Just atrocious. "Please call" when i track my parcel....... How about you call me!!! My address very much exists as royal mail, Fed ex and even minicabs find me easily. Up to date maps should be integral to a delivery company..... not this one! Absolute disgrace. And now that i'm going to have to wait and call them tomorrow my package almost certainly wont turn up tomorrow either. That's a funny looking "next day" to me. AVOID!
Orders lost/late and a completely fictional order delivery time estimation service.
I won't now buy online from companies that use ukmail as a courier.

My sister ordered a gift for my birthday, and the originating company used UKMail for delivery. They claimed to have attempted delivery twice, but only left a card on the 2nd occasion (I don't believe that they attempted the 1st delivery).
On the card they left for the 2nd delivery, there are 3 boxes for the driver to tick (1. we left your parcel at......, 2. We will try again on......., 3. Please go to our website to manage your delivery), none of them ticked.
I went to their website to manage the deliver, but the site informed me that "This Consignment is not available for redelivery.", so I phoned them, and waited 10 minutes for them to answer. They wanted me to collect from their warehouse 40 miles away!
They eventually agreed to redeliver.
This is the worst delivery company I have experienced, with their drivers not completing their documentation, their website not giving information, and the poor telephone answering.
If you want to send something, use a proper delivery company like Royal Mail.
FOLLOW UP 20/3/13
To follow up this delivery, I arranged for them to redeliver. Waited in all day, but no delivery.
I had to go out to work in the late afternoon, so I left a note on the door for them to leave the delivery with a neighbour. Got back from work to find a "Sorry you were out card", and they did not leave with a neighbour, not even a "sorry we cant do that" note on the card!
Their "Sorry we missed you" card, again was not completed.
Went to their website to rearrange delivery, but this now reports that it cannot find my consignment.
Trying to arrange another delivery date, but now they don't even answer the phone.
This really has to be the worst delivery company in the UK......bunch of Muppets!
Contract signed for £5 per parcel.
Following month they CHANGED THE RULES on VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT!
Everyone uses the formula LxWxB / 5000
They changed the formula to LxWxB / 4000 thus giving themselves a 25% payrise
All the staff there are nutcases and idiots expecially Neil, and the worst of the lot is Paul Chan who is a impulsive liar.
I suggest EVERYONE cancels their contract with them as they do NOT DESERVE to be around anymore... I will make sure everyone knows about their dodgy dealings, tricks. !!
This firm is run by a clown who wants to take over letter deliveries in the UK- this is a firm that has no customer service available apart from a normally dead phone line. If you are lucky enough to get through, you will not be offered any solution to the problems they create, I have just been told that the package they were supposed to deliver is in their Norfolk depot, but they have no idea how or when it could arrive in Croydon to be delivered. (paid for next day delivery- now four days late).
Their website is full of cheerful promises, and the grinning face of the director- why don't we all email him at guybuswell@ukmail.com and let him know what a total t*at we think he is- I did, and it relieved the stress a little....
I will now cancel the order, and buy the product elsewhere. A customer lost to the firm that uses UK Mail, and I will never consider buying from them again.

I had to rearrange delivery as I work during the week and no one was home to sign for the parcel. I had to take an unpaid day off work today to wait all day from 7am-7pm for delivery. However by 6pm nothing had come.
I phone their CS to find that it was supposed to be out today but was at the depo still. The guy on the phone (who sounded like a 12 year old boy) didn't know why and had no solutions for me. I had to be the one to give him options of offer me. Useless. They are not pro-active people.
The depo is 15min drive away. Unfortunately I can't drive, and I'm not prepared to pay £25 for a taxi there and back. They couldn't make an exception for me to get the item out to me before the depo closed at 8pm.
I had to ask for a pre-12 delivery the next day as the boy didn't know what to do. Thus, today I have wasted my time and I am now £160 out of pocket, plus I now have to take another day off work tomorrow unpaid.
I get no compensation for this loss, or anything from UK Mail to keep me as a customer.
The website is terrible - unable to track where the parcel is apart from a note that states expected delivery date. Plus their are no time blocks to choose a delivery to suit me.
I couldn't collect on a Weekend as it's not an option on the website.
Worst parcel company I've ever used.
This company operate a policy of heavily surcharging anyone with an IV2 postcode. They seem to thing that Scotland is "Offshore" and not attached to the rest of the UK.
Disgusting, discriminatory opportunism on their part........
I never thought i would say this but Thank goodness for the Royal mail - Long live the Royal Mail...
