Don't normally review but these guys earned one...
Having trawled websites trying to find a good retailer that also offered good prices, (whilst not turning out to be a bunch of cowboys) I came across UK Digital Cameras. Their price on the Fujifilm X100S was competitive and I bit the bullet and ordered from them. Communication was excellent and the item arrived exactly as specified. Really impressed by their service. I also bugged them via their online chat thingy and they were quick, clear and helpful. I would use them again and recommend to all. It's a minefield deciding which online retailers to use these days, especially with digital equipment, so it is a relief to find one that turns out to deserve all the positive reviews. Thank you.

Restored my faith in internet shopping
Having just had a really bad experience with an internet company UK Digital Cameras have restored my faith. Superb service, goods exactly as described, arrived quickly and the courier sent a text to say what time the parcel wouild be delivered. 10 out of 10 and would recommend to anyone.

Under-promise, over-deliver
I got the insurance money form losing my old camera on Wednesday. I knew what I wanted - the Canon Powershot S50 - and had worked out that this company had it at a price about £40 less than other suppliers. On Thursday, I ordered online - about 9.00am. I thought about taking the express delivery option, but decided to save the £10. By 4pm that day, I got a text saying to expect delivery on the Friday. On Friday I got another saying to expect delivery between 12 and 1. About 12.10, my wife called to say it had arrived. Brilliant...everything was in order, and there was a money-off wine voucher into the bargain that hadn't been mentioned. And I gather they pay UK tax, unlike certain online retailers...

after service proficient & speedy
Tz30 lumix faulty zoom repaired quickly with regular e- mail notifications on progress well done only one point uk digital çameras are not open after 4 if you are collecting or calling into permises even though web site shows opening hours trading till 5pm they are closed after 4 with phone line operator manning line till 5 so avoid wasted journey as i did .

Quality service at its best
I had looked at other sellers before choosing to buy my Panasonic FZ200 from ukdigital cameras. It was only after reading the favourable reviews for this company that I made my decision. The prompt and efficient manner in which my order was dealt with was a joy. I was advised on what day and at what time to expect my delivery, I was advised that there was a delay likely - this no doubt due to the snow in the area. The courier, however, arrived at the original time - a credit to him. I would highly recommend ukdigital cameras to anyone considering purchasing from this company.

The best internet shopping experience I have ever had!
I wanted to trade my old camera in against a Panasonic Lumix FZ150, and the procedure to do so was simple. The price for my old camera was given within 24 hours and I then phoned Holly to order my new camera. The new camera arrived by DPD within 2 days and the courier let me know exactly what date it would arrive, and on the day let me know the time to within an hour. I sent my old camera back, and within 2 working days of UKDC receiving it, I was credited with the amount agreed. All in all, it was a great shopping experience, and I would recommend UKDC to anyone.

A breath of fresh air
For some time I have been watching the price of the Canon S100 and waiting for a good price. I particularly wanted to buy it from a UK supplier so as to not have any difficulty with warranty should anything occur. UK Digital Cameras looked like a worthy supplier. Having checked the reviews as I would normally I notice only 5 star feedback.
So I thought I would give it a go. Unfortunately due a problem with the delivery company my camera didn't arrive as expected on the Tuesday. So I email UK Digital Cameras and got a response promptly and a further email where they escalated this.
Problems occur but its how they are dealt with is what counts, and the professional whilst still human approach from UK Digital Cameras speaks volumes for them.
So here another 5 star review, hopefully the price of the Lumix GH3 comes down so I can make another purchase from them

Ordered a new camera and mine came snappy
Was on the web site last Thursday when my computer crashed.
I wanted to order the camera that day so I phoned and got an answering service advising me that "all lines were busy" but if I lest my contact number someone would get back to me.
Within 10 minutes of me putting the phone down HOLLY contacted me.
I told her my problem, and she said that we could complete the transaction over the phone. Went thru all the details, and was then advised that I just missed Next Day Delivery, and that it would now be a Monday delivery. I asked Holly to see what she could do . . . . . the camera arrived next day 24 hrs after I had ordered it.
Now that's what I call service.

Seventh Heaven ! My new Panasonic Lumix FZ200
I have just bought my seventh camera camera from Uk Digital Cameras and like the importance of the number 7 it is Perfect. I like to update my cameras from time to time and the Part Exchange system is really good and fair, any problems are very quickly corrected. I have spoken to quite a few people in the Sales department over the years and they have always been so helpful, cheerful and encouraging. I have always bought Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ or FX series as for me they do all I want them to do and I can't wait to get familiar with all the new features on my latest camera, the Perfect Lumix FZ200.

Good value highly efficient service
I'd already decided on the camera I wanted, a Panasonic dmc-FZ 150, so rang UK Digital Cameras to sort out a package. They kindly allowed me to vary one of their fixed package deals, and the camera was delivered the following day. An excellent service all round!

Super Duper 1st Class Service
I wanted to change from a Nikon sp510 and decided to go with the Canon sx50 hs. I contacted UKDC to see if they would take my sd510 in part exchange, the positive reply was quick and the order process easy. I recieved my nice new sx50 the day after ordering and the refund from my sp510 was in my bank within a couple of days.
I would recomend UKDC to anyone without a second thought, they are friendly, helpful and offer a super duper 1st class service.
Should I require a future upgrade you can bet it will be with UKDC

A very happy customer
This was my second transaction with UKDC. I recently upgraded my SX40 HS to SX50 HS and I am very pleased with my new camera. The exchange and purchase process was quick and efficient. Prompt delivery and easy to use site
I had originally ordered this camera from amazon but it couldn't deliver until mid February which was too late for me so I googled the camera I wanted and found your site. I hadn't heard of your site but you offered the camera for the same lowest price I could find on amazon and you could deliver as early as the next day. I chose the two day delivery service and received plenty of delivery updates which was helpful for my mum who was waiting in for the delivery. I will definitely use this site again should I need to buy anything else for the camera.

Great service with added extras
I recieved my camera just 24 hours after ordering it over the Christmas New Year period. What great service, I had a great deal with the camera with added extras for a very small price increase such as camera case & memory card. Simply Stunning
As always, I take plenty of time when considering the purchase of anything involving technology - no one wants to buy something that is superceded by a superior device within the first few months of ownership. With this in mind my decision to buy a new camera was preceded with hours of research and avidly reading all possible reviews.
I am not a serious photographer but do want the best possible pictures I am capable of taking and had found higher end compact cameras to give me the results desired. The portability of a small camera means a chance of a picture being taken on the spur of the moment whereas the idea of carrying around a large bulky DSLR with its associated lenses means no 'off chance' photos unless the outing was planned in the first place. My well travelled Ricoh Capilio R7 had served me well and I was quite happy until I bought a Panasonic TZ30 for my wife - the pictures it took made my Ricoh look like it was steam technology.
A new camera for me was needed and I began to think I could do with something that would cope well with some more serious photography when the need arose. DSLR's still failed to fill me with much enthusiasm but the new breed of super-zooms caught my eye. I decided a view finder was important and that narrowed the field down as most cameras didn't have a quality EVF. Finally I was down to either a Canon SX50HS or the Panasonic FZ200. The sexy sounding 50 times zoom on the Canon was certainly tempting but I do understand that big doesn't always mean better! The reviews on the stunning Panasonic lens and it's constant f/2.8 just couldn't be ignored - all the professional photographers reviews of this camera banged home the decision - buy the FZ200!
I then trawled the 'net' for the best deal and UK Digital Cameras had the edge on all others - well established and good customer service reviews - deal done!
I can't fault the service from them and I am absolutely delighted with the FZ200 - it is simply stunning to use.

Fantastic Service and Real People!
An excellent service, from prompt answering of emails, questions answered on live chat and then a phone call to tell me that my order could be quicker if I had the same camera with a different finish.
To add to the service the courier sent email and texts to confirm arrival and were spot on with their time. I would happily recommend UK Digital Cameras to anyone.

Buy! Buy! Buy! (Says A Very Happy Snappy Bunny!)
Wow! Service at it's best! If only all retailers were as good this.
Both Holly in sales and Kyle in trade-ins were first class in their product knowledge and service. I cannot fault Holly with her telephone manner, and her letter (email) writing skills are excellent. Holly put together a camera bundle which exactly suited my needs, thanks, and Kyle gave me a very generous trade-in allowance.
UK Digital Cameras prices are very keen. I could have got a better price from one of the 'grey' importers, but they didn't offer a free two year warranty or trade-in allowance, and I wouldn't have been eligible for Canon's £50 cashback offer.
Delivery was prompt and well within my allotted one hour time slot.
I am very happy to recommend them.

Top service...
My cannon sureshot G12 had a problem, a quick call to Trina and within an hour I had an e.mail with an address to send it. Within 2 weeks my camera was returned as good as new. Just a pity not all companys operate such a fast and efficent after service.

Couldn't ask for better service than from UK Digital Cameras
In looking for a top of the range camera UK Digital Cameras was one of my first options. It turned out they offered the right deal at the right price. Ordered at the weekend by standard delivery and took delivery of the camera on the following Tuesday. Can't ask for better than that. Phoned to query about the cash back offer and Holly was ever so nice and efficient at sorting out my requirements. First class and I would not hesitate to use them again.

An absolutely trouble free experience in part exchanging my Panasonic Lumix camera for a brand new Canon Powershot SX40 HS.

Superb after sales service.
I bought a Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens which turned out to be not focusing properly, Called UK Digital spoke to Simon who asked me to send lens back for recalibration or replacement. I sent the lens back, got an email within two hours of UK Digital receiving lens saying lens had been checked and confirmed it needed re-calibration and a new one had been sent out. New Lens arrived 7.30 following morning. Complaint was handled calmly and professionaly and service was second to none. 100% happy with UK Digital will buy from them again and have no hesitation in recommending them. Superb shopping experience!
I was "unlucky" to get the item of the wrong colour from this online store, but the way they responed to my problem was most pleasing.
Not only was the item replaced with a correct one, but I also got a refund for the return shipping.
Responses to my messages were fast, accurate and polite.

I ordered the Panasonic FZ48 because I wanted to take photos of our Ruby wedding anniversary celebrations. A friend of ours had this camera and I was impressed with the quality of photos. The camera arrived within a few days but unfortunately had a fault on the screen. I contacted UKDC and received a prompt response explaining the process of return and also provided a link informing me of my customer rights.
Customer service has been exceptional from start to finish and when I informed the ladies that dealt with the problem that I would have liked the camera for our Ruby Wedding celebrations, they were just great and ensured that it arrived with two days to spare. Customer service from start to finish has been excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending UKDC as a company to do business with.
Ruby wedding anniversary celebrations went well and I have some great photos to prove it.

A service that cannot be bettered
If all on-line dealers were as good as UKDigitalCameras there wouldn't be any complaints. I was too late to order a Canon SX40 SH on-line so made a phone call that was picked up by Holly who I cannot thank enough, she was very efficient and said that she would try and get my order despatched that evening which she did and I received the complete order by 12:45 the following day.

First Class Service for my TZ20 camera repair
The battery cover on my Panasonic TZ20 snapped off after 16 months of constant use. On contacting UK Digital Cameras for a repair under their 24 month warranty they responded within a couple of hours. I returned the camera for repair with an immediate response that it could take up to 6 weeks but would try to complete within 2 weeks. However, I received my camera repaired with a new original Panasonic hinge and cover within 3 working days by special delivery.
A first class and impressive service, especially for a warranty repair that was outside of the manufacturers warranty period.

First Class Service
I was looking to upgrade my camera equipment and needed advice and guidance on specific models. VERY quick delivery, excellent service
After days of browsing for the particular camera I was after I was getting frustrated with sites that claimed stock, but couldn't deliver, or that wouldn't deliver at all.

Superb Service from UK Digital Cameras
I have bought at least 4 cameras from this company and each time their service has been excellent. I ordered my latest camera on 23rd April in the afternoon, and went for standard delivery, so was very surprised when it was delivered by 2pm the following day. Nothing is too much trouble for this company and it doesn't matter which of their reps you talk to, as each one is very pleasant and very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. A truly 5 star company.
