I found Travel Republic very competitive, and reliable. I'm always wary of online holiday companies, but have had not problems with them to date having now booked via them on four occasions so far and would see no reason to change. I would and have recommended Travel Republic to other people.
A great company, on line and over the phone, nothing to much trouble for them to sort things out, first time I used Travel Republic was a bit wary to start with but I say this now all my future holidays will be with them, less expensive than the rest, and great customer service, thoroughly recommend them!!!!
having used Travel Republic numerous times I cannot find fault with them, last year the hotel I was booked into closed earlier than expected and TR got me booked into another at no extra charge, I have always found their pricing to be better than some other sites and will continue to use them when booking my holidays.
We have used Travel Republic in the past and have never been disappointed. Our holiday this year was no exception !! As always they delivered excellent service from start to finish. Thorough,on time with paperwork, every detail fully explained and very quick. All one needs for a no hassle stress free holiday booking .
Flights, transfers etc all perfect and precise .

We booked the 'Blue Marine' hotel near Agios Nikolios in Crete with TR, and found the hotel to be excellent, just as it said on the tin! The hotel rep was arrogant (hotels4u rep) looked like she needed the holiday!
Could have taken less paper work with us, everything had to be printed out and kept in order throughout the trip to and fro.
A WORD OF WARNING (NOT TRAVEL REPUBLIC) DO NOT USE THE 'EXECUTIVE' AIRPORT LOUNGE AT HERAKLION AIRPORT, it was an utter disgrace! my wife and i paid £44 for substandard treatment with hardly any food within a very short time frame, it spoilt our trip back to England.
All transfers etc were good.
Monarch airlines were very good.
We both will use TR again in the future.
All of our special requests were met. We traveled with an 87 year old wheelchair user and had airport assistance in both countries and was given a disabled apartment. Cannot fault communications from the customer service team before we left. Would recommend and will be booking with Travel Republic again.
transers to and from hotel was excellent hotel was fantastic had a problem with the room when we arrived that was due to the hotel paid for a room with balcony sea view and pool view but never got it and did pay extra for it apart from that everything was excellent would go with this company again.
this holiday was booked for 18 and at the last minute 2 were unable to travel due to the death of my father(grandfather for the other party member) i was told no refund will be given and was very disapointed as this was not just someone not wanting to go. it was essential non travel I am in the process of drafting a letter to head office under the circumstances I would like to know if any kind of refund is available as £700 is a lot of money to loose especially under these circumstances .Other than this side I would consider using travel republic again but willwait to see how i get on with this matter
On arrival at our hotel (12.15pm) all the facilities were closed, the pool was even empty. The hotel advised us that they had notified TR of this 2-weeks before our travel. We were offered alternative facilities, by the hotel, and went to have a look. It took us 17 minutes to walk to this hotel. We then decided to call TR and ask for their assistance.
Initially I was on the phone for 2-hours, of which they promised to call back (they didn't I had to call them). We we then offered two alternative accomodations but for extra costs. However, due to being tired and very upset II begrudgingly paid £65 on my credit card to move to alternative accomodation with a lower star rating.
Please note that within these phone calls the TR representative confirmed that they had been let down by their supplier and were NOT responsible for us within resort.
On arrival at our new accomodation I was presented with a further bill of 280 euros. We were not able to access our room until I paid it. I therefore called TR again, whereupon the service was appalling. They hung up on us several times. They had lost all recall of the previous 2-hours!
The hotel told us that TR had not paid the bill. TR blamed it yet again on thier supplies HRS, based in Germany. I then had to call HRS in Germany on my mobile phone. TR promised to call us back on several occassion but didn't.
In summary 7 HOURS later, with a drained iphone (due to all the calls to sort it), paying an extra £65 - two very tired and upset single ladies were finally able to get into a room!!!
Travel Republic should not be able to offer holidays and let this happen, it was really very very upsetting!
I have booked with Travel Republic many times and would deffo use again...what a great company,, straight forward on the internet or always a travel advisor available on the phone...yeahhhh looking to book again shortly..!!!
We got a good price on our hotel in Paris through Travel Republic and there were no problems. But one worry - Travel Republic are only an agent for the company paying for the hotel, which turned out to be the dubious-sounding Jumbo Tours, based in Spain. I suspect this means the credit card company would not be jointly liable if something should go wrong. Not happy with this way of doing business.
Search engine is good. Lots of choice available. Delay in booking the flights though. It took 2 days despite the fact that I could have booked the flights myself at any time. There was no explanation as to why this took so long. Customer services kept saying ring back later if the flights still not confirmed. I believe that if the flights had increased in price in this time I would have been liable for this extra cost. I always book last minute and am aware that flight prices can go up dramatically in a short space of time. That said the holiday went without a hitch. The hotel was better than expected. The resort was quiet but suited us and only a short bus ride to the main resort. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from locally. Overall I would consider using Travel republic again.
Be careful with that company. We booked many extras for our holidays such as indoor garage at the hotel and return taxi service from the airport. The garage was not available at the hotel and they never send our reservation to the taxi company. When we called them we got a message that they would answer us in 20 seconds to be told after waiting on the line that their office was closed.

I have used travel republic for the past 5 years and I have had no problems with any of my bookings for hotels or transfers. The price is always competitive I personally would go no where else.
We surfed sites for a cheap break away as we were both knackered and needed a rest!! Travel Republic is the cheapest website at this time, and it is unbeatable. We have no complaints and would recommend the site, and we would use it again.
Amazing deal and no problems at all with the booking. Queries were answered by phone and email very efficiently.
Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.
The main problem was the price advertised on your site for the room we had booked. We booked it for 214 euro, after 3 days of waiting for the hotel confirmation we were contacted to say those rooms were all gone and we had to pay 240 euro. My husband paid it and when we got to the hotel we found out that only 190 euro went to the hotel. The hotel charges 240 euro a night for the room all the time as i have been watching their website for a while. We only went with your site because it was cheaper. It feels like false advertising on your part you would still have made a profit from us had you charged us the price we booked it for. Also it took you so long to confirm the hotel booking it was wednesday before you got back to us. I wont be using your site again and I will not advise anyone to.

Have used Travel Republic on numerous ocassions and have never had any trouble with the holiday package that they have provided. They cover all aspects of the holiday - hotel, flight and transfers.
We have booked on-line through other agencies in the past and this was the first time we had used Travel Republic (our friends have always used them and recommeded we give them a go). We were VERY happy with the service, it was easy to understand, they kept us up to date with flight/transfer changes and having just returned from out wonderful holiday (which turned out exactly as it had been described) we will now be recommending Travel Republic to our other friends and family.
This is the second holiday i have booked through travel republic and i couldn't be happier. Its easy and simple. I ended up having to phone and book as i needed to pay on 2 cards and the staff were more than helpful. Will always use travel republic in the future.
I only wish i got paid for referring people to book with travel republic as i know lots of friends who after finding out how cheap my holiday was have also booked through them.
Never had a problem with Travel Republic, their price is often the best and often they offer excellent deals. I also good few upgrades when arriving at the hotel.
Plenty of choice and easy to navigate and book.

When booking my hotel, I carefully read through a substantial and complicated cancellation policy, requiring three days' notice. Yet when I tried to cancel three days prior, I was told that deeper in the cancellation requirements was a line saying that there was no cancellation was possible under any circumstances. I find this to be entirely misleading. There needs to be a clear, bold notice simply saying that no cancellation is possible without any mention of terms and conditions that don't apply.. In fact, a search through Travel Republic's listings turned up absolutely no accommodation anywhere in the world where cancellation is possible. So why mention notice, if not simply to mislead? This was a deeply frustrating experience. Customer Service was unhelpful and unsympathetic. I could not recommend Travel Republic on any level.

Easy to use, no hidden charges. Want to book only a flight - NO PROBLEM. Want to book only a hotel - NO PROBLEM, Want to book a flight and hotel - NO PROBLEM. You would be lucky to find anywhere cheaper. I love Travel Republic
I used travel republic for the fist time and found it to be a very simple and pleasant experience. I booked my flight, hotel and airport transfers with great ease. All documents were emailed to me along with reminders when information (ie passport information) was needed. All in all a great travel company - 5 stars..
This is the second time I have used Travel Republic, and would definitely use them again. I have found exactly what I was looking for each time. Their system is easy to use and confirmation is sent through quickly, so that you know all is ok! This time, I liked the fact that there was an offer to pay for flights and then pay for the hotel at a later date before travel: that would help some people spread the cost!
Everything went very smoothly.
