Like everyone else I bought a t-shirt and hoody from t-shirt ville in January as a present for my bf. It is now end of April and has been over 3 months. After a few weeks I sent an email to them asking when my items would be arriving and got the same crap about supplier not delivered yet etc. that everyone else has. I tried all numbers available and they didn't work.
I have asked for a refund and I will wait and see. If I don't get a refund I will be contacting the appropriate authorities as this site is stealing peoples money. I'm a student and money just doesn't grow on trees, I have since had to rebuy said items from another site and therefore have spent more money than needed.
Don't trust this site!!
Tshirtsville have taken my money and I have no received my merchandise, I sent them 2 emails and only one of which was replied to telling me that the "suppliers was delayed" and I have not received a reply to my email asking for a refund but "Jim" hasn't replied since.
None of the telephone numbers are working and they are not replying so I'm taking it upon myself to take the appropriate legal action against this scamming company, it's not alot of money but by the looks of things they are getting away with this one time too many.
Do not buy from tshirtsville!!
I ordered and paid a t-shirt in August '12. 'Jim' informed me that it was delayed at the supplier and it was coming in a few weeks. 24 e-mails (!!) and several months later, still nothing. In teh beginning 'Jim' replied to my e-mails and he now stopped doing so at all. I asked for a cancellation or a refund multiple times, no respond.
Don't trust these guys!
Ordered a t-shirt 76 days ago. Same as many people here, had the same excuse off "Jim". Now my emails asking for a refund are being ignored, and the phone numbers are dead.
It looks like we've all been scammed. Or the company have gone bust. I don't think we'll be getting a refund. I wouldn't mind going to the building where they operate/operated from to see what's going on.
I placed an order for 5 t-shirts on the 30th of November 2012. The full payment was taken off my card immediately. When I had not received shipping/tracking info I sent an email asking for details. I was given the same excuse by Jim that they were waiting for stock from the supplier and they expected to be able to send the order by the 14th of December. I sent follow up emails on 04/12/202, 21/12/2012, 24/01/2013, 19/02/2013, 02/04/2013, 04/04/2013, 07/04/2013, 08/04/2013 and 12/04/2013. Jim replied to the first three emails giving the same excuse of a delay from the supplier. However the emails sent in the last three weeks have just been ignored. I did double check that no emails have gone into my spam folder. I am now incredibly frustrated and will not rest until I have resolution! It is clear from this forum and several others that this happens all too often! They have happily taken my money and at this stage do not seem to want to even send me a response, let alone give me the t-shirts I paid for! I have now contacted the Citizens Advise Consumer Service as well as the Trading Standards Institute. If I do not get a refund by this Friday I will be contacting local authorities! This is now the principle of the matter and I will not go away until I get my money back!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE 5 May 2013:
After several emails and attempted phone calls I eventually opened a criminal case on the http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ website. I also contacted the property agent for Studio House where the website says they are based. He has confirmed that Tshirtsville moved out two years ago with no forwarding contact details. So their website details are wrong which explains why no-one can get hold of them. Within minutes of sending an email to Tshirtsville telling them of my criminal report, I got the following email:
We are very sorry about the recent level of service. Sadly our management has left taking the sales & customer data and access to accounts and emails with them.
We are working to restore this data so that we can refund all customers. All sales have been suspended. Please be assured that any of our customers that have not received their goods will be refunded as soon as we can recover the sales data and recover access to our accounts.
We have received your email and will contact you when we can refund you. Please be assured of that. You will not lose your money over this. All customers will be refunded.
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this difficult time amd we unreservedly apologise for the stress and upset that you may have experienced as a result of this trouble.
We will be in contact with you shortly to resolve this and refund you if a refund is due.
Sorry guys, we really are.
The email comes from the same email address (email@example.com) I've been sending all my mails to, so I wonder why they couldn't reply sooner? In every mail I sent to them I included my order number with the initial order confirmation that included the exact order and payment details. So even if the customer data was lost, I had already provided it again several times. I appreciate that we finally got some sort of response, but will not be happy until I have my full refund!
In my criminal report I referenced this site so that the police could see that this has not only happened to me.
Update 06 June 2013: I received a mail saying there was new management and that we needed to reqest a refund via our banks. I sent them a mail informing them that my bank could not refund me as the transaction had happened too long ago. I was subsequently contacted by someone named Phil who has so far been very helpful. He has directed me to a site to choose replacements for the out of stock items and has ordered them for me. Looks like Phil is someone who can finally sort this out! Holding thumbs!!!!
Do not oder from this website unless you are happy with waiting until the next millenium to receive your item(s). You can try emailing Jimbo the incompetent moron that "runs" the website, but you will be lucky to even get a reply:
I ordered tshirts from tshirtville in December 2012. Paid by credit card and received email confirmation of my order. I waited for the goods and nothing. When checking my order with the company Jim told me they were on back order and would be supplied soon and to be patient. It is now March and nothing. I have asked for a refund and not received it. I will now go to the relevant authorities to tell my story which seems to be the same as others. This company gives online shopping a bad name.
I have ordered a t-shirt as a present fr Christmas on November and I'm still waiting. Jim answers to my emails and tell me to wait...
After reading your comments I'm afraid to never receive anything, so I will ask for a refund and I hope to be refunded....
Do not use this company. Having waited 2 months for a Tshirt paid for at the beginning of December and having been told by "Jim" that they had run out of stock and were expecting more I have still not received the goods. The company now does not even respond to emails. I will now take up this with PayPal and Trading Standards. Do not use this company.
I ordered one T shirt from this site just before Christmas on this site as a present for my Dad.It said on the site that it would be here in 5 to 8 days unless told otherwise and I would be emailed throughout the process.
Two weeks later I still had no T shirt but had heard nothing so I emailed this so called 'Jim' who told me it was out of stock (which I should have been told from the start). I was assured that I would have the T shirt in 21 days if I was prepared to wait.What followed was numerous weeks of getting blown off by 'Jim' everytime I asked the whereabouts of my Tshirt.
I finally asked for a refund at the start of February and I am still waiting.This site is clearly a money stealing fake and unless I get a refund I will be contcting authorities.Its only 30euro but websites should not be allowed to steal money from people who are just innocently trying to buy a piece of clothing online.Absolute liars who should have more respect.
I placed an order on 13 August 2012, and now it's already 20 Dec. 2012, I still have not got any of my t-shirts. This order cost me 97.20 pounds included shipping fees.
As many of you experienced, the reasons were 'out of stock' (then why do you show in stock on your website?), 'suppliers delay' and something like that. A few days ago I decided to cancel the order and get the money back since I don't think I will get any of these clothing, so I sent two e-mails, and unsurprisingly, Jim ignored those e-mails.
Today I tried to phone them up; however, all the phone numbers provided on their website are not working!!! Now I really think this site is just a scan which wants to screw your money. BE CAREFUL!
I will contact police and post the bad experience I met on more rating sites if they keep ignoring my cancellation and refuse to return my money back.
Got full refund today in the morning.
I ordered 5 shirts from tshirtsville.com in April 2012.
I have not recived anything yet. I tried too contact them on there email several times, and every time i get the same answer. Shirts are out of stock, and they are expecting them in 2-3 weeks.
6 months have now past. And i have asked for my money back 3 times. Now they dont even answer me anymore.
DO NOT ORDER form this site.
I ordered some T-shirts on February.
After more than 2 months waiting I asked for a refund on May. After this, I had to ask again for the refund in 5 different emails. My last 2 emails were not answered and, obviously, my refund is not done.
UPDATE: After leaving here my comment, Tshirtsville managed my refund and now it's finally done. Thanks.
Bestilte d. 27-1-12 3 t-shirts, og idag d. 23-2-12 har jeg endnu intet modtaget....Men sjovt nok så var de lynhurtige med at trække pengene - allerede dagen efter bestillingen.
Jeg har spurgt et par gange om hvornår jeg kan forvente at modtage mine t-shirts og hvergang er de fulde af undskyldninger. "Vi har opdateret hjemmeside, så beklager den lange ventetid" , "vores leverandør kan først levere d 3-3" osv osv......
Og de lover på deres hjemmeside at man får en gratis t-shirt, hvis man linker til deres shop via sin hjemmeside, facebook o.lign....Men her næsten en måned senere, har jeg stadig ikke kunnet få et svar på om de har godkendt det link, som jeg har lagt ind på min facebook - og jeg har spurgt 3 gane om det udløser den lovede t-shirt. De svarer på al muligt andet, end det man spørger om.
Nu har jeg i forgårs bedt om at annullere ordren og dette har de selvfølgelig ikke svaret på endnu.....Så gad vide om jeg overhovedet får enten t-shirts eller pengene retur.
UPDATE : Har d. 27-2 fået mine penge retur....
Bestilte en t-shirt, hvor pengene blev trukket med det samme. Men efter 12 dage ingen t-shirt, ingen info om ordrestatus.
Fandt så et engelsk forum, hvor mange havde været ude for, at deres ordre aldrig var kommet videre, og når de kontaktede firmaet, var der lidet eller ingen respons med diverse undskyldninger, og flere skulle 'kæmpe' for at få deres penge tilbage.
Jeg kontaktede derfor 'Jim' med en klar besked om min begrundelse for bekymring, og som ventet var der lange udsigter til at jeg kunne få min t-shirt idet 'leverandørens levering er blevet forsinket'. Sjovt nok i 29 dage fra min ordre - i England er der en 30 dages grænse for, hvornår en kunde kan kræve ordren annulleret!
Heldigvis endte det med at jeg fik pengene retur hurtigt efter at have annulleret ordren.
