Had to order a new lance for my CHEAP Pressure washer and found it hard to source one. Found what I needed at "www.toolbox.co.uk" and it was cheap, which suits me.
Ordered online and found it really simple, which again suits me!!
Kept up to date re its wildly anticipated arrival, via e mails, even letting me know it had missed its collection and may be slightly delayed. Again the courier company let me know roughly when it would be delivered and it arrived on time a couple of days later.
Excellent service from start to finish.

With every purchase I have ever made Toolbox, have been very reliable & their service was always very quick. The only time I had a problem it was dealt with very quickly an a replacement sent out that day! This was very impressive service an I am pleased to say I would heartily recommend Toolbox, to anyone as they will not be disappointed with the quality of their goods or service.
Keep up the good work Toolbox, who needs Screwfix direct when you have a Toolbox on hand... not me.
This company is a joke!
After seeing (on their tracking page), that my oder was out for shipping, I expected it within a couple of days. This did not arrive so I contacted customer services. You cannot talk to a live person, only email.
I actually received a reply, that stated that my order was being shipped that day by City Link.
Needles to say, it did not arrive. I then advised Toolbox, that if it did not arrive the next day, I wanted a full refund.
Guess what? No reply!
A couple of days later I received an email stating that the item was out of stock, and that I would be advise on a shipping date, no mention regarding my previous correspondence.
I had to give 1 star to post the review, but even that is too much!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Item was delivered fast. That's the only good thing valet machine looked fine untill I used it when it shot rust out and stoped took allmost 3 weeks of emils and to different people to finely get picked up on 2nd atemp then had another courtier come to pic it up just over a week after it had already been picked up was told it would have to be sent back to.manufactures to looked at and tested witch I did not understand as I have been using seale tools for menny years and they just replace any think that doses not work
In the end I lost patients with toolbox and went to PayPal who got a full refund
Ordered a toolbox from these people, Item arrived via citylink, Opened box and it was badly damaged and no package protection which is a joke as they state in their returns policy that you must return items with protective packaging.
Contacted customer services which is an auto email and no real person replying to your emails so the emails you get back from them do not make any sense.
I returned item as getting know where by email (which cost me £15 as it weighed alot)
After sending item back, I recevied an email asking when I will be at home so they can send citylink to collect my item, which was clearly to late to which I told them this.
They received Item but did not inform me and I had to contact them again to which I got a reply telling me they have refunded me for the toolbox.
I Have now got the same item elsewhere, cheaper and it came in boxed up in an offical DRAPER box as well as the packaging which makes me think they sent out seconds because i received this item from toolbox.co.uk damaged and without it boxed up in an offical Draper packaging.
Good value Machete, the finish on the handle a little rough but the blade seems sound enough. Ideal tool for rough work where you would not want to damage an expensive blade on rocks hidden in the bracken.

All went well but I do think a phone number would help. It feels like you are hiding from your customers!
Payment taken but surprisingly all items that were shown as in stock are now awaiting deliveries with no shipment in sight for at least a week. How can one rely on doing work by buying tools from this not so honest retailer?

Bought a Draper Multi tool kit without shopping around as I had been a previous customer and been pleased with pricing. Checked afterwards to find that I could have bought the identical item considerably cheaper elsewhere - whether the service and delivery speed would have been as good is another question.
I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company based on my experience with them. I ordered a garden furniture set about a month ago that was showing as in stock on the website but I later received an email to say it was actually not in stock and that there would be a two-week wait. And when the furniture was finally delivered it was completely the wrong set.
Customer services were very slow to respond to my email messages (you can't reach them via phone) and were pretty unhelpful when they did respond. They did not really explain why the wrong set had been delivered, other than to say the right set was not in stock so they'd decided to send me something else!
After nearly two weeks and many repeated requests that they pick it up, they finally collected the wrong garden furniture set. However, a month on from my original order, I am nearly £250 the poorer and there's still no sign of the right set being delivered...
Ordered an HT Lead rRemoval Tool. 5 days later still no sign of it. Emailed toolbox in the vain hope of some action. (In the meantime I managed to find one somewhere else). Received an email telling me item would be in stock in a further 4 days. Informed Toolbox that I no longer needed item and required a refund. No response. 5 days later I received an email telling me my order was processing. Emailed them again to tell them not to send it as it was no longer needed. Each time I emailed I received an email stating "My team work flat out to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible. If your enquiry is not answered within the next two hours you will be sent a status update email telling you where you are in the queue. You will continue to be updated every two hours (during working time) until your enquiry is dealt with. The vast majority of emails get replies in less than 8 working hours and I am always pushing to reduce this time as much as possible."
I have received NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE from these CRETINS. I heartily recommend NOT USING THEIR SERVICES.

I went online to order 1 Wild Cat 1 Watt LED Focusing Torch 1x AAA - CAT102 £9.60 (I have pasted in this description from my online order confirmation). What was delivered was the 3xAAA battery version, which was much larger than I wanted (I'm trying to replace an existing Wild Cat 1 Watt LED Focusing Torch 1x AAA which no longer functions well, and which I purchased elsewhere online a long time ago). I e-mailed Customer Service to tell them of the mistake, but they stated that the order which they received was for the 3xAAA version, and that as far as they were concerned the correct item was despatched. I said that this was very odd, and that I wished to return the item, unopened, and to receive a refund. I followed the procedure of which they advised me by e-mail, and I duly posted this on 22 Aug, with proof of postage. As of 11 Sep it still has not been received by Toolbox, as told to me by Customer Service. All together, it has been a rather unsatisfactory experience.

Ordered a Nilfisk extension tube, confirmed in order receipt email. Later received a despatch email telling me they're sending me a padlock instead, tried to find phone number to ask them to sort their mess out but there isn't on on their site!
Good price, however...first they tried to deliver the item on the wrong day; we experienced problems when trying to reschedule. The item arrived with a damaged part and a few bits missing. I reported this straight away on 16th July. To date (6th Sept) I have only received one of the missing items. They sent a replacement for the damaged part but this was in far worse condition than the original. I contact them regularly for an update but, after almost TWO MONTHS of waiting, I am still being told by their Customer Services Manager that the matter is in hand, however they "are experiencing a large volume of email enquiries". For info, this is with a £250 item.
There was a slight delay with the availability of the products I bought, but I was promptly informed of this and given the possibility to cancel my order, which I did not. They kept me informed by email at all stages and provided me with tracking information about the parcel. All went very smoothly.
