I purchased a voucher for my boyfriend to use and when I gave it to him he told me about his last experience with tredz a week before for which ironicaly tredz didnt offer for him to write a review at the end of transaction... here are his words on what happened - After purchasing goods that were not actually in stock at tredz, I got in touch after not reciving a dispatch email.2 working days later. I was told a message jad been left on my mobile and a note of it had been stored on thier system, I told the telelphone staff that was impossible as I dont have a voicemail service. when I asked for a copt of the message they then said they didnt have it. After 3 weeks the goods arrived.
very disapointed in the service but the lie factor has put me off this site for good. Dispite admiting the lie and apologising for the delay no compensation was offered.

Ordered a parcel but never arrived. Customer service was super quick and helpful and despite not being able to find out what happened to the parcel they did not hesitate to re-send a new one by recorded delivery.
Can't fault the service. I rang up for some advice about which pedals I needed for my new bike and they guy on the phone was incredibly helpful. He clearly knew what he was talking about and actually convinced me to spend less money than I was going to because I didn't need the (expensive) kind of pedals I was looking at.
My order arrived yesterday and the pedals are exactly what I needed - will definitely be using them again!
I ordered my husband's Christmas present (Cube Clothing) very late, and really didn't expect it to arrive in time. The next morning I received both a phone call on my answer machine and an email letting me know that it would not arrive in time for Christmas and giving me the option to cancel the order. I still wanted the goods so kept the order in place. I then received an email letting me know that they had managed to get new stock and it would me on its way, emails followed giving me dispatch details and it arrived the next day in time for Christmas ! Fantastic service !
I ordered a bike light online a couple of days before Christmas - not as a gift, but to replace one I'd trashed. Early the following morning, the store called me on the phone to advise that the light wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas, and did I want to proceed with my order. I appreciated this personal service, and it was a nice touch given that I could have been ordering the item as a gift.
I've used Tredz on several occasions, and never had an issue with their service. Not always the quickest to deliver, but this hasn't been a major drawback.
I've used Tredz a number of times now (probably 10 - 15) and never had a problem.
They're not always the cheapest but I will always check them out whatever it is I am looking for. Only once has something turned out to be out of stock however, they called me promptly and the person I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helped me choose an alternative which turned out to be perfect.
All in all i can't really fault them, one of my most visited retail websites.
First order a Felt AR4, arrived on the day it should have and was well packaged in their huge cardboard box. Bike was pre-assembled but did check all of the bike. Very happy with this order.
Have placed about 10 further orders with Tredz, most orders get to me within 5 days but have been the odd accassion where item(s) has been out of stock and informed after making my order. Only one incident where Tredz forgot to send an item out, but at day 8 I prompted their sales team.
Recently have received a phone call if item is not avaialble, much better service as always given the option to cancel !!!
I have noticed that only some of my orders appear when I log into my account, maybe a software error !!!
I have dealt with a lot worse, generally Tredz gets it right. All orders are free postage so I dont expect express delivery.
I have reached my rating conclusion after 4 orders from Tredz.
My first 3 orders were on the slow side (10 days to deliver) other companies normally deliver within a few days max , but I was happy with the price and not in a desperate hurry so wasn't put out.
I wanted to buy my partner a new Altur jacket for xmas , Tredz were £2 cheaper than wiggle so opted for them , I ordered on the first week of December so I had plenty of time to receive it.
On the 17th I rang them as I was concerned that it hadn't arrived , I was told not to worry as it had been sent out , albeit late as it was out of stock ! THEY SHOULD INFORM YOU IMMEDIATLY IF IT IS OUT OF STOCK , THEY ARE CLEARLY NOT THAT BOTHERED.
In short I didn't receive in time for xmas and had to go to my local bike shop on xmas eve to purchase.
I have sent several emails to tredz indicating that I had Still not received,NO REPLY!
I have now had to open a paypal case against them to get a refund , they can't even be bothered to reply to the paypal case , I understand that the jacket may have been lost in the post , but my contract is with tredz not royal mail. Not replying to complaints is unacceptable!

MY ADVICE - AVOID TREDZ AT ALL COSTS!
Generally my orders with Tredz arrive within a couple of days as expected - happy days. My last order for some new grip tape was showing in stock on the web site, but Tredz were unable to deliver as they were out of stock. On the brighter side, they did actually call me to tell me (all be it 24hrs later) and tell me what alternatives they could offer.
Seems to me that they guys in the store are keen to provide good service but sometimes the IT stock tracker(or their use of it) lets them down, possibkly due to a rapid increase in demand.
On balance, I think they are solid, I will use them again, and feel confident they willcontinue to try and improve their service.
The product was delivered quickly and in good order. The price was competetive. However, I almost cancelled the order following an e-mail indicating that my order was delayed due to stock outage and suppliers closure over xmas meant that no date could be provided. I was surprised to receive the order the next day. The notice of dispatch arrived two days after the delivery.
The communication need to be improved as otherwise the product and service were very good.
Placed my order and confirmed the availability of all my products which was all ready for delivery.Only to receive an email from the business 2 days later advising that the bike i've ordered was out of order until March 2013. Cancelled everything and won't doing business with them again as they clearly sucks!

I'm a long established customer of Tredz so feel I can speak with some authority. Their service over the last few orders has been poor. One order consisted of two items and as one item was not in stock the other item was not sent. No explanation given for the delay in delivery until I rang and queried non delivery. Ther free delivery service compared to other competitors is slow. Sometimes having to wait over a week for a delivery. Hopefully, things have improved. I have started to ring to see if goods are in stock before ordering as there is no way to check if items are in stock on their website. I placed an order before ChrIstmas after checking the goods were in stock and this time prompt delivery was received. Prices are very competitive at the moment.
Unfortunately the model I ordered off the website was not available, but they supplied next years model at the same discounted price! - Had to wait 2 months though, but they threw in some bar tape and kept in touch throughout. Great shop!
Fantastic company very helpful on the phone if you have a query(which i did) the delivery was excellent, the trousers was what they said they were, will be using them again in the near future more now than ever. Thanks Tredz keep it up.
I had a similar experience as a number of others. On two different occasions, I ordered an item that appeared to be available, only to be sent an email saying that "Unfortunately you ordered just as we were awaiting a restock, but we're still aiming to get the item to you soon". I got the exact same error message on these two occasions, suggesting that this isn't just a mixup - it's actually standard operating procedure for them. Shame, because their prices are very good. Recommended mainly if you don't mind waiting a week or two for your order. I received my first order after about 8 working days. Still waiting for the second order.

Ordered from Tredz on 22/12/2012 using PayPal. Got several errors on their site, which I sent them and email about and got no acknowledgement. Still waiting for the items and will raise a PayPal dispute to get my money back f they don't arrive tomorrow.
I've ordered bike cleaning products from this company - disc brake cleaner, degreaser etc, and on both occasions they've done the job!!
Hassle free online ordering process, and the products/items arrive a few days later, so no complaints - cheers Tredz!
After paying for and placing an order with Tredz I received an email telling the item was out of stock and I would have to wait two weeks and asking me if I want to proceed with the order? Having cancelled the order the item was still sent to me a week later. Tredz admitted it was their mistake and said send the item back for a refund. This cost me £6.35. A day later I had an email saying they had received the returned item. A week and a half after that I had to chase them for the refund. I received the refund later that day but without a refund for the return postage. Just plainly incompetent and not interested in keeping me as a customer. Avoid!
I recently bought a Ridgeback children's bike from Tredz. The bike was £5 cheaper than any other online retailer, and delivery was free. Communication from Tredz was very good, and the bike arrived after only 3 days.
The bike was in perfect condition and fully assembled, and after a few adjustments was ready to use!
The website is incredibly easy to use. I wold recommend them to anyone!
I have ordered of Tredz several time and only ever had a positive experiance.
When I ordered a saddle from Tredz, the confirmation email said payment would be processed when the item was ready to ship. Well, my bank records confirmed payment was processed on the second working day after my order was placed.
Five days later there had been no contact so I sent an email just checking how it was going. No reply... after nine days (7 working days) I phoned them. The chap I spoke to was apologetic and explained that the item was not in stock. He said ordinarily their 'system' would have flagged this up and they would have phoned me to offer me a similar item or a refund. However, their 'system' was faulty. It was a specific item I wanted so I asked for a refund which was processed 24 hours later.
This was 5 days ago. I've just checked their website and the item is still there, available to buy. Do you think it's acceptable to take money for products they don't have in stock on the basis that people might be willing to settle for a similar item? I call it false pretenses. There are plenty of good online bike shops out there, I'll think twice before using this one again.
Tredz gets one star back for having a helpful phone support - but their 'system' is lacking.
I placed a large order, sadly one of the items wasn't in stock - but they offered a more expensive replacement at the same price as the original item.
Tredz made extensive effort to contact me to make sure I was happy.

Ordered some shorts and have received an email like other customers advising that the item is out of stock and I would receive it next week. Rang them and a very helpful person advised me that the item would be with them in 2 days and they would post them first class at no extra cost. I refused. They need a real time stock update. Sounds like they order in some items when they receive the orders themselves. I will support my local bike shop from now on and get them to order items in for me.
Thro Tredz I rodered a womens Raleigh Pioner 12 hybrid bike for an excellent price and with free delivery. The bike arrived on time and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, when I did a test ride I found that the new frame style set off my nerve damage (abdomen). I emailed Tredz Sales and they confirmed that I could return bike for a full refund. The only cost would be the carrier cost. They then suggested other bikes that might be ok to ride and not cause me pain.
I was overjoyed that I could return bike when I had ridden it on the road (only short test outside house) and for their friendly and efficient service. I would recommend them to everyone looking for a new bike or assessories
I've ordered a number of goods from Tredz and all have been received without any complaints. The most recent order was placed by a relative for my Birthday: a Topeak Defender FX-Front Mudguard. This lasted me all of about 3 weeks due to it's very flimsy design (I wouldn't recommend buying that). I contacted Tredz and after sending photographic evidence that I hadn't broken in a collision, they happily sent me a replacement. They were also very helpful and friendly.
Just FYI the replacement also snapped in the same place so bought a Topeak DeFender XC1 (highly recommended - which unfortunately they didn't stock).
Before ordering a bike online from Tredz, I contacted them first to check they had the bike in stock and in the size i wanted. Had an email reply stating it was so i went ahead and placed the order for delivery. Got 10% off so all good so far.
A few days later, i received an email stating when the bike would be delivered so i took the day off work to receive it. I waited all day and nothing came. When i called Tredz, they explained that it couldn't have been delivered on that day because of a bank holiday the day before...They should have known this before telling me they could deliver it!
Anyway, a couple of days later i received my bike. After opening a rather battered box, i realised they sent me the wrong size. A large instead of a medium which was way too big for me. I contacted Tredz and they arranged for it to be picked up the same day by the delivery company.
They said they would contact me about a replacement, but i didn't hear from them. I gave them a couple of days and then gave them a call back. They advised that the size I wanted wasn’t in stock and none were available from the manufacturer so I’d have to wait a couple of weeks more. At this point I suggested that they upgrade me to the next model in the range I ordered which they kindly agreed to do for no extra cost but there’s also a wait on stock. I thought great, as long as I’m getting a better bike than I ordered I can put up with the wait.
Anyway, a few days later I get another call from Tredz saying that the manufacturer has stopped production of the model in the size I wanted, but they could get the one I originally ordered.
At this point I’d enough of Tredz and cancelled the order completely. I actually found a local shop that had the bike in stock in the size I wanted and they offered 10% off so I ordered it from there.
I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from Tredz. They’re friendly enough, but incompetent!
After a terrible experience with another online bikeshop, which made me eventually cancel my order altogether, I went on to get in touch with tredz. They had a <2h response time by email and gave effective and friendly responses. With their next day delivery option the got me my new bike within a bit more than 24 hours from their store in Cardiff to my home in Scotland. They kept me informed about every step during the process and their costumer support was excellent. Five stars and I will be using them again and would recommend them to everyone!
I have ordered twice from Tredz. First time was perfect. The second time goods weren't in stock despite the website saying they were. When the goods were despatched they went missing in transit. The second attempt turned up next day by Royal Mail.
Customer service has been EXCELLENT which really does make up for the problems.
I would definitely order from them again.
