I have tried to use ticketmaster alot in the past but it is so confusing and always goes wrong for me, so i end up doing it over the phone. Improvements need to be made to this site deffo before i will use it again.
Really good site, easy to use and fast to get tickets
This website is just ok. It doesnt always give you the best prices availabe, but its not the worst either.
Extortionate booking fees per ticket, and then they charge you for postage on top! Try going to the venue direct if you can, or book through SeeTickets who are a little cheaper on the fees..
Having booked quite a few shows via this site I have always been satisfied with delivery of the goods and prices - would only buy my tickets here.
Ordered Rockness tickets well in advance. They didn't get delivered. I didn't get a refund.
The fees they charge mean you know you're being bumped a bit, which is kinda okay provided you get what you paid for. To have paid them a fee + the ticket price and for neither to be refunded really takes the biscuit and I rank this company the worst I have ever dealt with. The staff were unhelpful and had clearly been briefed to fobb off anyone trying to get a refund, regardless of their responsibility in it. If I had the energy I would take legal action.
Their fees are ridiculous, but you don't have much choice in most areas other than them. I always try to buy my tickets direct from the venue first and if that fails I go to ticketmaster.
I love the fact that you get a countdown timer. I also love the personalisation where you can identify favourites and receive timeously alerts.
I ordered 2 Concert tickets on Friday, and they arrived today "Monday" now thats what I call Fast.
I was very impressed also by the "Signed for" delivery method, this ensures no one pinches them, great service, well done ticket master
I rang ticketmaster for 3 tickets for my daughter and grandchildren to see the 3D film of JLS in Weymouth, as a treat. We live in the Manchester area, and would be down in Poole on holiday on the film-date. I printed out the receipt, on which it said if you were travelling 5 days before the event, phone or contact ticketmaster. As we were travelling down south 8 days before the event, I tried to ring Ticketmaster. No replies. The twice when i did get an automated reply, it said I was calling at a time of high traffic, and cut me off!!! Not impressed I rang Cineworld in Weymouth, where the film was showing. They were so different....they tried to ring Ticketmaster themselves, and after 20 minutes rang me back to say they had only just been successful themselves, but I would have to ring Ticketmaster myself...they would not talk to Cineworld. I rang Ticketmaster...after 5 attempts got through, to be asked if I would wait till the next day to see if the tickets arrived (no good, travelling next day, by this time). I said I wanted to collect the tickets at Weymouth, so send them there please. I was informed that the tickets, if they arrived at my house, would be invalid as they would be cancelling them - as I wouldn't be here to know if they arrived or not, I wasn't bothered!! Eventually I was informed I could pick them up at Weymouth Cineworld, which we did. Would never use Ticketmaster again. Will always book direct with the venue.
i love this site as when you register with them you get early updates to when your favourate artists are on tour i was so excited when i got my pink tickets for one of her concerts it was awesome well worth the money and i will definate be going again.
Not very reliable at all
Be warned some of the tickets that they say are available are not !
Very deceptive.
They have tickets to everything going, the my tickets master section has great suggestions and often seem to buy the best seats. The only draw backs are the fairly high fees and ridiculous postage of £5, they even charge you £5 to print the tickets out yourself.
But like I said they have a nice web site and are often the only place where you can buy tickets on-line.
normally when a company advertises a product they advertise the full total however ticketmaster would charge for oxygen at the venue if they could!
Ordered loads of tickets over a couple of years and never had any problems with any aspect. A lot of people do forget that for big events the amount of traffic on the site is enormous and problems are bound to pop up. But always delivered promptly and good communication. But like the other reviewers, it annoys me they cant just state upfront what you are going to pay instead of adding all these amounts on at checkout and a ticket that was originally £30 you actually end up paying £45 for!
Always adding extra costs to the price initially shown - very misleading and totally unnecessary!
I waited for an hour and a half on their website queueing to buy some tickets. Only to find out that there was only 1 left.
How many others were sat waiting in the queue only to find out that there is no availability. i assume that the facility didnt shut down because there was still A ticket left.
Slight IT issues I think
I am a huge music fan and cannot always avoid using ticketmaster. I've never had problems with them if i can order tickets but my issue is the link with these and their sister site, getmein.com and their astronomical booking fee's.
I'm suspicious when tickets which are in high demand sell out almost immediately on ticketmaster, yet getmein.com will have them at overly inflated prices.
Do these tickets ever appear on ticketmaster?
I buy lots of concert tickets and have never been let down. Great seats and great delivery services. No tickets have ever been lost on delivery.
I'd used Ticketmaster for a few years with no problems. However, last year I bought tickets for Owl City in May for a concert in November. Some time during summer, the date was cancelled and not re-scheduled. I did not find this out straight away, and Ticketmaster did not bother to issue a notice to us letting us know. When I eventually did find out I had to email them to request a refund which they said they could do no problem. However, I still can't believe they didn't email those who had bought tickets to let them know. They let themselves down in my eyes.
Very good expirience. Booked 4 tickets for the Musical "We will Rock Your" Easy to select seats and printing tickets.
