when i was planning to buy an electronic piano for my daughter at 10 years old, there were not much source about buying piano.
when i used to investigate buying information on the internet i found uk pianos. i have got lots of information there. when i need more information, i reached to graham howard. he answered me as soon as possible when i asked something about to electronic piano.
at the end i bought an electric piano. thank you for all graham.
We needed an electric piano for the family to learn on. Choose the Broadway B1 from UK Pianos after a bit of searching,. Service was great and includes on site warranty work if required for 3 years which gives me piece of mind but the piano appears a solid piece of technology. Recommend both shop and manufacturer.

From beginning to end, this was the most unusual and rewarding purchasing experience. First there was Graham's brilliant, free guide to choosing and buying a digital piano (something that few of us have done before). Then there was lots of individual advice on technical queries. Finally, after comparing the market, there was help to secure a good deal with UK Pianos. There was no pressure at all to buy from UKP - it simply happened to be the best option. The icing on the cake was when, having put in an order, a sale was announced. I then realized I could have had a more expensive model at the sale price for not a great deal more than the lesser model I had ordered. A telephone call later, with no hassle at all, the friendly person in the call centre had switched my order to a more advantageous deal. What more can a buyer ask for?
This provides a source of copious amounts of information - helpful if you are just interested in pianos and useful if you are trying to make a decision
Luckily, I live just a few minutes drive from the UK Piano store in Enfield. People are often suspicious when they see a shop with bargains that seem too good to be true so I didn't want to buy until I had visited myself. The showroom is small and cramped - no money is being wasted there. There is an active piano school with classes going on. I also had the opportunity to visit the workshop where it seems Graham and the other staff really know what they are doing. In short, this is a real place with great work ethic. There is no hard sell. The bargains are good because prices are kept to a minimum with no wastage. I am very happy with the Classenti electric piano I bought. The sound is very good and the keyboard has a great feel. I strongly recommend UK Pianos.
I thoroughly studied Graham Howardˇs guide, scores and reviews at ukpianos.co.uk website about digital pianos and these really helped me to choose a suitable piano for my family. Thanks for all the information I was able to find about digital pianos on your website.
Graham's Guide to Digital Pianos was a huge help when looking for a piano for my daughter. It's the most easy to use and informative guide - we took Graham's advice and avoided making a costly mistake. Even though we ended up buying a digital piano privately we wouldn't have had the confidence in knowing the market without Graham's most useful guide.
I found UK Pianos a very useful source to determine what I should be thinking about when considering buying a digital piano. Questions were answered promply although a little bit brief and direct to a particular piano which, given the number of pianos out there, was a bit surprising. Overall a very useful resource.
UKPianos has an extensive list of ratings and recommendations. After reading reviews and responses, I finally decided on a digital piano and am currently very satisfied by it. I would recommend Graham's honest advice on piano selection to anyone interested in purchasing a DP.
Well, you can see for them is not only their job, it's their passion as well ! They know their stuff, they give you good advice, even their little guide for free, and they are always willing to try helping out. And in some cases, they can even arrange for you to pay by monthly instalments, so it's more affordable, and if you are in UK, a rent-to-buy scheme - basically, they can cover any kind of need. And if they give you advice, it's not about trying to sell you always the most expensive solution - if they think it's better for you, they will propose you a cheaper solution, even if it's not in their financial interest.
I was attracted to Graham's website because of the fantastic buying guide that enabled me as a non piano playing parent make the right buying decision. Once I knew the specification it was easy to select the right piano from a very extensive selection at the right price.
Once we had decided to buy the piano, it arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble. Many happy playing hours later....
Graham promotes his pianos on the basis of a customer's need, about which he is very sensitive, rather than pushing the most expensive pianos at you. His enthusiasm is infectious, his knowledge extensive and he clearly loves pianos - heart and soul.
I was totally confused and lost on which is the right piano to buy for my daughter who is in Grade 6 and plans to complete the course until grade 8.The Howard score and customer reviews at UK pianos helped me greatly.UK pianos gave me the right guidance and answered all my questions free of cost. It made life much easier for me and i bought a used Classenti CDP 1 Piano based on their advise .My daughter is very happy with it compared to other pianos she has been practicing on.
I will definitely recommend them to anyone considering to buy a piano. You can never go wrong with them.
UK Pianos provided the research tools I needed and gave me the confidence to choose an appropriate electronic piano. I am not a musician and was buying for a talented grandchild.
After selecting a make and model and after checking prices from many suppliers I bought from UK Pianos. The buying and delivery processes were completely painless.
UK Pianos were a pleasure to deal with. Advice was excellent and unbiased. The price was right. What more can I say.
The web site was a great help in working out what we wanted and why - for our purchase of a digital piano. As a complete music ignoramus - we wanted a piano for our 10 year old daughter to continue her lessons - the site and Howards book and scoring, with the explanations was really helpful. We later had a problem with the piano that Howard helped to resolve. Thanks again
This site is an excellent way to research a full range of pianos and keyboards. I used it to produce a shortlist of pianos I was interested in before trying them out in nearby shops. The information is well presented and shows exactly what you need to be looking for in an electric piano. An essential reference website.
Always find Graham and his staff at UK Pianos incedibly helpful and informative. They also have good recomendations and advice on various pianos, depending on your level.
I know nothing about pianos but needed one for my daughter. Found Uk Pianos on the internet and Graham's advice on buying electronic pianos. Decided to take the chance despite living a significant distance from the shop. Ordered a Broadway B1 which we have been really pleased with. Also got a good deal on a stool (didn't realise it also came with 1!). The shop was very easy to deal with and ultimately spent less money than originally intended! I would highly recommend this shop.
Graham is a very helpful fellow who knows his craft. You can't go wrong with his directions when buying a piano.
I am still undecided about buying an electric keyboard but feel a lot more informed now thanks to the excellent and unbiased advice from Graham. I would recommend UK Pianos as the first port of call for anyone looking to get an electric keyboard and I hope to return to them in the near future to buy one myself. Many thanks.
I liked the buying guide and found it a very helpful analysis, as also the reviews on the website. Eventually I narrowed down my choice to Yamaha CL470 vs Kawai CA65. I got a chance to play on each of these two - but in two different stores. So I wanted ideally to compare these instruments in the same store, using the same headphones. But no joy! Eventually bought the Kawai from a local (sole) dealer.
Great, fantastic and professional with understanding.
Graham, at Uk Pianos, is like a friend who will hold your hand (online) through the whole process of buying a piano. He has the knowledge (and some!) and he helps you to focus on important questions, like why you're buying a piano, what you want from it, and so on. He makes it easy to find the most appropriate piano, and this is exactly what is needed.
I used to be an accordion player, and had no idea when it came to buying a digital piano. When I contacted Graham, all the problems and puzzles about the piano disappearred very quickly. Graham not only promptly replied my emails and sent the document on selecting digital pianos, which was very helpful for a clueless digital piano buyer like me. Moreover, he was very kind to send follow up the emails a couple of months later, and check whether I have any further enquiry about the piano.
I really appreciate your help, Graham! Thank you!!!
When I retired a couple of years ago, at the top of my 'bucket' list was to finally obtain a piano and learn to play it, at my leisure!
The problem was I knew absolutely nothing about buying one - what to look for, what is a reasonable price, which makes are good and which not so good.
Well I was lucky. After having decided at an early stage that an electric piano was what I wanted, I soon came across Graham Howard at UK Pianos.
It was clear straight away that Graham's love of Pianos and his desire to share his knowledge with others was his only motivation in helping steer me through what was by then a bit of a minefield. Eventually I bought a fabulous Yamaha from a private online sale. It was a real bargain then and remains so today and is also a beautiful piece of furniture in my house.
Thank you so much Graham for the independent advice you gave me at that time and I know that you are always there to help with any further questions whenever they may arise. You are indeed 'The Piano Man'!!
The information he provided helped me to decide which digital piano to purchase. There are so many choices and every family (or individual need) is different. it can be very difficult without some direction. Mr. Howard was exceptional in service and in providing easy to understand comparisons. Thank you Graham, we are really pleased with the digital piano that we finally found and bought.
I am a piano teacher and I am constantly asked by my students what pianos to buy. Due to my busy life, though, I am unable to collect all of the information about all makes and designs on the market. Just a few clicks away, there was the information of Graham Howard which was extremely helpful. I am very content, great job, Graham!
