You often find that when the price is too good to be true the service is very poor however Tweeks Cycles have bucked the trend and delivered my new shoes very quickly and at a great price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them agian, very impressed!
I searched the net for some Maxxis Ignitors yesterday over lunch and found Tweeks to be the cheapest. I've had experience with Demon Tweeks in the past from motorsport days so saw them as a trust worthy source.
I was in no rush for the tyres so didn't feel the need for express delivery and thought the 2 - 3 working days, free delivery to be enough. When arriving at work the following day (this morning) at just gone 8am, the tyres were delivered.

I ordered a mountain bike helmet as a birthday gift for my partner. The helmet arrived soon enough and in good condition but it was slightly too big so he phoned Tweeks Customer Service telephone number to organise an exchange for the smaller sized helmet. His and subsequently my experience with the adviser verged on bizarre as she struggled to understand the most basic information. He then discovered that to exchange the helmet, the original one had to be returned to them at his own cost before another would be dispatched. I discovered this policy only pertains to the push bike products/helmets and if you order a motorbike helmet and require it to be exchanged, collection is organised and paid for by the company. We were advised that it should only be approximately £3.00 second class and the other helmet would be posted to us at no cost. It actually cost £7.50 to post the helmet second class. The adviser's line was very much 'why should we?' which is a very short sighted attitude as they've definitely lost a customer. You can buy their products elsewhere so when shopping online the thing that separates one company from another is their customer service- Tweeks seems to be seriously lacking.
I bought a set of SRAM X4 Trigger Shifter Set 8 Speed which the website said was in stock. After hearing nothing for over 10 days regarding delivery I called up tweeks who said that the Item was not available for another 1.5 months. There was no sign of them calling me to notify me of this considering the item was supposed to be in stock when the order was placed, offered nothing in terms of a replacement, only a refund. disappointing.
I've ordered three things from Tweeks, all small cycling accessories. Ordering has been simple and easy, their prices have always been cheaper than anywhere else, processing and postage has been VERY quick and speedy, I have had no cause to return an item but I feel that it would be an easy process if I needed to, paperwork is clear and simple and the items have always been as described. There's nothing here not to like. An enjoyable and easy process. I thoroughly recommend!
I bought the bike for a competitive price at the end of January/beggining of February and was expecting delivery to take up to a week as the standard delivery option indicated it would. On the 12th, a week after ordering the bike, I got an email saying the bike wouldn't be in stock until the 13th March - over a month after ordering the bike! I saw no indication at all when ordering the bike that it wasn't in stock and was a bit annoyed.
Today is the 20th March and I today got an email saying they are still waiting for stock to arrive but it should be there soon and then they'll build it and send it out to me. I'm pretty annoyed now just because I am going to receive the bike 2 months after I've bought it!
I've spoken to customer service and they seem nice but fairly helpless in this situation... I just wish I had know how long I would have to wait! I would have just paid 50 quid more to get it when I ordered it!
We received the wrong product from Tweeks Cycles. This then became our problem to resolve in terms of returning the item (& paying for postage). It's bad enough that basic mistakes like this are made, but to then take the attitude that the correct product won't be supplied until the incorrect one - that we don't even want - has arrived back at their building is not good, to say the least.
Retailing over the internet relies first on foremost on trust; hard to win and easily lost. I would never use Tweeks again and would recommend you to use Wiggle or Chain Reaction instead, who have been nothing other than excellent in my experience.
Had to phone up to check to see if the item listed was exactly what I needed and the staff were really helpful and polite. I also got by far the best price around for the product I was buying. I placed my order and received it to days later. Will definitely be shopping from them in the future.
Didn't even need to check anywhere else, found what I wanted instantly at the right price with free P&P. I only bought a chain catcher, small item, less than a tenner but exactly what I wanted and perfectly packaged. Easy.
the guys at tweeks bend over backwards to help you out, they have great prices, usualy the cheapest online, loads of stock and fast delivery, couldn't ask for more

Unfortunately my experience mirrors that of Dominic Sayers following an order for a bike ordered for my daughter's birthday a month in advance.
Payment was up front despite no stock being held and no clear indication of final delivery. After numerous, inconclusive communications the order has been cancelled as we have been left with no faith in Tweeks ability to supply.
Still awaiting a refund.
just brought my new scott voltage fr20 from these guys , great ! . bike was delivered within 48 hours as promised, unboxed the bike and to my dissapointment the frame had a chip on it , i emailed customer support and showed a guy called chris the damage and he asked me what i would like them to do for me , as wrexham isnt near i was provided much to my pleasure with a set of mtb shoes !

I first used tweeks cycles via their ebay shop as their list price was around 20% cheaper than the same item listed elswhere both on line and on ebay. The goods were dispatched fast and the item delivered the following day. Great service. I have since been back to the tweeks cycles website and ordered further items on line as the products and brands they stock are quality and at very competitive prices. I would recommend tweeks cycles to friends and family.

freehub developed a bad wobble. So i thought Ill ring tweeks to get it fixed.
Spoke to a lad called Matt he said you can send it to us we will fix for free but you will be without your bike for a while he said could be 2 weeks worst case. But what you can do is find a local Scott dealer and they should honor Scott warranty as i don't live near Wrexham. So I ring Alans Bikes in Wigan get this lad who said parts will be free but they will charge for labour. "But its under warranty" i said. "Erm its a grey area"he said.
I ring Matt back at Tweeks. What a very very helpful fella he is.
"Ok he said we will pick rear wheel up. Have you got a box and when is good for you?".
" Anytime is good for me and I can box it up".
He said ill ring you back. 10 mins later he said we can pick it up tomorrow morning(Tuesday).
Wednesday I get a call from another helpful, friendly compos mentis tweeks employee. Saying its fixed and ill send it back today.
Thursday I get my wheel back in working order.
3 days, what fantastic service.
While I will not be going to tweeks shop as its not local. I have no hestitation in recommending them to other people when buying a new bike and would definaltey buy a new bike again from them in future. I wrote this review as its very hard to find quality aftersales service. Also I would like to thank the tweeks staff i delt with as you were superb. Customer support on the phone is a thankless job. I know I have done it. You deserve a good review.
After a lot of online research, I found that Tweeks Cycles came out comfortably ahead on price compared to its competitors. I hadn't used Tweeks before but took the plunge even though I was spending a fair bit of money on some new wheels. Delivery was very quick and secure and the new Shimano wheels were really well packaged to give them a lot of protection. I'll probably look at the Tweeks website first of all in future when comparing prices.
This is one of the best services i have ever used online! i ordered the stem at 4.30pm on Tuesday... it arrived at 12.30 the next day! To top it off the postage and packaging was completely free! I did a google search and choose this product because it was the cheapest i could find at only £31.98, a good £5.00 cheaper than Ribble and Wiggle cycles. Would definitely use this service again for the very competitive prices, great customer service and super fast delivery. Thank you.
It is refreshing to find such a store. Apart from some carbon bar ends I also required some carbon handlebar plugs and a Ritchey head-set cap which was not in stock. The proprietor took the time to ring round and find me one... a considerable amount of effort for a few pounds.
