- They charged me 85 pounds extra for a key I had to purchase through them and in the end didn't give me the key!!
- They "forgot" to put a nut back on and still haven't returned it.
- They put the winter tyres on but not balance the tyres..
- Kept sending bills while already being paid.
When I tried to phone them they did not answer, and by email the only response was "sorry to hear about your bad luck".. my bad luck?? You mean bad service!!
This company attempted to refunded my paypal account but money FAILED to clear their bank account. They will NOT reply to emails, will NOT answer the phone or will NOT reply to my left messages. In the hands of paypal/credit card company BEWARE THESE CROOKS!!!!
Tyreshop mobile have been out to me twice now. Once to my home address to check my tyres out when i had a screw in them and the other when they came to my work place when i had a slow puncture. After speaking to them on Facebook on the evening they were at my work place by 10:00 the next morning. They have given me a friendly, professional and reliable service with no fuss and no drama. The next time i rang Brendon was on behalf of my boss who had a slow puncture on her tyre. I rang at 08.30 and they were there within 2 hours.
What more can you ask for?
I have now used Tyre Shop Mobile on three occasions and each time they have been professional, communicated at all times to advise what time they would be arriving, carried out a fantastic job and they even did not charge me on one occasion!
I have booked the jobs required by phone and on the Internet and even got a phone call to say they could do the job earlier than what I had booked after booking on-line!
Brendan is a real star and both he and Tom are always really helpful! I would recommend Tyre Shop Mobile to anyone.
I ordered some new tyres for the front of my Audi - got a great price and next day availability (even Audi dealer couldn't offer that).
Arranged fitting at my home after work. No problem.
Then I worked late, forgot about the tyres being fitted and only remembered about 20 minutes before they were due. I called, told them of the issue and guess what. No problem - he came to my office instead. Great service.
P.S. I've just read some negative reviews on here - they don't sound great (nasty competitors maybe???) but my experience has been fantastic. I will use again...
Having googled a tyre repair company and calling them, Brendon came straight back with a time to visit me on the same day at home. Early evening appointment was kept and the service was exceptional with a polite and professional delivery. Tyre saved and no additional expense - Price as quoted. Top job and would recommend to anyone looking to use this company.
I've bought 2 quality tyre's fully fitted for a fair price.
Fitting was well organized and arranged around my work, I've got my car back within 30 minutes with 2 new tyre's on - cheap, fast, excellent quality all together. Fully recommend.
I ordered a set of 4 Maxxis tyres, these guys were the only ones who had any 'in stock'. The next day they contacted me to confirm that they had dispatched a group of employees to a warehouse 'to find the tyres in amongst 20,000 others'. Needless to say they were not in stock. I was then told that these would be replaced by 4 x Continental Accelera tyres (no evidence of such a tyre on the net). What arrived were 4 x Landsail tyres, a cheap Chinese tyre that again no-one (on the net) seemed to have heard of. In the meantime I paid using PayPal (£435) and was told that the payment hadn't gone through (by PayPal and my bank) but it had. So I paid again using a debit card. That's £870 for 4 Chinese branded tyres. Here I am three weeks later having finally been refunded by PayPal (after 12 days) and I am still chasing a £200 refund promised by these guys. They have apparently sent three cheques to me in that time. At least they return my calls but I get the feeling they are waiting me out!! Annoyed doesn't even come close. Avoid!!!
I ordered four run flat Avons via the internet. I was contacted by phone almost immediately and a fitting date arranged, I was told that the Avons were out of stock and offered an alternative, which I accepted. On the morning of the appointment I was contacted to tell me that the tyres had not been delivered to the depot. No problem for me as I work from home and an alternative date was arranged. On the day of fitting I was again contacted and told that the tyres had still not been delivered but that I would be given an alternative which was £40 per tyre more exspensive than the ones I ordered at no extra cost. Later the fitter arrived and job completed. Why have I given 5*? As far as I'm concerned communication was excellent. OK there was delay but it didn't bother me, what's more important is that I was updated along the way and eventually I was more than satisfied with the end result. I would use again.
I ordered before 1pm expecting next day delivery...5 days later im asking for a refund, I called them several times, they dont return calls when they say they will, They claim they tried but couldnt get through Also that the delivery company have tried for 2-3 days to deliver...Someone was in all the time and no delivery notice left.
Truly dreadful communication let down a friendly efficient fitting service and cost me who knows what in phone bills.(They turned up on the wrong day!)
My advice is the fitter to go it alone, the lads in the office do you no favours whatsoever.
Called in the morning to confirm fitting time. This was not kept to. Had to make another 3 calls, each time was promised a call back which did not happen. Finally chased a 4th time and the fitter turned up - 4 hours late.
The customer services side was frustrating and a waste of my time. The actual fitting was seamless and over in 10 minutes. This only adds to the disappointment that appointments are not adhered to.
Perhaps a rare example compared to other reviews but felt let down all the same.
Can only say I'm pleased with service, they called on day to say they hadn't got the tyres, I said I was away for weekend and they came next day with my tyres and fitted them at my holiday location, based on this I would certainly use them again
Ordered Two premium tyres for delivery and paid on their website. Got an email later to say tyres out of stock. They offered some Chinese tyres for the same price and claimed in there own words " these are slightly better !". I cancelled order. Despite emails and a phone call they won't return the money. They don't have the stock they advertise Stay well clear.
Ordered tyre fitting service; got an e-mail an hour or so later to tell me that they had cancelled my order as they had no vans in my area (no mention of this geographical limitation on website). Money had already been taken off my credit card by this point; despite claims that a refund had been processed, 8 days later, I am still waiting for this refund.
The fitter arrived and was very pleasant and respectful to my car!
I only required 1 tyre, but he didn't make me feel that I was any less of a customer, even though it weas a small order, which made me feel a lot better!
He even washed down all four wheels to make them all look shiny and new again!
Decided to use Tyreshopmobile again when switching tyres back from winters (see review from 23/10/11). Booked online on the Monday for the following Saturday. Not received a phone call to say if coming or not but on the Saturday I had booked at 8.40 a.m. the tyre fitter arrives! Job done in less than half an hour (same tyre fitter as before).
Will use company again to change tyres when needed.
Company took all of my details, including postcode, I even payed for the tyre I was after but the next day I received an email cancelling my order because they had no mobile fitting service in my area! How this was missed when I entered my postcode is beyond me.
I live approx ten miles from brighton and within half an hour of London so which areas exactly they cover will remain a mystery to me. Useless.

Ordered four tyres to be fitted three weeks ahead, my order was cancelled the day before they were scheduled to be fitted with no communication or explanation from the company. It then took two weeks to get a refund through Paypal. Absolutely disgusting.
I placed my order got a confirmation e-mail that all paid in full etc. They were due to arrive the next day, waited in all day and they never showed up. No call was made to me and when i called their customer service number it said it was an invalid number!! In fact despite their advertised hours regardless of what option you press within their hours no one ever answers the phone!
I then received an e-mail simply saying order cancelled! No other information just cancelled! Now I am down £158 as of course they took my money and provided no service at all. Steer well clear of these people!
Despite the Tyre Shop stating on their website that "We are able to fit Run-flats, Tyrone Bands, tyres up to 26 inches and low profile tyres all from our fully equipped mobile fitting units" I found this to be false!! I paid £30.65 for 2 tyres to be fitted on the 9th June and by the morning of the 10th my money had been refunded in full because I was supposedly outside their radius of fitting service, when it clearly states on their website that they cover NORTHAMPTON!! Then I was told that NORTHAMPTON was NOT within the 50 mile radius of Milton Keynes!! Anyway when I pointed out that Northampton was no more than 15 miles away from Milton Keynes I was told to purchase another fitting service and they would fit my tyres. On 14th June, I paid a total of £30.65 again for 2 tyres to be fitted, I received a email conformation that I would be contacted in due course. On Weds 15th June I received a call @ 11:21am about the fitting of my tyres, I was told by the man that he would arrive at my property at just after 1pm, I asked the man if he realised that he was coming to fit 26" tyres and he seemed dismayed!! He said he would call me back. I received a call from the shifty manager Mr Shilton and he apologised stating that the only way they could fit my tyres was if the took them away!! Anyway because I realised that they wasn't fit to carry out the service that they boasted about on their website, I told them not to worry about it, could they just refund the monies I paid in full. Mr Shilton said my money would be refunded in full, but I had to call him several times for my refund, he kept saying it had to go through their system or something to that effect, which was just a ploy to stall me, because I was given a full refund within less than 24 hours when I paid on the 9th June!! Anyway since then, Mr Shilton has put the phone down on me and has refuse to refund my money, so I decided to contact Paypal, It took a total of 6 weeks to get the refund back!!!
I couldn't believe how the price of tyres had rocketed and was considering having to purchase a cheaper brand until I stumbled across tyreshopmobile.co.uk .
The price was good and delivery was swift. Even paying £10 each at my local tyre fitter they worked out at nearly HALF the price quoted by the quick people.
My wife's new car had a puncture due to a large nail in the nearside rear tyre. I rang a couple of garages but they expressed little interest for a prompt repair. I sent an email to tyreshop mobile a prompt reply with estimated cost and a promise to come the next day. They kept the promise and rolled up with a fully equipped van - very impressive.They carried out the repair - I paid - everyone happy
Despite placing my order late in the afternoon I had email confirmation that someone would be with me the next day. A telephone call was received from the fitter the next morning to give an ETA. This didn't happen though due to a problem with their vehicle. Not to worry I was given an apology and a revised ETA.... Unfortunately this too was put back due to the aformentioned breakdown being more problematic than was originally thought.
A final call was made to me about 6pm and a very apologetic fitter turned up around 7pm. By way of recompense for the inconvenience I was given an unsolicited upgrade on the tyres I'd originally ordered, which was a very nice gesture.
Breakdowns happen, and I was kept informed about the situation regularly to minimise the inconvenience. Overall very pleased by the communications, workmanship and customer relations. I would definately use them again and have already recommended them to a couple of people.
Having trusted the Tyreshop, I ordered a "Run Flat" tyre, it was brought to my attention by my garage that this was a standard tyre.
Having paid more for the "Run Flat" I contacted the Tyreshop to advise them they had fitted the wrong tyre, despite several calls and e-mails they have not responded back to rectify the issue.
Do not buy from this company they will not be interested once they have your money!!
I ordered the tyres set, order was confirmed, two days later I got the order cancellation that the tyres are not available.
Short check, and it was available, just with the almost two times price increase.
Well, I'm not sure if this is intentional misleading, or just incompetency, the final effect is same:
Very friendly staff completed the work. The wheel balancing was very poor though, so I had to request that someone revisit me to re-balance the wheel. It took three days for someone to visit me to re-balance the wheels and they are still not perfect.
