Read all the bad reviews and reluctantly booked flights through travelup as the price was competitive, and they could offer us exactly what we were looking for. A friendly and helpful chap called David Brooks spent over 30 minutes trying to build a complex itinerary to New Zealand from UK via rural China. He succeeded where other agents had failed (often quoting £1000 more). The line cut off a couple times prompting a little concern but he phoned back immediately. The e-ticket looked a little unofficial so there was a little ongoing anxiety after the purchase but everything went smoothly. I suspect people are more likely to leave a review if they have a bad experience than if they have a good one - or were we just lucky?
