Bike arrived with the front wheel buckled after a number of calls and emails was told take it to halfords to get it sorted and they will pay after a 5 mile round trip i emailed three time for the £4.59
i received a email back saying send receipt or no money
i said don't bother with the £4 you can have your bike back

also bike was 5 days late ariving

Good price, but poor customer service, paid extra for next day a.m delivery and it never arrived after about 4 phone calls I made to tredz they said something went wrong with the system and orders got lost, they promised me this would be sorted out in 24 hours and will call me when the bike is dispatched 5 days later still no phone call from them just a final email stating the bike is out of stock (this was not shown when ordering on system and still doesn't say out of stock now) am not impressed with the service at all. Will not be ordering from them again!!
The staff at Tredz could not have been more accommodating. I am a new shopper to the TREDZ website and have placed two orders with them so far. Their prices are very competitive and free delivery is an essential consideration as I live in the far north of Scotland. Delivery to this beautiful part of the country usually costs a "little" extra. On both occasions the packages arrived very quickly and communications were faultless. I want to publicly say "THANK YOU" for pulling out all the stops to hunt down the elusive and near extinct ZEFAL XXL GIZMO for me. My shopping experience with TREDZ has surpassed my expectations. It seems that there are no lengths to which the staff will not go to satisfy their customers.

I ordered a part which was advertised as in stock on their website, only to get an email the next day stating that it was out of stock, saying it would 'likely arrive next week'. It looks like this is what they normally do, as lots of negative reviews have been written because of it. In conclusion, go somewhere else if you want to buy a part online!
Ordered 6 items from Tredz cycles, after a week and a day sent an E-mail asking when items would be dispatched, received E-mail back stating the goods would be dispatched the following morning (coincidence?).
Goods duly arrived 4 items only. Selle-Italia saddle and Campagnolo Athena (black) brake calipers not sent, at least they haven't charged me for them!
On opening the packaging noticed the seal on the Campagnolo Record front mech was open, so someone at Tredz bikes has obviously had a look at it, probably to check it was a band on front mech even though I ordered a BRAZE ON.
The campagnolo Centaur carbon chain set I ordered was priced at £304.99 it is still priced at £304.99 on the website, i've just checked (22:59 pm 9th March 2012) so why have they charged me £309.00?
So to sum up I've been overcharged on 1 item by £4.00, 2 items that they have decided that I am not worthy of owning, and a front mech that is of no use to me whatsoever.
Contacted them by E-mail at 10:13 am Friday 9th March and they couldn't even be bothered to reply back to me. Hell will freeze over before I use this company again, you would think that with a recession like we are in at the moment companies would be working harder than ever to ensure that they don't alienate the customers.
I'd never heard of Tredz before, but after a bit of searching for companies that accept Cyclescheme vouchers via Mail Order their name was mentioned on a couple of forums. There don't seem to be many places that are willing to do this.
Gave them a ring to clarify the situation with Cyclescheme (as some places - quite fairly in my mind - pass on the 10% that Cyclescheme take) and found out they only do on discounted/sale bikes. They were then more than helpful explaining what I needed to do to place an order with them using my Cyclesceme voucher.
Then emailed them through for a quote and got it back the same day; I've found them very responsive via email. When I posted off my voucher and order they emailed me to let me know they'd received it and were working on my order. A couple of days later (Friday) they phoned and left me a message saying my order had been dispatched and my bike would be delivered on Monday. I know delivery isn't really under their control, but it was actually delivered on they day they said it would be and given how I'm about 600 miles from them, that's pretty impressive in my book.
Bike was set-up, "ready to ride" as they said it would be (you have to attach pedals, turn handlebars, etc, obviously, but no need to adjust gearing, pump tyres, etc). Bike was very well packaged, in immaculate condition.
No complaints whatsoever.
Ordered two items by mail order. Only one arrived. Many weeks of excuses followed, including claims that a replacement had been sent. When I finally asked for a refund, they refused. They cleverly took so long to get me to that point that the 45 day Paypal payment protection period expired. Avoid this company - they are dishonest.
I've bought a few items from Tredz, they're items are dispatched incredibly quickly and if there are any probs, they are contactable by phone or email and respond ASAP - they were more than happy to exchange or refund one of the items i bought due to sizing issues with my frame. They keep you posted throughout a sale which is reassuraning.
I;ve found many online shops i buy cycle parts from don't have a clue what their selling, are vague and incure costs on the buyers part if there are any probs. Tredz cust service team seem very knolegable and are more than willing to sort anything out within reason. I'd keep them in mind when i'm sourcing my next bike parts.
Erol, Jamie, Phil, Naomi, David at Tredz. I used to be a keen cyclist 15 years ago until I decided I wanted to get back into mountain biking. I went through countless forums and also websites and gave tredz a call. I am based in Birmingham, tredz in Cardiff. I was totally out of touch regarding new mtb technology. I spoke to erol at tredz and with great passion and excellent knowledge of mountain bikes we started on a journey of choosing the right mountain bike for me. At no point was I recommended or diverted to a keen push of selling me a most expensive or surplus to my requirments mtb bike. I would have picked up upon this straight away as I am a seasoned sales director.
The right questions were asked by erol and also my needs and requirements were extensively explored. The result cube acid mtb which in my view is an excellent purchase with the help of erol at tredz.
Tredz as a cyclist specialist has a philosophy of making sure they build on a long term relationship with their customers which I find a breath of fresh air.
I went on to purchase further kit and anything else I needed for my mtb sport. I usually play safe and check on other websites to compare prices, not with tredz as I know I am in very customer caring hands. Tredz has my full confidence and trust regarding my mtb sport.

The prices speak fro themselves, and their stock level is of good quality. Frequently I have experienced sloppiness and poor communications with many companies.... The opposite is true with Tredz.
I had to return an item (ordered wrong size). The situation was handled smoothly, with email notification of return and re-dispatch. They even answer the telephone which I think is important should the need arise.
Additionally don't be put-off by comments on items being out of stock. This also happened (once) with Tredz and again the situation was handled with grace and courtesy, and with the very minimum of delay.
I recommend this company whole-heartedly and I will definitely be using them again and as a first point of call for my cycling gear.
Having normally been a customer of Wiggle, I came across Tredz and was pleasantly surprised to find their prices significantly cheaper. I ordered a rain jacket which arrived promptly and well packaged. Unfortunately it was a too small and without any fuss I was able to return it for the next size up and in fact in red not yellow. What I liked was the frequent emails along the way to let you know where your order is. That they had received the returned jacket, that a new order had been created etc.. I would recommend them for prices as well as customer service. Not always natural bedfellows.
I ordered a Altura night vision jacket in Feb 2011, great price,great delivery time, The week before Christmas I noticed some of the stitching coming away at the rear of the sleeve, I e-mailed them my problem and was told to return jacket via there returns page, posted on 31st dec. after a week I was told they could'nt find my jacket, but would be in touch, I assumed it had been misplaced in the xmas post, anyway they got back in touch and sent me a brand new replacement jacket, Great service, no hassle, no problems, Delighted.
I purchased a bike on-line recently and was informed that it had just gone out of stock, however I said I needed it urgently for a particular ride and they pulled out the stops and got the bike to me in time for the event.
They were very good at answering my questions and getting back to me by e-mail.
I would recomend these guys to any of my family and friends.

I bought a bike online with tredz and i didnt know if i had made the right choice after calling tredz on numerous occasions with different queries, every one i spoke to was helpful and polite.
They even got me on a more suitable price and knocked some money off! Top class service well done!
Ordered an inner tube on 6th January, chased it up the following weekend and told to waita couple more days because it was apparently dispatched on the 9th. Chased again a couple of days later and was told that they would send another one out.
Now up to 15 days since order was placed and so far they have taken my money, and sent me nothing, which is technically obtaining funds by deception.

I rang Tredz regarding a faulty shifter on my road bike, they couldnt have been more helpful. They kept me informed of the replacement shifters' progress throughout, and promptly returned it to me. To my delight they had generously included new bar tape and cables to complete the job. Highly recommended : )
Ordered goods from these people and they sent me an email after a day or so to advise of a delay due to lack of stock (fine). No further update until I asked but when I did they said they had already been dispatched and indeed they duly arrived as expected.
The only extra I could have asked for was an email to tell me they had been posted without me having to ask - many others do this and hence it makes Tredz look less customer friendly.
Would I use them again? Yes, without doubt.
Hi it is always difficult buying for family and as I live in the highlands of Scotland mail order is the way to go.
I ordered a Montane jacjet and was told they were awaiting stock - they kept me informed and gave me the choice to cancel. The jacket came back into stock quickly and I received it in good time for Christmas. It was unfortunate that it didn't suit my sons needs and I had to return the goods.
I posted it on Saturday and by 12 o'clock Monday I received an email stating they had received the goods and sanctioned to refund.
A great result all round as they did not take off their original postage and it is only fair I pay to return the goods to them.
I will certainly use them again as the price was good and the communication from them was excellent.
Ordered a bike lock from them that was shown in stock, after a few days i heard nothing. So i phoned them turns out it wasn't in stock, so after explaining i needed it within 14 days they assured me that it they would have it and send it out within a couple of days.
I waited a week still nothing through the post, contacted them again, apparently they had forgotten to send it out but this time they would send it out 1st class recorded.
Few days later, still nothing, so i phoned them again, spoke to a woman with a terrible attitude telling me it had been sent out 1st class recorded, so i asked for the consignment number to track the parcel, she failed to provide this and upon further questioning she admitted to it only being sent out standard post.
The following day i phoned up and asked for a refund, said they would phone me back and they didn't.
So phoned up again the next day, again asking for a refund which i am still yet to receive
Bad bad service. Avoid.
I ordered two items from Tredz at the end of November. One of the items turned up but no word on the other. I emailed asking where it was and they said they would ship it. a week later they informed me that they don't have it and cancelled my order.
The reason I am annoyed is that I had to ask for a refund, and I still haven't had it! I've emailed them at least 4 times with varied responses telling me its processing and then ignoring me. I've given them fair time to sort it out but they really are terrible.
I'm glad I paid with PayPal because I can put in a claim and force them to refund me.
Tredz, It's not difficult to press the refund button on a PayPal transaction.
Ordered a set of mudguards from them in June received an email of Despatch on the 24th. Never got them and am out of pocket for 50 eur. Tried contacting them through email and through their online contact form and never received any response at all.
Never doing business with them again and will spread this bad info to anyone who will be willing to listen.
There was a very slight delay with my order due to the item not being stock and I was immediately e-mailed to inform me of the expected delivery date.
The item ordered arrived on the date Tredz stated, customer service was excellent and goods received where top class and at a good price.
I will have no hesitation in using this company again.
When my order had not arrived after 10 working days i emailed Tredz Customer Service and they instantly agreed to send me a replacement. The replacement was sent by Recorded Delivery and i received it the next day. Excellent service !
I would thoroughly recommend using Tredz. I required an item that few shops stock and comes from America, so I phoned before ordering online to check that they could get it in. They said it would be no problem and would be shipped from the US and be with me within a week. As it happened, the TNT delivery man dropped the package at the wrong house. Tredz did everything they could to successfully retrieve the package (which they did) and despatched another to me in the meantime. Excellent service.

I've been lloking for a pair of waterproof panniers for weeks but the quality ones were too expensive. However, I discovered the Tredz website and bought the panniers I really liked, Altura Dryline 32 Ltrs, for a fanatstic price of £71.99. A price significantly cheaper than high street bike stores. The product arrived very quickly and I am totally satsified with Tredz. I tested out my panniers on a day ride around Rutland water and they were fantastic. The panniers carried all the kit I needed for the day and are so easy to use. Thanks Tredz.
i ordered some lights from tredz, got a message the next day to say that they were out of stock and would be a couple of days.
Next thing i know they have couriered my order to me free of charge!
May not of gotten the lights as quicky as i wanted but they did everything to make sure they got there quickly as possible!
even though i selected items that were specifically shown as being in stock I, like many others, were later emailed to tell me the delivery would be delayed due to items being out of stock. My order was placed almost 2 weeks ago.
I feel that showing people that items are in stock, taking their money and then telling them that the delivery will be delayed due to out of stock items is dishonest and can only conclude, given that so many people have experienced this issue, that it is done deliberately.
I have also emailed them 3 times enquiring about the status of my order and have not had a single reply. Pretty bad service considering they currently have over £1000 of my money.
Odered 3 different puncture repair kits on the 16/9/11,then informed 4 days later that the items were not stock.
If its not in stock dont list items has in stock.
Your taking peoples money then messing around around trying to obtained the product of your suppliers.
When you order online you expect the items to be in stock,which seems to be a concept you cant grasp.
Never again will i order of this site.
Placed my order, spent a week sorting out the finance with V12, a week later told the bike will not be coming in untill November, which is strange as all sizes were still showing as in stock, and are in fact still showing as in stock a week later.
Terrible service, I understand that stock goes wrong, but to list a bike that you do not have as in stock as in stock makes little sense. To still keep the bike on the website as in stock after you've realised it is not in stock is bordering on fraudulent.
Got my deposit back after a long time waiting.

I ordered a bike a couple of weeks ago but after one week was informed that the bike was not available so the order had to be cancelled. Surprisingly I was charged for the bike and so far did not receive any refund. I'm hoping that, as I bought with Paypal, I might get my money back.
I wanted to buy a bike locally, in case I had any problems, so I went to tredz in Swansea. I ordered a GIANT trance bike instore on finance. I paid deposit and was told bike would be delivered within 5 days. I contacted Tredz after 5 days and was told it would be on the next delivery. Phoned up each day and was told the same. After 2 weeks eventually was told that they could not get the bike and that I could pick another model. By this time the finance was in place and I then had a nightmare trying to cancel it. From now on I will take my chances online and will avoid Tredz.
I bought a Specialized Allez off tredz....The website was easy to use and the order went through very quickly.
The next day I received an email to state that the bike I ordered was sold out and they could offer an other colour at a discounted price.
So i took it and they said that the bike would be with me in 2-3 working days....Needless to say that the bike arrived the next day!
Brilliant service throughout!!!
