Fantastic customer service, product range and prices - very impressed!
"Tons of Tiles" was recommended to me by my mum after she had a very positive experience buying some floor tiles from them - and I'm really glad that she did.
I recently bought my first house - an 1870 mid-terrace which needed a heck of a lot of renovation (mainly due to damp and the other usual suspects in old houses). I wanted to find tiles which were in keeping with the house's Victorian features and Tons of Tiles' extensive range encompassed so many suitable, beautiful options that I was more than spoilt for choice... (Victorian Retro Metro, crackle-glazed tiles, solid or glass bevelled-edge tiles, etc).
Unfortunately, I'm also a little indecisive AND determined to find 'the perfect tile' for various bits of the house (yes my friends do, quite justifiably, take the p*ss out of me). So I ordered a sizeable assortment of sample tiles - 99p each, with a few exceptions for some of the larger bevelled-glass tiles, all delivered for FREE! They arrived in the post quickly and well-packaged. Two weeks later later I ordered yet MORE samples, along with their "Universal Grout Rescue" for my shower. That Grout Rescuer package kicks ass, by the way - it got rid of stains/discolouration no amount of scrubbing away with various other cleaners had shifted. Then once you've got lovely, restored grout you can spray the "Grout Sealer" on to protect it from future stains and keep it looking lovely for longer... Both cleaner and sealant are easy to use. By the way, I promise I don't work for Tons of Tiles or anything! Their stuff's just really good, in my experience.
When I finally made my made up and ordered the floor and wall tiles for my kitchen (having had a gradually reducing 'short list' of samples propped up in there for deliberation...), I booked a delivery date online and the next day was phoned by somebody from Tons of Tiles to say that the glass wall tiles I wanted couldn't be delivered until 2 days after that, which was no problem.
While I was on the phone to the woman I asked her about a slightly different variety of my chosen glass tile that had just appeared on the website, but didn't have a picture of it up yet. She was extremely helpful and rose to the challenge of describing exactly what this other tile looked like compared to the one I'd ordered (poor woman, she was so patient...) and answered all my other questions too. When I asked if I could change the glass tile part of my order to these other glass tiles she went away and checked for me, told me that would be fine and re-processed it on the spot. She was friendly throughout as well as being uber-efficient, so I definitely give then 10/10 for customer service, no hesitation - plus a gold star sticker too, perhaps...
I'll certainly be using Tons of Tiles again in the future and will recommend it to friends too.

My tiles still haven't arrived!!!
Order by 2pm for delivery the next day apparently.
I ordered about 12pm Wednesday, it is now Sunday and they still haven't arrived! Really annoying as the tiler is starting tomorrow and we haven't finalised which tiles to buy.

Great value find
Really good value tiles but be aware deliverer will not go up or down even the tiniest step. Our tiles were left at the side of the road so I had to unpack and carry them all in with no assistance.

Good site, good price, prompt service, but let down by marked tiles.
Good site, good price, prompt service, but let down by the fact that 6 out of the 8 boxes I received had 4 stripes of what seems to be grout across every tile. This caused me extra work as I had to scrape every tile before putting on wall. Was not advised that the tiles would be in this condition.

Hi Martin,
This is is a protective powder to stop the tiles scratching in transit, it is part of the packing process, the powder wipes off very easily when the tiles are cleaned after grouting.

I ordered two samples of tile they arrived next working post. Fantastic service. The samples were large - a quarter of the actual tile size, This gave me a really good idea about the tile as ordering from the internet is not like looking at an item in the shop. But I am in the process of getting exact measurements and will be ordering my tiles soon. The prices are excellent, much better that high street BIG companies who evidently are not offering discounted prices even though they advertise that they are!!!! As there is no comparison to what Tons of Tiles is Offering.

Great! Ordered end of Easter Monday, delivered by 9am Weds.
Really pleased with the service, ordering and delivery. Got what I wanted and exactly when I wanted it. Paid £12 additional for morning delivery slot, but worth it. Delivery driver really nice and helped unload the pallet (only very small order!).

Very efficient service
I requested three sample tiles and was advised they would take 2-3 days to arrive. They actually arrived the next day which was really fantastic. I haven't yet ordered the tiles but hope to do so in the next week or so and will be able to feedback on their ordering and delivery service after then.

Something wrong with the address fields on the website
I have ordered sample twice so far to find a suitable tiles for my bathroom and kitchen. The first time the delivery address missed out the company name and more than 4 days before the sample reached me, it took a while for the building management to sort out where my floor is. And I doubled check what I entered was correct.
For the second time, I ordered it last Friday but still haven't received it yet. I guess there must be something wrong with the address again.
Besides the problem regarding the delivery, I am quite happy with their ordering process. But I am hesitate to order all the tiles again, as I am fear that I may not receive all the tiles.

Sorry to hear that there was a delay in you recieving your samples. Unfortunately once our samples leave us they are in the hands of the Royal Mail.
All full orders are delivered by a carrier on a pallet and have to be signed and checked on delivery.

Good but could be better
Delivery wise...spot on! tiles always come on time. Only issue was 2 boxes of the tiles were smashed from the inside. Lost quite a few tiles but besides that no problems.

Very good
We found some tiles we liked but they were £110 per sm on the high street - we ordered some samples from Tons of Tiles and they were exactly the same but only £45 per sm plus delivery.
I realise I hadn't order enough on the interent, so phoned up the help desk and the additional boxes were added to my original order order so no additional delivery charge.
They said they were going to deliver on a thursday and they did.
Overall we have saved money and recieved good service

Amazingly good...
First time i have purchased from Tonsoftiles, and to be honest the name put me off, sounds like they are not serious....
However..
Easy to use website, lots of choice with clear images, simply...
most important, the delivery driver was incredibly helpful, we can be difficult to find, but he got & followed the dont use the satnav instruction & called..
helped unload, and was generally friendly.. why are van drivers normally unfriendly...( the polite view, most are just difficult!)

Complications are inevitable it's how they are dealt with that really matters
Tiles dispatched for next day delivery however order did not arrive due to a courier error. One phone call to the customer service desk and a new order was dispatched immediately with no hassle and a very apologetic advisor. A second phone call on the new delivery date confirmed the order was on route to my address and an estimated time of arrival. Friendly staff and excellent customer service
