I was trying to find nightlight bulbs.After many attempts I stumbled upon TLC. What a find that was! To my surprise and delight,they stocked the item I was looking for and I duly ordered them. This was on a Monday.They were delivered by Royal Mail,first thing on Wednesday morning. Superb service from both TLC and Royal Mail! 10/10 to both of them. I know where I will be shopping for lightbulbs in th future.
I have used TLC Direct a number of times for the purchase of lamps and I had a delivery back in December of 12 100w ES R80 Reflector Spot Lamps. I had issues with lifespan of this last latest batch but after one phone call to TLC Customer Service desk they agreed to send out a total order replacement which is in my view unusual in this day and age. The replacement order arrived within 24 hours days. Excellent service!!!!
I ordered my electrical bits and pieces late Friday. On Saturday I received notification of delivery on Monday. The order arrived 8am Monday! Not only were the goods reasonably priced and of good quality but the service was the best ever.

I would recommend this company to others I chose the fast delivery service and it was super fast I placed my order late afternoon and it was delivered before 10 am next day the product was as described online would have no qualms about buying from this company in the future Wish more companies out there were like them .
What can you say about a light bulb? Not much! However having replaced all my standard bulbs with LED bulbs 12 months ago, one has just failed. As they have a 3 year guarantee I was a bit put out and contacted Tlc who send me a postage paid label to return the item for a replacement. I only posted it yesterday & they have emailed to inform me they are despatching a replacement already. Wow I wish other companies supplied return postage paid labels and acted so fast. Just for the record all the other bulbs are working fine and the price was the best I could find.
Ordered switches and sockets, good quality at a nice price. Placed order at 3pm, parcel delivered 10am the next day. Brilliant! I have bought from TLC previously and this is typical of their service. Highly recommended. One very happy customer.
I put in a call at midday, the phone answered almost immediately, with a very helpful gentleman, Mark, who did exactly as he said he would - get my order out same day for delivery next day and that day was a Friday - never a cert…. but it was.
I cannot recommend TLC highly enough.

Unbelievable! Ordered the heater on the Friday and received the heater the day after i ordered it on the Saturday it so i was very happy indeed. Imagine my disappointment on opening the box only to find the grill had a dent in it. Couldn't understand how it got dented as it was really well packed. Checked the boxes again but could find no dents or marks so had to assume the dent had occurred at the manufacturers. I sent an email of complaint that Saturday evening. Got the reply first thing on Monday morning with a phone number to contact to sort out times for the delivery of a new heater and the pick up of the damaged one. Next day the job was done. I had a perfect heater, the other one got taken back. I can't fault the service and felt moved enough to write this review (something I don't generally do) Than you TLC.
I purchased two strip lamps for a spare bedroom in late 2012. The fact is, in just over 12 months we only had one visitor use the room so neither light had been used for more than a couple of hours max. Last month I realised that one was no longer working so I contacted TLC to enquire as regard the warranty, as more than 12 months had passed. The response I received was 'it is 12 months as is standard, but, here is how you can return it and we will despatch a new replacement!', no questions asked. Mine was of course a genuine case but they didn't know that yet they simply replaced it with no questions asked. This company is one in a million, but of course it is the staff that really form the company. I almost feel inclined to purchase something that I don’t really need just to please them! I have recently ordered some networking cables and tools and asked for a quick dispatch. Received a prompt action and email response to my request. For me this company is a great example how you should be treated, so often other compies are so far far away from this.
It is a pleasure to be able to express my appreciation of the service provided by TLC. I found it necessary to return a faulty inverter, and then return the replacement which had the same fault. When I spoke to the TLC representative on the phone he accepted what I had to say and at no point suggested, or so much as hinted, that I was in any way to blame, even though the repeated fault in the item was very surprising. My problem was handled with the utmost courtesy and efficiency. The representative even took time to locate and check an item for me, before despatching it. When they say that an item will be in the post that afternoon they mean it. I received each replacement on the following day which, given where I live, is remarkable. Everything, including supply of pre-paid labels for returns, was arranged so as to give me as little trouble as possible. From first complaint to receipt of a working inverter took very little time. On top of everything else the replacement was despatched before I had returned the original! I was treated as an honest, responsible person, and my word accepted. I wish all companies worked this way. I also wish TLC had a branch near me. So, in summary – excellent.
I had never used TLC before. I discovered them whilst searching for electrical light fittings on the internet . From using their online ordering system to delivery of product was a very efficient and effective service , a totally positive customer experience. Clear and easy to use system , fast and on time delivery of order , quality product on arrival , effective communication during process , what more could a customer ask for . TLC not only deliver on their promise to be the very best supplier of electrical items but they far exceed it. I had trouble with another supplier of Varilight times and TLC saved the day delivering faster than I could have hoped. Exceptional customer service appears to be the standard for these guys and I am delighted to say that I've just placed another order with them for more switches and sockets to reward their excellence in customer satisfaction.
When I needed to replace a unit that was the wrong shade of the colour scheme I ordered they sent 3 alternative units to make sure that the new one matched properly. That's service above and beyond.

TLC replaced failed LED lights by return post; items failed in run-up to Christmas and were sent back under guarantee on the Tuesday afternoon and replacements arrived on Thursday morning. Previous orders have always been handled quickly and efficiently. Outstanding service.
