Cashback is good when it works, and the chance to convert cashback in to Tesco clubcard points is a bonus. However, some companies may use cashback as a marketing ploy, with little intention of paying the promised reward. I refer in the main to Churchill Insurance, where the confirmed cashback of over £50, though listed as confirmed, has still not been paid after nearly 7 months. Needless to say, they will not be retaining my business when this year's car insurance expires.
