Should be minus stars

Quick to take money, not so quick to tell me the item I had been waiting for for 4 weeks was never actually available, despite in the end making almost daily calls where I was given reassurances that it was all just a delay elsewhere. Turns out that's not the case (although the item is still for sale on their website) and having asked for a refund they are now just sitting on my money. 5 weeks of my cash. Brilliant. And customer services are soooooooo rude and infuriatingly, put the phone down and cut me off repeatedly - and I've not been remotely rude! I so wish I'd seen this site before ordering from them. I will be in touch with trading standards.

Very good company as far as we are concerned!

When we read these reviews we had already ordered the goods and paid nearly £500! We thought OMG what have we done!!! But we need not have worried. We ordered over the Christmas period. The goods arrived at the start of the week, we asked the courier not to deliver untill Friday(today) they duly arrived and were great. All was ok. Now we live down in Dorset so nowhere near them and we are very impressed with the service. Maybe we were just lucky but I think we would buy from them again!

No probs nice and helpful

purchased a sink it was by far the cheapest and in stock, im local so collected, would recommend. Seems a lot of disgruntled folks here thou, may be because a lot of folks will shout louder after a bad experience but remain quiete after a good one.

Indescribably poor

If it weren't for their cheap priices this company would have ceased trading a long time ago. Returned a sink to them which was several weeks late in delivery and despite the transport company confirming they had returned the sink to Trading Post they claimed not to have received it and as I had no proof of delivery I should claim from the transport company.

Belfast Sink(ing disaster)

Absolutely pathetic. Gave me a two month runaround chasing an order i had made on a Belfast Sink and taps. They sat on my money and gave excuses over the phone. They did not reply to emails. Trading Standards need to investigate. I am awaiting my refund.

ZERO or MINUS 5

I have never dealt with such an awful incompetent firm. If you get what you want and have no problems you're lucky. The moment you need any sort of customer service from these people the wheels fall off.

The staff are all complete muppets who lie and lie and lie.

I am currently trying to organise a charge back with my credit card company.

Avoid these crooks or pay the price!

[Update] Eventually got my money back after sending them a 'final notice before action letter', but I really can't describe just how much stress this company caused me, my wife thought I was going to have a break down![/UPDATE]

Bardis

My story is as below. Wrong cooker delivered, Jonathon gives different answers each time I ask for a replacement - basically, they can't get a replacement. When I gave 3 alternatives, I got no answer when I rang and kept being put through to an answermachine. I, too am going to Trading Standards

Avoid this company like the plague

Delivered me damaged goods and then refused to do anything about it. Thankfully my credit card company saw they were acting comlpetely unlawfully and have given me my money back. Do not use this company unless you want months of aggro.

Trading Post Appliances - they are a dreadful company

This is an awful company to deal with - they tell lies, don't respond to phone calls or emails, send faulty and incorrect goods, and blame the customer. I ordered a cooker, hood and splashback and was assured that they would be delivered in two weeks from my order. The phone operator told me that they have access to the manufacturer's system and so could see when items would be delivered to Trading Post prior to delivery to me. The delivery date came and no delivery. I phoned them to be assured that the item was due in 3 days - again, no delivery. This went on for a further 3 weeks - I phoned them every few days and was always given a new delivery date which never happened. When I complained that I had been mislead on the delivery date, I was accused on lying. When the items finally arrived one month later, one is faulty and one is the wrong colour. Trading Post are refusing to replace the item which is the wrong colour - they say it is my fault and they couldn't possibly have made a mistake! I am going to contact Trading Standards for advice before I phone them about the faulty cooker as I can predict the customer service I will get from Trading Post! Zero!

Makes my blood boil

Absolutely disgraceful customer service.

I've been without a kitchen for nearly 2 months now. They delivered the wrong sink, and I'm still waiting for them to pick it up and deliver the correct one.

I basically don't believe it will ever happen, and am now trying to swap or sell the wrong sink.

I'm going to report them to trading standards now I've seen so many others have had similar experiences. It's obviously not isolated!!

Very poor customer service

I won't be dealing with these people anymore. Ten days after ordering two appliances, and having my credit card debited, I received an e-mail saying that both were discontinued models, so I asked for a refund. It took another twenty days and numerous phone calls before the refund was actioned. Later I checked their website, only to find that they are still advertising these so called discontinued models.

Complete Nightmare

This company couldn't care less about your customer experience. They lie about absolutely everything from lead times to issue resolution. They will tell you your order will be delivered 5-10 days from payment clearance. In fact, their orders take over a month. If you call them to chase up your orders, they will make up some rubbish about stock takes, item being out of stock and will tell you that your order will be despatched 3-5 working days, which never happens. The funny thing is when you call again and speak to a different person 5 minutes later, you will get a completely different story. Sorry for bad language but it's just a tin pot outfit staffed with complete incompetent bulshitters who couldn't care less about your experience. Save yourself trouble and go somewhere else. Any money you can save by buying it cheaper from this company is wasted on all the phone calls you have to make to find out what's happening with your order.

Tradingpost Appliances aka THIEVES!

I bought a cooker, it was delivered damaged, informed them the same day of the problem, they said it's nothing to do with them. I have sent an email to the MD of the company and still no word. To the lady below who wants to know the owner of the company His name is John Delaney. it's a family run business. This tuesday will make it 4 weeks since the cooker was delivered. My advice to anyone who wants to buy something from them. If you want High blood pressure, bad quality/damaged goods and appalling customer service this is the place to shop from. To others who have to burned by these people PLEASE report them to Trading Standards they should not be allow to treat people like this.

Message for those who have been burned by them PLEASE PLEASE log on to a website called www.canyoutrustthem.com and post a message of your experience with this company. The more people that do so the better.

Should not be allowed to trade

Goods delivered after 4 weeks (quoted 7 days) then a cheaper version arrived. Agreed to a refund which took 2 months and every time I phoned to enquire was lied to that it would be refunded the next day. When it finally arrived it was £50 less than I had agreed to. Staff unhelpful and sometimes rude and basically accused me of lying about accepting the refund. Do not use them.

Very rude staff

No matter how much I hassled delivery never came. Kitchen fitters came - no cooker, no hob, had to buy others. Telephoned to cancel, was informed the items had left warehouse day before, therefore i had to pay £30 delivery fee. They never credited my credit card so I had to chase them six weeks after placing order. No apology just rude staff, told credit would be sent within 3 working days, when I commented on curt manner of member of staff, she put the phone down on me. When I called again, before I had said more than one word, she put the phone down on me again. I have tried and tried to get some form of apology but all I have received is that I now have to pay £80!!! Wish I could find out the name of the owner of this company. I will do my best to find it out. Wish I had found out about TrustPilot BEFORE I dealt with TradingPost.

One star

I would give lower if possible. Ordered a sink they delivered an alternative without telling me. The one delivered was £100 cheaper and they didnt tell me. 6 weeks later I am still waiting for them to collect it and refund my money.
