2 out of 3 items was received within a week with a note that the antenna was out of stocks and would be sent as soon as possible.
After approx. 45 days an email was send to the company asking for delivery time of the missing antenna.
Answer : I was too expensive to send an antenna to Denmark so the vendor cancelled the rest of the order –a refund was offered and recieved.
My opinion : Not a serious company – there are others out there offering the same product to the same price.
If you decide to use this company only buy one (1) thing at a time.
The shop looks good, there are a lot of items, and the prices seem to be reasonable. My inquiry was answered quickly, so my first impression was good.
Therefore I felt confident when I bought a bundled naviceiver and some tool, and the package was delivered within few days.
So far so good.
Unfortunately the item didn't fulfill my expectations due to several problems related to the integration with my car, so I decided to return the item. At that time, I had been testing the item for less than a week:
I got the item on September 26th, did a test-installation in my car on the 29th, and on October 4 I made the decision of returning it. So I sent an e-mail to the shop telling them, that I needed to return the item (according to my Right of Withdrawel within the EU and especially Germany).
From the date of reception (September 26th) until the date where I informed the shop about my decision of returning the item (October 4th) I counted 8 days. So I didn't expect any problems because it was within the period of 14 days.
But the first answer I got from the shop, was that the date of return was already expired!
Say what?! I didn't understand that. So I informed them about the issues I have with the item, and the reason for returning it, but the shop wrote that it wasn't their mistake, and instead I should contact the importer/manufacturer. Of course the shop was right about that the issues were not their mistake. But it was irrelevant, since I just wanted to return the item. So I kept writing that I needed to return it and I also guaranteed, that the item was kept in a perfect condition. But it didn't help – although they replied my e-mail everytime, my specific request was completely ignored without further comments! Telling the shop, that I then had to give them the lowest rating and sharing my bad experience with other people, the shop informed me about if I didn't withdraw my "False allegations", then they would involve their lawyer.
False allegations?? Again I don't understand. I am just telling about the facts and my experience, like most Internet shoppers do.
Lesson learned: I cannot trust this shop anymore because they let me down since they ignored my Right of Withdrawel. If you are not 100% sure about an item and might need to return it, then I definetely cannot recommend buying it at this shop!
Im Garantiefall wird man hier sehr unredlich behandelt,nach Kauf von zwei Subwoofern ging einer nach zwei monaten kaputt ,es wurde mit unglaubwürdigen einseitigen aussagen ein Garantieanspruch abgelehnt,einen Beweis und den LS bleibt mir der Shop schuldig.
Ausgezeichneter Online-Shop mit hervorragendem Preis-Leistunsverhältnis. Habe meinen Gutschein, den ich bei meiner ersten Bestellung erhalten haben, jetzt mit einlösen können. So wurde mein Kauf nochmals günstiger. Bin sehr zufrieden.
TOMS Car HiFi ist einer der wenigen Läden, der wirklich Ahnung von der Materie hat, was das Thema Car HiFi betrifft, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist spitzenklasse. Die Beratung ist sehr Freundlich und Kompetent.
Um alles in eins zu fassen, hier werde ich alles was Car HiFi betrifft kaufen, sowie im Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen.
