Snow chain disaster!
I found the customer service, at tow equips very disappointing, in my recent purchase of snow chains for my vehicle. On ordering, I specified size of chain to later on delivery to be sent the wrong size! I of course contacted the company, and they asured me the chains would fit, and asked for photos to show the problems, i was experiencing. They agreed there was a problem and arranged a per paid, returns envelope, to return the product. A week later I had received a new set! To my amazement, exactly the same as the first! Its quite incredible,as i spoke to a member of staff, a few days previously to double check my order. In frustration I contacted Tow equipped, to express my anger and demand a refund! I was told, I would have to pay for the costs, in returning the item, as the prepaid label I had used previously was no longer available to customers! They also informed me that refunds were only maid if items were in as new condition! I of course had used the product, in attempts to fit the chains...
I have personally found the whole process, extremely frustrating and believe tow equipe needs to improve on their customer service..

I bought a tow bar as shown in the photo only to have a completely different tow bar delivered,as far as I am concerned this company conned me ,then when I complained about it ,was told its only a photo they use

Good untill you get a faulty item
I bought a car specific towbar wiring kit for my ix35. When I connected my trailer I had no brake lights. After checking the system I found I had a faulty relay. As it was five months since purchase, I phoned and eventually got a person, explained the checks I'd made and waited on a call back none came. After four calls three repeats of the checks, three call backs and four days they eventually said they would get a relay from the makers and forward it to me. This was done promptly. The calls and time spent by them trying to get the item from the manufacturer at no cost to them would have paid for a new relay, never mind the hassle to myself.

Hastle free towbars
Looked up the tow bar I required on there web site rang the sales department to confirm I had selected the corect towbar, checked stock and availabilty all ok ordered it over the phone paid for it with visa card this was at 3.00 pm the tow bar arrived the next morning well packed with good instructions everything thing required was in the kit; fitted the towbar to the car no drilling or modifying required fitted straight on wired up the lights road tested vehicle with a trailer all Ok returned car to customer everybody happy

Tops for service, advice and qual;ity goods
For someone who was quite naive about acquiring the correct type of roof carrier for modern cars not fitted with rails or a gutter, then Towequipe are the experts in providing advice and the correct goods at competitive prices. Fantastic serviceery pleasant and
I ordered a Tow-bar and so I rang Towequipe direct. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful, nothing was any problem. As I live in France I had the tow-bar delivered to my friends father's house (from where my friend would pick it up for me) I had a problem with the tracking service, so I rang Towequipe again and once again my problem was answered very quickly and efficiently. I would very definitely use this firm again and would recommend them to anyone.

Got the snow socks I need at the lowest price on the web, used them last winter they were fine.
Purchased snow sock just before the snow came last winter. Towequippe delivered well within their deadline. Fitted sock to my car, worked fine.

Product broken when un-packed. Then replaced with also bits broken......need I say more !
Not sure if I will use Towequip again as I purchased a set of roof bars. Collected direct from the factory. On getting them home I found that the item looked like it had been run over by the delivery lorry !!! I had to take them back as they could not send a replacement in time before my holiday this was a second round trip of 60 mile.
When I got the second box back this also had broken items in said box. I managed to use the bars for my holiday as I could still use them without the end peices. The replacement finally turned up after my holiday, and after I had phoned for a second time informing Towequip of the situation. So would you use them...maybe not !

They worked for me

towbar but missing bits
this was a good towbar and fitted perfect eventualy I had a couple of bits missing and only found out after taking the car to bits to fit it then had to build the car back together and do another day but on the plus side phoned up about missing parts and got them deliverd the next day

Does what it says on the tin.
The tow bar was delivered to my house without any issues.
The instructions weren't fool proof but gave the the just of what needed to be done.
No issues at all and the install went off without a hitch and it was reasonable.

Mr Fitz fits Towequipe
Ordered the tow bar for my Santa Fe on normal delivery. A Witter tow bar arrived the next day. Brilliant service without the express delivery charge & cheaper than I can buy anywhere else. This is the third tow bar I've had from Towequipe so they must be doing something right.

Good product
Excellent product and delivery service. However, even for an experineced DIY mechanic the instructions left a lot to be desired. It wasn't until I was well into the dismantling of the bumper and associated fittings that all became clear. There was no mention of taking off the crash pads/bumper fittings at the end of the chassis arms and no mention about inserting the tow-bar fittings into these chassis legs in the instructions.

Towequipe are knowledgeable and efficient with great products and staff
I bought a towbar and dedicated wiring from Towequipe for my 2003 BMW 5 series. I needed to know it would fit my M Sport model. I also needed to know the difference between the standard electrical piug that comes with the wiring kit and the 13pin plug. I phoned towequipe a few times with questions and spoke to two different people and both were knowledgeable and answered my questions quickly and in plain English so I could understand it. The ordering process was quick and the parts arrived quickly and were of good quality. I had a BMW mechanic fit my tow bar, he had research how to fit it to my particular car as the instructions were quite brief. so fitting didn't throw up any problems. If I'd been fitting it, I would have spent two hours just trying to get the bumper off and the instructions for wiring were too brief. So all in all, I highly recommend the products and Towequipes service but provision of better fitting instructions would certainly help, even if they are downloadable from the towequipe website.

Good value and great service
I ordered a top box. It was a reasonable price and arrived within a couple of days. Exactly as described. Not quite the most robust model but that's up to me I guess. Then I ordered bike racks and took advantage of the existing customer discount / reward. They also arrived within a couple of days. Excellent.

Have used this company repeatedly, professional service consistently.
Each time I ordered something from them, they deliver. Once, the item code was incorrect and the liner was too large, they never quibbled on the phone we just sent it back freepost and they went out of their way to locate the correct item and dispatched it very quickly. I would never go anywhere else for a boot liner-I even bought one for my mother!

Absolutely RUBBISH!!!
three times they sent us the wrong roof racks even after looking at the car when we returned the first ones and £20 discount doesn't make up for the hassle and diesel we had to fork out for returning them all the time! will NEVER use again and NEVER recommend.

Tow bar fine, but I phoned the office and it took 10 minutes to answer, the person on the other end could not help as I had chickened out of fitting bar myself and I was going to have towequipe fit it for me.I was informed that the lady who could help me would phone me back and she did 24hrs later ||| .far far too late,so I made other arrangements
and another company will fit for me. your loss
