Enquired about a repair under warranty but was told the watch was not covered for this type of fault. A local Tissot dealer said it was and could repair but warranty card was not an official one. Tried to get further response from The Watch Giant but no contact since the original knock back.
It transpires that The Watch Giant do not issue accredited (Tissot) warranties. In other words if they do not believe the watch is faulty you cannot have it repaired by another dealership.
Truly understanding people with amazing customer service and people that really understand you and go out their way for you. Thank you guys for everything you have done for me and I would recommend anyone to purchase from this website. It is genuine and the watches are 100% perfect. Through the issues I had the people here helped me solve it and went out their way for me completely
I purchased a watch for my partner, only for it to break within 2 months. I sent this back as it had 2 year warranty. After waiting 2 months & heard nothing I called for them to tell me that all the paperwork & the faulty watch had been thrown out. :-( They did not have the same watch in stock & said I would have to wait 4 weeks for a new one. I opted for another watch to be sent, as had waited long enough as it is. I am awaiting delivery of the new watch.
I ordered a watch from Thewatchgiant, it clearly showed the item was in stock, 2 weeks later I had not received it!
I spent a whole day trying to call them and even sent several emails which went unanswered!
I eventually got through ro be told that the system shows a refund was given (no refund was applied to my card, nor was I contacted regarding this) the woman I spoke to told me they could no longer get the watch I ordered even though it showed on the site it was in stock, which should mean they already have this in their possession!
The woman became rude when I was asking questions about how this happened and why I wasnt contacted and also where my refund was and hung up on me!!
I would like to catagorically state that I was not rude, did not swear or shout, simply asked questions!
I am now hundreds of pounds out of pocket, have no gift for my partner as planned and to top it all off they will now not answer my calls and I have NOT had my refund!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO WATCHES IN STOCK AND SIMPLY CON YOU AND KEEP YOUR MONEY!!
I will now be contacting a solicitor to take legal action against them!
I bought a mid-priced watch with them about a year ago. The order was fulfilled after over 3 weeks, but I didn't really complain about it since the price was really good. The product was genuine, as described, carefully packed etc. However, after a few months I got irritated with the clasp that was malfunctioning. The contact was really difficult - had to email them 3 times before I got any reply, then I got asked for order number and after a few weeks and a few more emails from my side I finally got a reply saying that the warranty doesn't cover the clasp. After contacting Tissot directly the clasp was swiftly replaced and everything was handled very professionally. All in all, nothing terribly bad, just a lot of neglect in customer service, but from now on I'll definitely pay the full price in local shop or buy through Amazon instead of this website.
Initially the service was good, and my watches, yes watches were sent out. On my order it was stated they would be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, however they were only sent by 'signed for' and this is where the troubles started. The postman deciding it was not valuable, signed for the delivery himself and apparently placed them randomly down the side of my house. 48 hours later, having not deceived the items, I complained and they stated that as I had signed for them, which I hadn't, as I was at the opposite side of the country at the time, and I could prove that, they had fulfilled their obligation and did not want to know. They told me to complain to the Royal Mail if I didn't like it, I even sent them proof of my signatures and location, but they still didn't want to know. After many complaints and visits to the Royal Mail depot locally the postman admitted that he had signed for the item himself, and told me the location where he had left the package. Obviously by this time the parcel as missing, and as there was an admission, I was informed by the Royal Mail that they would cover the cost of the parcel and that the sender would need to raise a claim. I informed the watch giant of this and they told me they did it the very same day. When I enquirer when I would get my refund, they told me not until the Royal Mail pay up, why? When this is no fault of my own? Some 8 weeks later, numerous emails and telephone calls, oh, and thats another thing, the people who make the decisions only seem to work tues- thurs, and only from around 1-3pm, and a conversation with a very rude man at their offices, I am now going through the court system to reclaim the £482 that was originally spent. It appears getting refunds and repairs etc rectified from this company a nigh on impossible, and I would not deal with again. The fact that it appears they also supply cheap, fake goods, as well as damaged goods, I am glad that my products did not arrive and that I have alternative options to take.
I hope others take note of this review and see the company for what they really are......
I really wanted this Armani watch but it was £300 plus everywhere, apart from Watch Giant. I had serious reservations as it was almost half price, but after speaking to an advisor on the phone and being assured they only sell genuine watches, as well as closely reading everything on their website, I decided to take a punt and order it. Initally I was very pleased as it arrived the next day and when I opened it looked genuine. There were a couple of minor scratches on the strap, and the box was broken, but because of the price I decided to ignore this (if this was a gift for someone this would be unacceptable as the box was totally broken and looked cheap and fake). After wearing the watch the first day I realised that the date does not change (Armani 2434). I ignored this and thought nothing of it, so I changed it and got on with my day. However, the next day the date failed to change again. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that this is either faultly or a fake, and I am very disappointed. I would absolutely send this back, but I know for a fact they will claim that the box was not broken in the first place and deny me a refund. In conclusion, I would avoid this dodgy website and pay a little extra for a more reputable source. I have bought an Armani watch before from the WatchShop and the difference in quality is clear, along with the Certificate of Authenticity (something else the watch from WatchGiant lacked). Pros: Cheap. Arrived the next day. Appears Genuine. Cons: Broken/Fake Box. Scratches on the Strap. Date function does not work.
3 weeks after placing the order and nothing arrived. i emailed Watch Giant and was told that the payment could not be processed. Shouldn't someone tell me that was the case instead of making wait for nothing?? The watch was meant to be a birthday present and now the birthday has past and i still have nothing to give.
I bought a watch in January from this mob, a Tissot for £280. Initially the metal bracelet kept leaving black marks on my wrist but I guessed this was just because it hadn't been cleaned properly.
However, after 2 months the face got all misted over, even although it had never been exposed to water (was supposed to be water resistant to 50m). I returned the watch under warranty after they promised a full refund. They then kept sending conflicting emails and saying on the phone that the refund had been sent via PayPal - nonsense. They backtracked on the refund and said they had repaired the watch and - get this - their warranty "does not cover problems with the crown" and this repair was a "goodwill gesture". So I agreed to take it back. When it arrived the crown simply did not work. Watch was useless.
I complained again and they eventually (it's now 5 months since I bought the watch) agreed to refund me if I returned it once more.
Each time it's cost me £10 for delivery but I went ahead and sent it back again.
Refund of purchase price received but nothing for the postage. Just glad to be shot of them.
I searched for a watch for my son's 18th birthday found the model ( Armani Mens Classic Watch) I thought he would like, way cheaper than anywhere else . It was delivered within 2 days, very well packaged. He absolutely loves it ...apparently "it's sick." ........teen speak for awesome!" I was particularly happy for the speed of delivery and careful packaging, and didn't have to worry about , missing his birthday, or returning it. I was able to present it to him on his birthday, it made the day more special as he had to have surgery on his birthday, so it was nice for him to have something special following that. Thank you. I would definately recommend Thewatchgiant to my friends and family!!
I had ordered the Tissot Lelocle watch a week ago and I received it today within the promised time span ,i.e., 3 to 5 working days. The item was well-packaged and came with the two-year international warranty documents. The watch is beautiful, as described, and so happy with my purchase.
I ordered a Tissot watch. Advertised as in stock. Received an email moments later saying out of stock and 12-15 day delivery. Called a couple of days before this for update as had received no info on my order and was told there was a stock problem and I would need to wait a further week. I said this was fine but to keep me informed as if it was a week later i may need to arrange someone to be at home for my delivery. Got an e-mail next day contradicting what I was told and telling me watch was in there despatch warehouse and would be with me next day. Called next day for tracking no. Guess what not despatched yet, apparently waiting for my go ahead to despatch. So I told them to send it, again no tracking no but arrive home to find my watch. Great! (No). They sent the right watch only with a very cheap rubber strap instead of the leather one advertised. They don't take phone calls after 4pm but claim to respond to e-mails up until 6pm. Anyway I travel on Monday for work and have no info how to return this or any idea if I will get the watch I ordered If I do no doubt ill have to wait at least another 15 days... Don't buy from these people this is my worst online shopping experience ever....
Ordered the watch as a birthday gift. Kept in communication with me all the way. Very friendly on the phone when I had a query. Send they would send out on special delivery so I had it on time. Thank you guys!!!!!
I had never heard of Watch Giant until I was looking for a watch for my son's 16th birthday. I found the watch I'd been looking at on other sites for much cheaper - almost too good to be true - so I used my credit card in case it was!! The watch arrived 2 days later as promised and is just what I was looking for. I highly recommend Watch Giant - superb - they will be my first point of call for future watch shopping
Ordered two ladies Burberry watches costing £660 and received an email the next day informing me that neither watch was in stock and there could be a delay of between 3 - 15 days. They had already taken the payment and as I couldn't wait for delivery, decided to cancel the order. Spent 30 minutes trying to get through and was then informed that I would have to wait until the next day for the refund. I agree that the prices are very competitive but their practise of taking your payment before they know whether they have stock is unacceptable. Staff are pleasant enough but I certainly won't use this company again.
I ordered a watch and it wasn't till after I had paid for it I received an e mail stating the watch wasn't in stock, I was prepared to wait a few weeks until the said watch came back into stock but it never did. Yes I was disappointed but this company kept me up to date with my order and emails were always answered without having to wait for days before I got a reply . I telephoned the Watch Giant and said I would just like a refund, my money was refunded the same day I asked for it and the lady was extremely helpful on the phone . It certainly hasn't put me off buying from this company again, in fact I wish there was more companies like them. They have restored my faith in buying off the internet! The one thing that lets them down is the fact that their web site is showing they have the stock when they haven't I would suggest phoning them before you place an order online just to make sure they have your watch in stock... Thanks Watch Giant your staff are very polite and helpful a rare trait these days .
I ordered my watch at the beginning of November, it arrived two weeks later but wasnt the one I wanted, I had ordered the TW Steel Canteen TW4, what was delivered was the newer version, the TW4R, to the untrained eye it looked the same watch but there were slight differences and I really wanted the TW4, I contacted the Wtahcgiant and they offered me either a full refund or the offer that I return they watch and they would get me the one I wanted and they would pay the postage. I went for the later option, my watch finally arrived in the second week in January, yes it took almost two months but I got the exact watch I wanted and Ryan at the Watchgiant couldnt have been more helpful, he kept in constant communication with me throughout, the reason for the delay was that his suppliers kept sending the TW4R, once my watch arrived he was straight on the phone to let me know it would be on my wrist by 1pm the following day and to pass on his personal apologies for the delay, he also gave me 10% off for the delay which was a lovely gesture.
Thanks again Ryan and the Watchgiant, it was well worth the wait
