Excellent
Over the past few years I have bought a number of laptops from Tier1online.com. They offer various grades of refurbished stock, but they are always clear what each grade represents. Mostly their computers come from corporate sources so are mainly "big name" PCs. Buying from them means you can get a really good computer far cheaper than if brand new, but with the confidence that it will keep on going and be good value for money.
I have never had a problem with them, they have always supplied what was described and their courier company even specify an hour's window for delivery. Excellent products and excellent service - I have no hesitation recommending them.

Great to do business with.
I first used Tier1online a few years ago. since then i have bought TV's, laptops and computers from them and everything is still working. Great value and excellent condition.Their delivery times are excellent.
At one stage i had a problem with loading software onto a laptop i bought from them...they collected it, sorted it and sent it back, working!
I have no hesitation in singing their praises or recommending them to anyone. There are a few high street companies that could learn from them, big time!

Bargain prices but not always as described
We deal with Tier1 with a lot of refurbs. The majority of them are spot on and have no issue. We are an IT firm and we have turned up to jobs with one of their PCs and there was no operating system installed. Troublesome for us as we have an allotted time to install devices in business premises.

Perfect online shopping experience!
I personally recommend Tier1online for your IT needs, I bought an M91p Lenovo i7 desktop for under £130 with 18 months warranty still available by Lenovo!
My Lenovo was in immaculate condition and has 2GB RAM, DVD/RW, all cables and Windows 7 Professional COA, all I needed to do was contact Lenovo and they gave me a phone number so I could get the windows 7 Professional recovery disks and additional software and driver disks too!
It only cost me £20 for the P&P for the disks which came from France, the disks cost nothing only P&P!
Tier1online also gives a warranty along with my desktop I bought which is an added bonus!
Buy with confidence!
Shipping was immediate and delivery was fast!
Desktop arrived extremely well packaged and padded, desktop was well protected inside the hard cardboard box it arrived in.
I will buy again in the near future!

Cheap, fast and reliable with good support
I have bought two reconditioned laptops and one desktop from Tier1 now. The first laptop gave good service for around three years before dying, which is pretty good considering it cost me less than £100. I generally find that after three or four years even bought from new top of the range laptops at ten times that price will die for one reason or another.
The desktop is still running as our family computer (and print server) after around three years and shows no sign of quitting. Shortly after I bought it I had a problem with its hard disk - Tier1 responded by immediately shipping me a replacement, with Windows XP pre-loaded: no fuss, no argument - just solved my problem.
The fact that I have recently bought a second reconditioned laptop from them (again at under £100) should tell you all you need to know: I am a satisfied customer.

Every customer has an expectation and with Tier1 you will be more than satisfied.
Tier1 was suggested by an I.T. friend of mine and after I bought a laptop from them, I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Excellent product and service.
Bought a cheap second hand laptop from them for my daughter. It was better than described and she loved it. In fact wanted another but they had ran out.
Being a cheap laptop I didn't think I was going to receive a top service but glad to say that I was wrong, they're good guys!

Laptop was like new and delivered promptly - what more could you ask for?
Refurbished Dell Latitude E5400 Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 Grade B (Marked Lid)
Although a Grade B item the laptop was presented in beautiful condition and looked like new. It was set up ready to go with everything cleared off the hard drive, but with the operating system loaded. We just set up the wireless, loaded up OpenOffice and Firefox and it was ready to use. Many thanks to Tier1 for enabling our voluntary organisation to get a laptop at an affordable price.

Good value computers that arrive very quickly
I purchased a couple of laptops from Tier1online in recent years and tthey have both been extremely good value. I did not need high end spec's for the tasks I had in mind and the Thinkpad's supplied by Tier1online were perfect. Both machines were in good condition with no software issues at all. One of them was used on our boat during an Atlantic Crossing and provided the primary navigation and communication systems without fault or faliure.
The most recent one has displaced a high spec laptop as the family's favopurite browsing machine as it it so quick.

Good sensible support or first class kit at great prices
I have just purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad business lap top and the advice I got was first class, as was the subsequently purchased machine, at a fantastic price, delivered exactly when it was promised. Down side - none really except that you cannot buy the operating system installed and checked. Otherwise fantastic and will use them again as the business grows

Slightly disappointed in deliver experience, paid for quick delivery but stock taking delayed shipment
The product itself was as expected, but the delivery experience detracted from the overall level of satisfaction.
As this was an urgent requirement, I paid for next day delivery only to find that due to the Easter holidays they were closed on good Friday. Easter Monday and for stocktaking on Tuesday after Easter. Hence the next day delivery occurred on the Thursday after Easter. (Still got charged for next day delivery).
The laptop itself worked well and still does, however I am not sure where the back-up of the operating system is stored, if at all. I suppose I need to ask, but just haven't had the time. Would have thought that data should be included with the product.
Would I buy from Tier1online again, yes. Product are reasonably priced, hopefully they can improve their delivery/shipment process so that one is not paying for a service that simply cannot be delivered.

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
I bought a used laptop for my grandson and was pleased, on the whole. It arrived promptly and was less marked than the advert suggested, allthough showing signs of use there were none of the minor cracks in the casing that were warned of.
It was a little dissapointing that none of the free updates from Microsoft had been downloaded and it had a service pack installed that was serveral years out of date. Also the Wi-Fi software was in a tangle and it took someone much more clever than me to sort out. In other words, with a little attention to detail and no cost, I would have been delighted.

I am very glad you saw the value in our Lenovo ThinkPad T43 (@ £79 INC VAT plus only £5 for express delivery) and even though you bought a Grade B item you were pleased with condition – they have been extremely popular product for us!
Due to the age of the laptop the Windows Service Pack installed is a little older than some and in order to sell them at £79 we were not able to perform all updates.
I have checked with Customer Services and am glad that you were able to connect your device wirelessly without the help offered. Our pre-delivery inspection includes the testing of the wireless – which was fully functional – however there seems to have been a configuration setting that needed adjusting.

Laptop as described with excellent delivery time
As somebody who doesn't know about laptops, I was a bit cautious when purchasing one. At tier1online, there was a range if laptops not only in my price range, but fitted up to a high standard for resale. It came like a brand new laptop. Not had a fault with it since. QUALITY PRODUCT - GREAT PRICE !
I had for a long time desired a compact but powerful laptop. I regularly checked out the latest ultraportable machines but could never bring myself to shell out the considerable investment required. Then one day I happened upon the Tier1 web site. I found Grade A reconditioned Lenova x220's with 9 cell batteries, 8gb of ram and ips screens for a fraction of the price of an equivalent new machine. I had never heard of Tier1 but a check of on-line reviews for the company were favourable. I decided to take a punt. My laptop was delivered promptly and I have been very pleased with it. I found it to be in "as good as new" condition with no discernible wear, excellent battery life and fantastic key board. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tier1 to any of my friends.

All in all this an excellent company! No quibbles.
I purchased a reconditioned Dell D630 laptop from Tier1 which arrived on time and very well packaged. 10 weeks on and the laptop is going fine. Windows Vista was installed (which is not my favourite by a long way!) and I did have a small issue with the bluetooth which seemed impossible to disable but Tier1 promptly offered to rectify this remotely for me.
I have since installed Ubuntu as the OS and boot up time and general useability is much improved.
This is my second laptop from Tier1 and I would recommend them for value for money and excellent service. *****

Great quality and performance at an amazing price
I was looking for a new laptop but couldn't afford an ultrabook and didn't like the look of the new laptops in my price bracket. I saw Tieroneonline were selling refurbished thinkpads and having had a good experience with Lenovo at work decided to give them a try. The laptop arrived swiftly and in the condition described (pretty much perfect). It's performed flawlessly since then.

All the grade A Thinkpad T420s had been sold. Then I was told some grade B ones were also available for a bit cheaper. Took the plunge. Unit is almost perfect and looked brand new when opening the box. A very good deal.

Terrific price for a great machine (Lenovo T410). No scratches, scuffs etc. Everything works perfectly as advertised & the battery holds a fair charge (about 2 hrs). Great idea with just a few snags
Love your website - it is very easy to use and you feel that you can trust the descriptions etc. The grading part is particularly helpful. And was very surprised at the reasonable cost of postage. The battery life is better that I imagined it would be and the laptop is solid in structure.
Have enjoyed using the laptop that we have purchased. At the beginning a few keys stuck but that seems to have sorted itself out. The only other thing is that it has shut itself down a couple of times without us knowing why. And twice when we have tried to insert CDs it has brought up a blue screen and caused a shut down. This is a little worrying but we will see how it goes.

The Perfect Laptop
This website and laptop was recommended to me by a trustworthy friend and he proved himself yet again to be trustworthy in his tech knowledge.
This laptop has been nothing but brilliant since day 1.
The keyboard feels very good to use and the laptop as a whole is very well made and feels very robust and sturdy. I was extremely happy to recieve a very good laptop bag which I didn't expect!

Perfect customer care, excellent products
I choosed a refurb Lenovo x220 and customer team helped me a lot replying to all my questions regarding shipment (I was ordering from Italy). So after my bank transfer (the only option for international customers) the parcel has been sent the same day with a trackable parcel service and arrived at my place one day before the expectation!
The laptop is in very good condition as stated on the website (a Grade A refurb).

Excellent products, low prices and fantastic customer service
I've had 6 laptops off these guys over the last few years,
Without exception they've been exactly as described (in fact usually better) and arrived securely packed.
Only had one technical issue, which only became apparent after a week and they replaced the faulty part without question.
Latest purchases were two Lenovo T43s for £79 a piece! These are tough machines and at that price they can be given to the children or thrown under the sofa without fear - unlike a tablet!.
And a T420 - I'm a software developer by trade and these are more than happy running Oracle, SQL server and a heavy IDE. For the bargain price of £370, and in perfect condition (supposedly grade B but It looks fine to me..)

Another good buy
