our pole package arrived marked up 'Fragile' in multiple places with white and red tape. However the box had a large gouge out of the side and one end had been completely opened up, I guess in transit. Whoever the polecompany use for delivery is unreliable.

Curtains up for the best show in town !!!!

Thepolescompany had good examples of how to cope with corner windows, and had a good selection of styles, with easy to follow advice on ordering the necessary parts to achieve a 'bespoke' item. I had a minor problem with one of the fittings which was replaced the following day. Can't fault their customer service and would certainly use again in the future.

Excellent delivery but product not ideal

I purchased a bay window curtain pole set and have found the bendable pole to be less than ideal for a square bay with 90' angles. On one half the metal creased and now looks awful. Delivery was very good though.

A most helpful company that delivered an excellent product in double quick time. We ordered black, 32mm wrought-iron poles with black cage finials. The extra brackets arrived in time for installation and the finished product looks stunning. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good product with excellent service.

Fantastic Customer Service. This company is knowledgeable, and delivers on their promises, I would recommend them to anyone.

My big bay window and heavy curtains have been causing me a nightmare in my new house, I bought ready made track billed as for heavy curtains and it just fell off the wall. The I Googled to try and find the answer and everything seemed to cost £700 or more. Then I found Thepolescompany.

I was a bit confused about what to buy, so rang and spoke to Michael who told me what to buy and why and was helpful and friendly and gave me great confidence that I was doing the right thing.

Then I submitted my measurements, which I clearly hadn't made well enough for Thepolescompany's attention to detail as they came back to me concerned about a 3cm discrepancy - so I remeasured and got it to their satisfaction.

They made and delivered (on time and as promised) the track all bent perfectly to shape and so carefully wrapped and attached to a wooden frame so that it wouldn't twist or bend in transit.

It took about half an hour to put up (my joiner came and helped me, not because it's difficult, but it helped having someone who could balance on top of a high ladder and drill straight and get the screws in properly and lift the heavy curtains to hook them up)

Everything Michael said about the track allowing such big curtains to swish beautifully along and round the bends in the bay is true.

Absolutely fantastic

Had to source curtain poles for two large sash window, one being arched and needed a porters as well as a pole. The poles company had just that, super speedy delivery and really really good quality, the finials are solid, puts other curtain pole companies to shame.

An easy to understand website to search around on with good quality products at reasonable prices. I was happy with the fast delivery time, second working day after ordering, and though I was out the driver rang to check and arranged to have it delivered to a friend nearby.

Prompt customer service and great product

I was very happy with the Neo Stainless Steel bay window kit I bought from The Poles Company and would order from them again. Their service was prompt and although not all parts were immeadiately available in stock I was pleasently suprised when they where happy to send things out in two seperate deliveries which meant I didnt have to go a week without bedroom curtains.

Quick delivery and a refund on postage

We recently moved and had lost a bracket for our curtain pole. We have three of these poles and we still needed all three for one room. Not only did they still stock the original curtain pole we brought but they also had separate parts, which enabled us to just order the part we needed rather than fork out the cost for the whole pole.
Postage and item was paid for and The Poles Company came back to us and said as the item was small they would only charge us for a small item postage costs and refunded us what they did not use. Item arrived quickly and was exactly what we needed.
What more can you ask for!

Efficient service and good instructions

I bought a rising portiere rod so that I could fit a thermal lined curtain across my front door. It arrived very quickly which was good because it got really chilly. Despite not being very confident with DIY, we managed to fit it really easily and now the hallway and the whole house is much cosier.

Good quality products, fair prices and a very responsive company.

I wanted a decent quality 'brass' curtain pole to fit around a bay window which is larger than most. Standard packs were not wide enough and 'custom' solutions quite expensive. My email enquiry about best-value options was answered by return giving advice on the least-cost solution. This was ordered, arrived within a couple of days, did the job perfectly and is of excellent quality.
