Fantastic

Trivago made it really easy to book my last holiday. Booking trips to go abroad is always difficult so to have Trivago do the main work was a really good service. I'd thoroughly recommend them to anybody looking to save time in booking holidays.

SUPER !!

Trivago's webiste is very easy to use and navigate, good search function and can easily sort into various criteria. It often shows me hotels I wouldn't have otherwise considered.

Recent booking through Trivago was hassle free and simple. Can't fault the service....

Trivago made sure I had a brilliant time AND saved money!

I really like how trivago lets you choose exactly what you're looking for as we wanted a hotel with a pool and it makes it so much easier than reading through all the garb on the hotel's website. Very useful to be able to book in a group as me and a bunch of friends recently used the site to book a trip away for 4 so being able to book all the rooms at the same time was a godsend! I saved a fair chunk by using trivago - will definitely be using it again!

Very pleased with their customer service.

I recently booked a hotel through Trivago and found it easy to use, even for a technophobe like me! I had a problem as I couldn't seem to find a confirmation of the booking at all, so I emailed Trivago and heard back from them within a day telling me to check my spam filter.. And there it was! Very impressed overall.

A must use for traveling!

I recently used Trivago for my trip to Thailand, it was super easy and we got a great deal on the hotel we stayed at. We had a great stay in a perfect location with no hassles, I would highly recommend it.

Easy to use- the best of its kind

I always go to Trivago when exploring options for potential holidays as I feel it gives the best price comparisons and offers a wide selection of hotels, allowing you to browse them easily and make your selection. I used it when booking hotels for a trip across Vietnam and was able to save up to 50%- the process couldn't have been easier as it took me directly to the third party booking site which then handled the booking side of things and issued the booking voucher. I would definitely recommend Trivago, especially as it is more established than its more recent competitors.

Fast and easy to use

Booked using trivago.co.uk for my last business trip to Blackpool, and it worked perfect actually. Quick and easy to use; filters were clear and helpful; and found a good deal. Would recommend it and would use it again!

Great website

Went on trivago to book a weekend in York in March for me and my girlfriend. We managed to find a fairly central hotel for just under £60 a night that had good ratings on the site and so we went through and booked with a company called Venere. No problems at all, very quick and easy to use - would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Anniversary break booked !

Having noticed that trivago has a new advert I decided to have a go to see if could find the perfect hotel for me as the advert suggests! . I was looking for a hotel in Oxford for a family celebration but as it is also our wedding anniversary whilst we are away I wanted a hotel a short distance away from Oxford where the rest of the family will be. I liked the filters on the trivago site which helped me see the ratings and distance from the city centre. I was looking for a romantic hotel and was easily able to find a lovely hotel which has excellent reviews from couples. I was redirected to the Booking.com site where I was pleased to see that not only could I book the room for a great saving I didn't have to pay anything up front. I would really recommend trivago for the speed and ease of finding the hotel that matches your needs, I saved money and have a fab short break to look forward to.

Great saving on a weekend in London

I used trivago to book three nights in the Hilton at Wembley via Hotels.com for a weekend away with a friend in March. We'd never used the site before so were really pleased as we saved just under £30 each night which left us more money to spend when we were there! I was a little confused about the total price as trivago shows it per night when it gives your search results but when you go over to the booking website you can see the total pretty easily. Overall the site was easy to use and gave us a good saving - would happily recommend to others!

AVOID TRIVAGO

I booked my Xmas break with clever-hotels-com who were recommended by Trivago it was unusual to be asked to pay in full so far in advance but they must be ok because Trivago had recommended them (How Wrong I Was) a few weeks after placing the booking and paying i received an email saying they had gone bust, so i had to rebook direct with the hotel and pay again in full when i arrived. Trivago were very apologetic but said it was nothing to do with them and they weren't even paid commission by the hotels they recommend.

Be VERY CAREFUL when using this site

I wanted to book rooms at the Bull Inn in Sonning. According to Trivago Expedia & Venere offered the best deals. I clicked on Expedia & was transferred to their web sight to book. Part way through the process I noticed that I was actually booking rooms at the Bull Inn at Stanford Dingley. I repeated the process with Venere with the same result. I then clicked on the Booking.com button. This took me to their sight where the offer was for The Bull Inn at Streatley!
Had I not spotted these errors I could well have turned up at Sonning only to be told that I didn't have a booking.
I did email Trivago with my problem but, of course, did not receive a reply.

Absolute disgrace can't believe they are allowed operate in Ireland!

Where do I start I booked through Travigo 09th Sept money was deducted immediately from my account so I took it for granted I had a room booked for that date. To my surprise when I arrived at the hotel I was told the hotel had been booked out and we had to be transferred to a gloried hostel to be polite! It was embarrassing to say the least at it was supposed to be a birthday gift and was the worst experience I have ever had booking online. I do a bit of travelling and can say it was a terrible experience and really messed up the weekend. We didn't feel safe where we ended up staying if I wanted to stay in a run down hotel I wouldn't have paid €153 for it. Also I have emailed the supposed customer service and haven't yet received a response and quite frankly its just not good enough. So please do not book with Travigo you will only loose your good earned money!

Dear Caroline,

Thank you for your comment and my I am sorry to hear you have had a negative experience with your reservation.

However, trivago is a hotel price comparison website and doesn't actually have any involvement in the making of the booking.

I have been unable to find your email on our system but if you would like to get in touch with our team, you can do so at info@trivago.co.uk, and we will be happy to assist you further.

Couldn't be any more helpful

I was going to Amsterdam for my 18th birthday we had booked the hotel through their own website (which was so stupid of me) so once I got there the hotel decided to tell me I didn't have a booking etc. when I had been speaking to them through email with the confirmation number within the emails. Then the hotel told me aww well we have no rooms left anyway, so once I got out the hotel I was so gutted I phoned my mum who phoned trivago for me and then I phoned myself the first person I spoke to wasn't the most helpful but I ended up not he phone to a woman who sorted everything out for me I couldn't have been any more happy with it, from the disgusting budget hotel I booked myself to the Hampton by Hilton I would definitely recommend anyone to use trivago due to my experience

Great service that made for a great trip!

I have used Trivago.co.uk a number of times. I've stayed in recommended places in London, Edinburgh and Paris. I was able to tailor what I was looking for easily and what I booked lived up to my expectations and more.

I enjoy staying in clean, well priced rooms that are near the action in any city. The site helped me do that and find some hidden gems as I like to change it up from the big-name hotels from time-to time.

I will be using this service for my next trip to Prague over Hallloween. I have already spotted a great place near the old town that they recommend. I will review my experience after that also!

To get the most out of the service, have an idea what you like and your price range. Then you will definitely be satisfied with what you book.

Unreliable - BEWARE!

Honeymooning throughout SE Asia, found the app to be very tedious to use, always & continually forgetting search parameters, but apart from their cheap app development, IT IS VERY UNRELIABLE & CAN COST YOU MONEY!

We are currently in Thailand & booked accomodation through Travago at 'Bang Tao Beach, Phuket' only to find the booking was 90 minutes away from our Bang Tao Beach, so we lost our money!

Current booking through Travago, the app States it's 800 metres from 'Chiang Mai' city centre, it's actually 10 kilometres!

They also use useless & worthless booking companies like 'otel.com'! While we tried over & over again to book unsuccessfully through these clowns, we lost the deal entirely!

So please check every single detail of every single booking through Travago as they are obviously more interested in getting commissions than any service they are supposed to provide!

One week in London

Two weeks ago I was in London for one week. It was my first time using trivago, I will do again! They have many offers, I just needed a few minute to find a good one. £90 in the Doubletree with a perfect connection to the center.
I am happy!

Any competence

Infinite time waiting for their response. Then they reply and say: "you are not right - full stop" without demonstrating their declaration. You try to ask 'how can you say so having our opposite evidences?' and they... they close the communication with you!
Poor expertise for such a publicized company!
