Many months ago I booked concert tickets to see Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2013. A couple of months befor the event we decided we would stop over in a hotel rather than drive home after the show (we are indiginous Londoners but now live about 80 miles away). On investigating we found a great and cost effective way to do this was make the trip into a 2 day theatre break through TicketTree and arrange the "theatre" evening as the second night of our visit. Organising this was a breeze, and we ended up with a two night bed and breakfast break at the Copthorne Tara in Kensington (just about walking distance from the Albert Hall - about 20 minutes) including best seats to see "Thriller Live" on our second night at an extremely competitive price compared to just booking the hotel direct. The room was excellent - designated a "superior" room. I will be back later in the year for more events at the Royal Albert Hall and will not hesitate to take this approach again.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed the hotel and the show, and that it all worked out well for seeing Clapton. Let us know when you're back in London and we'd be more than happy to organise another stay for you.
