A good Company Gone Bad
I have bought hundreds of pounds worth of seeds, plants and bulbs from them over the years. I am a professional gardener and often used them to get hold of specialist plants for my clients. Sadly, like Van Meuwen, who they are affliated with, the staff don't know one plant from another any more. I ordered Eryngium Alpinum plants from them bare-root, and when they produced their first leaves it was obvious they were the easily grown Eryngium Planum - believe me there is a great deal of difference in the two varieties, both in looks and price. After waiting five months for the replacement bare-root plants to arrive, they are obviously exactly the same E. Planum, which is easily obtainable and cheap, and self-seeds. Really disappointed, as I went through the same rigmarole trying to obtain the E. Alpinum with their twin company (Van Meuwen) three times before I just gave up. T&M what have you done. I won't bother ordering from you ever again. The Trades Description Act is never enforced for mail order plants - if you pay for a particular plant that is advertised, how the Dickens can they keep getting away with sending you a cheaper one. If I order steak, I don't want a beefburger!

UNACCEPTABLE DELIVERY
MY LARGE ORDER OF POTATOES WAS LEFT IN MY RECYCLING BOX WITH NO NOTE POSTED THROUGH MY DOOR TO TELL ME. CONSEQUENTLY THEY WERE LEFT OUT FOR TWO NIGHTS WITH THE TEMPERATURE DROPPING BELOW - 5 .
IT WAS FORTUNATE THAT THE RECYCLING COLLECTION HAD BEEN DELAYED BECAUSE OF THE BAD WEATHER OTHERWISE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY WITH THE GARBAGE. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW STUPID THE DRIVER WAS. STOP USING THESE CHEAP DELIVERY COMPANIES AS THEY ARE A FALSE ECONOMY AND YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS. USE ROYAL MAIL.
I AM EXPECTING SOME FROST DAMAGE AND WILL BE SEEKING REPLACEMENTS .

Very disappointing!
I took advantage of a special offer (via link from moneymatters website) from Thompson Morgan.... where the offer was for £100.00 of perennials for £15.00. A great offer one might think, until I received the 'plants'... 4 x 5 plug plants which were dead on arrival!! ...withered brown tops with no growth evident.
I emailed their customer services about the disappointing delivery and also questioned whether they were in breach of Trading Standards .. as 20 plug plants doesn't cost £100.00 even on their own website!
After two weeks I received their response, that it was 'normal' for their plug plants to only have a root ball and no growing top.... and that these plug plants represented £100.00 'goods' (and some seed packets, not ordered by me and not part of the stated deal ...thrown in for good measure ).
Shame on you Thompson Morgan, what a terrible way to deal with your customers!
....................and buyer beware!
I now intend speaking to Trading Standards...

Always done well for me.
Good offers at certain times of the year.
I've bought seeds and seed potatoes from them lots of times. I've had a couple of problems with the wrong variety of potatoes being delivered but it was resolved to my advantage both times. First year, refund and second year replaced.

Formerly excellent supplier loses grip
i've spent hundreds of pounds with them over many years. This year, however, they have lost grip. Usual order for Christmas bulbs for all the family was acknowledged, but not fulfilled. Consequent e-mails, phone calls and letters from 26 December - 7 January were not answered, or not answered satisfactorily: was just told the order was not on their database: even though I have a letter to prove that they received the order.

The best range of seeds
They may not be the cheapest company for seeds, but I have been buying from them for the last 6 years without any problems, and they do have some excellent special offers. Its the the huge range of varieties of flowers and vegetables that keep me coming back, and occasionally they have a seed sale when you can pick up even more bargains.

Poor service and unsatisfactory way of dealing with orders.
We ordered a vine & seed potatoes. They took money and then said order was sold out. Cheekily they did not refund money and said order would be processed next year!!! Had to ring them to get refund. Will not be dealing with them again and will advise DT accordingly.

seeds galore here
what a fantastic array of seeds and plants trees etc, delivery is very fast and really well packaged. have some great offers online if you keep your eyes peeled.
can be alittle pricey without the offers :)

Godt udvalg og økofrø, men LANGSOMME!
Lad det være sagt med det samme, levering kan være LANG! Læg mærke til at er står 'Despatch: within 14 days' på langt de fleste frøpakker. Det betyder i grove træk at du ikke kan regne med at modtage dine frø før tre uger fra du bestiller.
Har man det i mente, er det en god side, med mange fine frø, som er svære at få i Danmark. De er også meget konkurrencedygtige på prisen, især på økologiske frø.
Fordi de er ærlige omkring at de først sender op til 14 dage efter man bestiller, mener jeg ikke jeg kan bebrejde dem den langsomme levering, og jeg har altid været meget tilfreds med mine varer derfra. Men synes jeg ville nævne det.

en af verdens største udbyder af frø. Her er mange specielle frøsorter som ikke fås andre steder. MEN meget lang leveringstid og priserne er ikke billigere end i DK alt taget i betragtning. Frøene fås nemlig også hos udvalgt forhandlere i DK. Men som sagt mange sjælden frø.

Godt frøsortiment, men lang leveringstid
Bestilte flere typer grøntsagsfrø som ikke kunne købes i Danmark. Porto rimelig billig ca. 30 kr. Frøene blev leveret efter to uger. Ringe kundeservice og ingen mulighed for track and trace.
