I bought 5 items on 10/14/13 now it's 11/8/13 and I still haven't gotten my package. My 2nd order was on 10/26/13 and I got the item in about 2 weeks. On the website even though I got my 2nd order it don't update it still just says "Your order has been dispatched from our warehouse." This just tells me they wont update my 1st order which I have no idea where it's at! I don't even know if my 1st order is lost.
When something i want is out of stock at the Topman store nearby, I get it from from Topman.com, the service is pretty good, I received my order in a couple of days and the site usually has better discounts than the store!
I decided to purchase shoes from Topman because they were the only store that have them in the color that I wanted. After completing my purchase and receiving my confirmation I checked online to see reviews of their site. I must say that I was really skeptical about my purchase after reading the reviews on this site, but i've just received my order in less time than I expected. I placed my order on August 1, it was dispatched August 2nd, and then arrived at my house on August 9th, So it only took 6 business days in total. (The shipment was from the UK to Phoenix Arizona, USA)
The fact that they don't offer tracking on free shipment is a huge setback, but if you're looking to purchase something off of their site I would definitely go for it. Don't be turned off by the bad reviews, because my transaction with Topman was pretty much flawless.

I just recieved my gold skull earrings from topman in the mail today it was less than I expected but I am happy with it. Things are often enhanced in pictures online so in person it looks different. I was not able to track my order but it came in less than 8 days. The earrings are perfect except it's not as shiny. Besides the not shiny earrings I was happy with my purchase the customer service answers to email's fast and everything was good for me. I live in Florida and I got my package in the mail in 5 working days. When ordering from topman be confident be happy and don't stress over reviews just be positive and wait.
I was wary about the fact that I'd seen so many horrible reviews for Topman AFTER I placed my order, but my shirts just arrived, on time. I'm omitting one star for the lack of international tracking, however, I did get my order on time so tracking wasn't a huge issue for me.

Terrible delivery system...it's really annoying to be uncertain as to if you're gonna receive your parcel or not, it's totally risky to go for the free/standard shipping, no tracking number but still YOU ARE PAYING $15 if you order something under $50. HORRIBLE SHIPPING SERVICE, seriously they're gonna lose a lot of customers if don't do anything about it.

Its been 10+ days now. No sign of any package. Like someone else said I thought maybe I could be the exception in the shitty service. Normally I would have more patience, but Topman even managed to email me a confirmation of my shipment, but with no way to track it, as I quote, "You can track your order at . Just enter the tracking number and delivery postcode found above in the fields provided." Yeah thanks.. Since that didn't work out, I went to my account on the website and tried to follow the tracking number off that, but the page it leads to does not exist I'm told. Now I'm just looking for the most painless way to get my money back..
So disappointing. I was hoping that I'd be the exception to the general rule, but their international shipping really IS as bad as the internet says it is! I waited nearly 4 weeks for my package; they wouldn't even look into the possibility of a lost shipment until it had been in transit for 3 weeks. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for a refund and honestly, I'll be surprised if it processes without issue. I reviewed 2 stars because there's "no sign of malicious intent" but Topman certainly does show bad judgment. I like their stuff for my husband, but I won't ever order from their website again.

I have ordered about a dozen orders from Topman, all about £100+ and on occasion return a few of these products (about 6 returns so far). Despite the Royal Mail confirming successful delivery of my returns Topman have claimed on each occasion that they have never received the return and have me wait 28 days before filling in a form and finally obtaining a refund. This is a very frustrating process and easy way for them to hold on to my money for long periods of time.
This is NOT the only Acardia firm to do this (have had similar issues with BHS), so will be forwarding all relevant information over to TSA to look into.
I got my package in under a week and didn't pay extra. I got the regular free shipping. You can track your package if you go online and into their website and look around enough. They will redirect you to a website called parcelforce.com. Great store. The only issue is that they will sometimes not mark items as out of stock until you've already order them but then they will subtract the price of said item from the total order. Overall great quality
Products are fashionable. Although it looks like online shop is kind of outlet for the real shops. Have noticed some products come online half year later I had bought them from Topman shop in NYC. Web user interface sucks - sometimes zoom does not work with some products etc. Delivery sucks - big online shop like Topman can probably negotiate similar prices with DHL as Gap has negotiated. So there should be no need to use ordinary post. Delivery takes weeks.
As you may have noticed after briefly scrolling through these reviews, Topman has a horrible reputation for shipping. However, my experience with topman was completely different from the majority of these reviews.
I needed a pair of velvet slippers for a graduation formal on May 2nd. I ordered the shoes on April, 17, 2013. Topman promised I would receive the shoes by April 23rd, 2013. The reason I shopped at Topman was because they were the cheapest alternative I could find so I was eager to purchase; which also meant I did not see all the negativity associated with topman prior to my purchase. After buying the shoes off the website, I quickly did a google search to find the overwhelming majority of dissappointed customers here, which suffice to say made me slightly nervous about my recent purchase. Nevertheless, when April 22nd rolled around, my shoes arrived! I was pleasantly surprised, as I was expecting the worst. My location (Toronto, Canada) is an international delivery, which meant they could not track the shipment. This is the only factor limiting the review to a full 5 stars. Just remember, don't be put off by all the negativity here. People often only post reviews when they have a bad experience with their shopping, which may skew what people may think about a company.
All in all, I am completely satisfied with my first online purchase with Topman.
worst shopping online ever. payment keep pending 3 times and i must wait about a month to get refund. the staff blaming my visa provider whereas there is no problem with my card. no paypal option here. better go to the shop instead.
The order is not trackable, this means that you will never know if your order will ever arrive to your house! My order is missing from one month, I'm going to ask a refund but this kind of things take a lot of time so maybe I will see my money again (on paypal!) next month. Really bad experience.
I went online to review about Topman before I bought anything from them and I got these searches about Horrible Shipping and Customer Services from Topman. I decided to take my chances with them because I wanted a jacket from them. I purchased my merchandise without the tracker because I didn't think that it will take longer than 10days. I ordered from February 15 and I factored in the weekends so I expected my package to arrive at March 1. However it is March 8 and still haven't received my package and they can't track it for me. So I am curious to say where is my package and AM I GOING TO RECEIVE IT? I shouldn't have to take risk if I bought something worth $300 and it is a 50/50 chance I never going to receive my item.
I gave a one star rating because there is no negative stars to give! It has been 3 weeks and I have not received my items!!
Emailed several times and the customer service actually emailed me back with this --"During busy periods a response may take slightly longer, however please rest assured that there is no need to resend your email. We have received it and you will receive a response from a member of our Customer Care team at the earliest opportunity."
Well, apparently NOBODY even bother to email me back and let me know what's going on with my items!
It just simply doesn't make any sense to give me a tracking number if I CANNOT TRACK IT AT ALL.....

I ordered a jumper as a Christmas present, and got a confirmation that it was with the shipping company on the 17th December (before the Royal Mail second class last post deadline before Christmas). 17 days later, and I still haven't received my item. I contacted customer services, but have only had automated responses telling me that delivery takes 5 days! I know there can be delays over Christmas, but all my other online purchases arrived in time. I wouldn't shop with Topman online again. You expect more from a big retailer.
I live in the UK by the way, so having read the other reviews, clearly their customer service is bad wherever in the world you live!
When i walked into the shop in york nobody else was in the shop and an atmosphere between me and the staff was noticable. The young in-experienced staff were at the opposite side of the shop talking to each other in a three and when i looked over they stared back and continued their conversation. I continued shopping, found some chinos and quickly walked to the till. As i stood at the till nobody was there because they were still talking with each other and when i looked over i had to wait for them to finish before i got served.
Thinking about it form another point of view the group of staff were stood in a circle infront of the shoe part which is intimidating and so i didn't look at the shoes, possibly losing a sale for topman. I have kept this inside me for sometime now and im glad i could share my view. However i still shop at topman but htats not that point they must improve their cusotmer service and get older mnaagers so their staff arnt demotivated and rude creating a friction/ atmosphere,
Topman has inaccurate shipping times.
Topman doesn't provide tracking, so you have no idea where your package is.
Topman took over 3 weeks to deliver one shirt.
Topman normally charges 15 bucks for this service, but got free holiday shipping
Topman has stores in the US, but clearly has no sense to create a US warehouse to ship from throughout the US. How hard is that??
I've ordered items from clothing companies located the UK and this was not my experience. This needs to change, Topman, or your reputation will seriously suffer.
AND if you try talking to customer service about this, this is what they respond with [even though you give them tracking numbers, order numbers, name and address]:
"Thank you for your email received 13 December 2012
If your order has not arrived within the timeframes detailed above, please click here to reply to this email and we will investigate this matter further.
In order to investigate this for you as quickly as possible, we would need you to could include as much information as possible, including your order number, tracking number, delivery address and a contact telephone number. You get this GENERIC piece of crap. As if they did not read my e-mails at all.
I ordered on Nov.23.2012 and they said the package will come " no later then Nov.30.2012" its now Dec.13.2012. Just look at the other reviews on this site and you decide if you still want to risk ordering from Topman, its up to you. I am going to my credit card company today to let them know of a fraudulent payment to these assholes and that should wake them up. Anyone else who has had similar issue please speak up.
EDIT Dec.19.2012: Topman responded well to my emails after waiting for a while and refunded my money promptly so I am at least happy about that despite the lost package.
Went to TOPMAN to buy a shirt for a friend for a Christmas gift. On November 20th I placed the order. Received and email with an order number and some bulls*** tracking number that doesn't work on any British, American or international delivery companies.
It is now December 7th!! Two and a half weeks of waiting for this package!
Called TOPMAN 1:30am here in California so that someone would answer at 9:30am England time. The woman on the other end told me that she could not track the package after it has left England and that i would just have to wait. Ummm, NO! when you ship internationally, the company should provide an international shipping number!! SO unprofessional.
She told me if i had not received my package by December 11th to call back. What for? are you going to magically be able to find my package after 12/11 or re-send the package that I've already paid for maybe with a good tracking number that actually tracks?!?
I will never ever order any gifts through this website ever again.

I order a coat for my boyfriend for anniversary gift, after one month it is still not here yet!
I call customer service,they never pick up the phone, I send them email, they just keep replying me same thing and ask me wait for it.
The U.S customer service number on Topman.com is wrong! I'm just wondering did they really send my order!!!
So never buy anything online in Topman, it is so disappointed that I receive the anniversary gift and my boyfriend got nothing!!!!
And now i really don't know what to do to get my order!
This company is highly suspicious regarding their business methods. They do not deliver my order and the do not pay back the refund they promised even though I spent several hours on the phone and in mailing correspondences. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM ONLINE, you will risk not getting anything, and having no chance to get your money back, but to sue.. Extremely disappointed!!
Well I made my order the 24th of September. and they said I will have my order no later then the 5th of October. and the days went, and everytime I sent a mail. 4 days passed before I could get a reply. finally on 28th of october they wrote back that my order was lost in transit. so they would make a full refund within 5 working days. So here we are at 16 of november and still have not seen any money. and again when I write, they can reply back " in order to find you order. you will need to write your order number" well idiots if you just scroll down a few mails. in the same chain of emails I would not have to wait 4 days to this reply " Thank you for your email received 11 November 2012.
I have forwarded this information to our Refunds Department who will investigate this further and ensure your refund is processed as soon as possible."
and yes now its the 16 of november and no reply from them... worst lack of service I ever experienced
It's hard to review their customer service, when it's not existing. I ordered 6 items last year, but only received three of them. I tried using the online enquiry, but there was no response. I tried THREE times, and yet there was no sign of service.

Ordered two particular items within their sale e-section, supposedly paid for the items, only to have received an e-mail "We're sorry but due to its popularity this item is now out of stock and we've been unable to dispatch it". Waited three days believing the other item being in-stock, only to e-mailed once again"We're sorry but due to its popularity this item is now out of stock and we've been unable to dispatch it". This as happened repetitively on previous occasions, only to be terribly disappointed, also; whilst e-mailed as out of stock the very items are yet still listed on the topman site as being in-stock. Topman do get your warehousing in order.
having visted your topman store in 785 middlesbrough on friday 6 july 2012 looking for some hoilday gear i picked up some sandel s that where in a sale which where marked down to 6 pound s from twelve the young lady was busy serving someone else at the time still add time to ask me if i needed any help lovely smile very well mannered even went out her way to find the right size in which she very happy with the service it s a pity that the rest of the shop s in middlesbrough dont give this service where i work i alway s like to give 100/o percent but this young lady alex philps was a star regaurds al walker
I recently spend over £300 on an order spending £25 worth of giftcards on the order.
I returned a pair of shoes worth £135, I received an email saying that I had been refunded the full amount. When I checked my bank account I had only been refunded £105? I phone Topman Customer Service (very rude people) and asked why they hadn't refunded the full amount they told me the had refunded £25 of it on my gift card? I didn't buy the shoes with the gift card, these were bought using my VISA. They said I ticked the terms and condition box so I had to have it on the gift card.
I told them that I had just spent £300 plus I spend regularly on my store card and in store and they still wouldn't do the right thing and refund the money on my card. By UK Law I am entitled to the full refund and not a credit note but I didn't take it any further as I don't have the time.
I thought Topman would recognise a loyal customer and be fair but unfortunately Topman did not see this, I'm going to settle my store card balance and spend all my money at Urban Outfitters!
Topman have easily the worst customer service I have ever received.
My order was paid for with "next day delivery" costs added on, the order didn't arrive, so after a week I complained by email.
The first email response tells me they are investigating the matter and asking for tracking numbers etc which I provided in the first email.
I get a reply telling me the courier left the order in a safe place.
I reply again explaining that there is no safe place, it isn't possible to leave a parcel somewhere inconspicuous or out of the way where I live.
After 2 more emails I get the same reply again! They are investigating the matter. It has now been over a month with no replacement order or attempt at refund or even a phone call.
The phone number provided by them online just leaves me on hold costing more money. Massive waste of time.
They use a courier service in the UK called Hermes who are utterly useless, but they also charge for next day delivery despite not being able to provide that service at all.
I don't know how they are still in business.

I have ordered things from Topshop online in the past, and been thrilled with the experience. Topshop delivered my items in a timely manner, and customer reviews made purchasing clothes extremely easy (for size conversions, right fit etc). Topman is a completely different, horrible online experience.
I went to Topman to buy a present for my father, a jacket. For starters, no customer reviews of items made choosing the right size really difficult. But that was only my mildest complaint.
I made my (AUD$100+) online purchase on April 9. The website said, and I quote "Your order will be with you no later than Monday 16 April 2012". April 17 came and went, and I sent a polite email double-checking that there weren't any hiccups with my purchase.
No reply (in the 'submit query' I had asked to have a follow-up response by email. I received nothing. Not even an original confirmation of my lodged complaint).
April 20 I submitted another online enquiry. Again, stating that their website had given me a delivery date of April 16 (and with such assured wording too, "no later than").
Again, no reply to my online query, though once again I requested a response to me query via email.
I then tried calling the 1800 number they have listed for Australian customers to use. This is the height of annoyance, because of the time difference with the UK their telephone customer service is always closed when I ring. ALWAYS! And having to call them in the middle of my night in Australia is so, so inconvenient.
Topman offer no tracking on international orders (even though every other overseas online clothing company I have ever ordered through give brilliant tracking - Urban Outfitters, Free People, Anthropologie...)
Utterly horrible online experience. The worst I've ever had. Never shopping at Topman, online or in store, ever again.
UPDATE: on April 28 I (finally) received a response to my online enquiries about my seemingly lost item. In truth, it was a very helpful and succinct reply - and then today (May 14) the refund came through and I was reimbursed for my undelivered item. I also received a very apologetic email from Topman. I might say it was too little too late .... but in all honesty, I appreciated some recognition for my complaints and while I would have appreciated it more in a speedier reply, I found that the content appeased my anger.
In light of their response, I'm bumping my review up from a 1-star, to a 2-star.
A lot of reviews told me that Topman.com has bad custumor services, but I decided to give it a try while I desperately needed a suit for a school-gala. Topman is one of the few (almost the only one) shops that offers clothes in small and slim sizes that I can fit. I live in the Netherlands and Topman told me that it would take them 3-5 working days to deliver my clothes. I ordered on Sunday and needed the clothes on Friday. If it would take Topman 5 working days to deliver my clothes, they would be too late. But Topman offered me an option. If I paid them 10 pounds for shipping costs they would be able to deliver my clothes in 3 working days. So in order to avoid the risk I paid them 10 pounds and in return Topman told me exactly when my clothes were being packed and despatched. I received my clothes on Thursday, which was as promised in 3 working days. The clothes are of high quality and fit me very well, which is a very rare thing for me to experience.
I'm very pleased with the way Topman delivered my clothes and I will most certainly order from them again for they offer a wide range of sizes.
I went to a lot of stores and went through so many online shops, but the only one that could offer me nice clothes in my size was Topman.com. Thank you Topman for giving me something to wear to my gala!
I am actually very disappointed with the company.
After waiting for 3 weeks, my parcel was considered lost in its way shipping to Australia. The company decided to refund.
However it is taking another 2weeks (up til this moment) to refund the money to my account, and I still havent received the money in my account.
There is no way that the amount will not appear on my paypal account which I used to pay if there were any action done by the company.
Very bad and slow service. I will NOT buy from TOPMAN again.
As a shorter than average bloke I am very impressed to see Topman stocking sizes in xs and even xxs. Hopefully this will become the norm in all high street stores as in most stores it is difficult to find small sizes. Well done Topman!
