There are some mixed reviews on here about the service Unlimited Web Hosting offer.. I cannot speak for other peoples experiences but I have many domains with UWH and a hosting package and I cannot praise them enough.
I have had to open a number of support tickets over the years, but certainly no more than I would expect from any other company and many of the questions I asked weren't actually as a result of problems on UWH behalf. Also I'd like to point out that some of these tickets were opened late at night or early in the morning yet despite this I have generally had a reply with half an hour - doesn't get much better than that!
I cannot compare the hosting package to others as it has been a long time since I've used other hosting companies but I've always been pleased with the service I've received and certainly for the price I cannot of asked for more.
As a final point, UWH host a number of sites for me, some of them are personal websites with a low number of visitors, others are for a small company who receives tens of thousands of visitors per month and the experience I've had the same great experience across all of the sites.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend hosting your sites with them - quick, easy to use, great prices and even greater customer service!
I have been with Unlimited Web Hosting for three years and in that time I
have had cause to raise 49 support tickets. These have ranged from simple problems all the way through to "my company is losing hundreds of e-mails every week".
After writing a stinking review on reviewcentre.com, they offered me a free VPS for life, and I agreed to take my review down.
But only six months later, they wrote to me out of the blue to tell me that I must start paying for my VPS services.
I felt like I had been lured into a trap and deliberately deceived. I had been enticed in with a promise which, I now suspect, Unlimited Web Hosting had never intended to fulfil. Even putting these suspicions aside, it is clear from such behaviour that Unlimited Web Hosting lack honour and integrity and that their treatment of customers is nothing short of appalling.
The justification? They had decided (offering no supporting evidence) that Unlimited Web Hosting had been in the right the entire time, and therefore the goodwill gesture of a free VPS for life should not have been offered.
When I kicked up a fuss about this (as any customer rightly would), they changed tack completely and altogether terminated my services, leaving me with only five weeks to find a new provider!!
In desperation, I offered to pay full price for the VPS, but then the truth came out: they told me that Unlimited Web Hosting could no longer cater for my needs (disturbing, when you consider that, hours before, they were fully prepared to cater for my needs, so long as I paid top whack for a VPS).
It's true that I'm no home user. My company, Titanium Tutors, has ten staff, all of whom would like to access their e-mails on their computers, and some of whom would also like to connect from an additional device such as an iPhone.
But they told me that this was "an insane number of connections" and that no provider could offer me what I was looking for. I expressed my surprise that an "unlimited" web hosting company could not even cater for the needs of a small business. After all, I'm not exactly a Facebook.
I spoke to a director of the parent company, Awareness Software, and even he was unable to explain why I had "outgrown" (his very words) Unlimited Web Hosting. In fact, he listened to me explain the full details of my complaint on the phone, and not only offered no sympathy, but outright refused to concede even the slightest bit of guilt on the part of Unlimited Web Hosting.
I tried contacting the most senior person at Awareness Software: three e-mail attempts and a phone call, and he simply ignored me.
I thought that reneging on an offer of free lifetime services was the worst thing that Unlimited Web Hosting would ever do to me (well, apart from the atrocities they committed that led to the offer). But it now turns out that I face moving provider altogether, despite having offered to pay full price for whatever technology may be needed to make my business run smoothly, including, if necessary, a VPS. All of this, on the grounds that so-called "Unlimited" Web Hosting cannot cope with my technological requirements.
I can only hope that, by sharing my story, others will be able to avoid experiencing this all-too-real nightmare for themselves.
These guys are amazing. I took a standard VPS and made all manner of unusual tweaks to it. The team helped me a lot at the start and continued to help despite the VPS having a rather bespoke configuration. I would expect most companies to step back and say - you made the bespoke changes, it's down to you, but Unlimited Web hosting weren't phased at all and continued to give first class support.
I earlier posted a rather negative review of the support department at unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk and the lack of support they had offered in relation to a server migration from Plesk9 to Plesk11.
As a result of this review, and a message left with company via their contact form, I had a call from one of the owners of the company and a rather frank and open discussion took place in which I clearly outlined my issues.
Having worked in IT, and done a lot of work in the past with startup ISP's in the early days, I have a good understanding of the issues a company will face when performing a upgrade to the core servers, software and associated services.
Quite clearly, there was a failing in communication with the support department, however, this has been a learning curve for the company and they are reacting in a positive way to my complaint and I have offered to assist them with their KB (which is rather lacking at the moment).
The matter has been resolved and as a result, the 2/5 rating I earlier provided, has been restored to a 5/5 which reflects the usual standard of service I would normally expect to receive from them (have been a customer for a number of years and aside from a DNS attack and a couple of minor outages, service has been top notch).
The one thing to note is that there is nothing wrong with making a complaint and raising an issue however, when it has been resolved, it is also right and proper to amend or update the said review to reflect the outcome.
Thank you to the company for responding in a positive manner and realising that there were problems in how my issue was dealt with, and thank you for taking the time to discuss and resolve in a speedy manner! Well done.
I have been with Unlimited Web Hosting for 2 years now, and can honestly say that it's been nothing but a pleasure to do business with them. When running your own business you want to work with people that are reliable and do what they say they will. On the odd occasion when I have had a problem publishing one of my websites, the customer service I have received has been exemplary. I would recommend Unlimited Web Hosting without hesitation.

Amazing value service for such a competitive cost. Reliable serving 99% of the time, but when there is any downtime or problem, the customer service team react to support tickets incredibly quickly. I'm confident I'm not going to find a better service anywhere else.
I've used several hosting services - including some big names.
These guys have a top notch product in terms of speed and reliability - at a really competitive rate.
But where they really blow the competition out of the water is in the quality of support. I always get a fast answer and resolution to any issues (which most times are caused by external factors). But for me, it's the fact you can have a meaningful dialogue with the support team - not just get the canned responses and requests for information you've already provided.
If you're trying to make up your mind between different hosting companies - STOP! Just sign up with these guys and be done.
I have been an Unlimited Web Hosting customer for a while now and after trying a few hosting providers, these guys are by far the best!
I've had various technical issues in the past and more recently and the support service given is fast, friendly and efficient. Even out of 'normal' office hours! These guys are always on hand to help when you need it.

I found unlimited web hosting last year and as they were competitive i thought i d give them a go and they are now my hosting company of choice, in fact they are the only hosting company I now use.
Not sure how they offer so much for so little but the service is great and the support just sets them apart in my view.
I strongly recommend you look at them if your thinking about hosting provision.
I cant recommend them enough. I have had hosting with them for a couple of years now. Maybe in the early stages there were issues with the servers but these seem to be solid now. However customer service has always been excellent every time.
I don't normally give reviews, nevermind glowing ones, but in this case it's well earned.
I've used several hosting companies now inluding a few well known ones. With my previous employer, we started encountering some issues with one site and couldn't identify what the problem was. It started slowing down and the hosting co involved was no help. Unbeknown to us our site had been hacked and was being used to send literally 1,000,000's of spam mails . Over a period of months this ended up in our site being blacklisted and potential visitors were stopped from visiting our site by their anti-virus software. This led to our google rankings going down the tubes.
We then switched to Unlimited Web Hosting who immediately spotted the spamming activity. They advised us and pinpointed the script that had been hijacked and were a massive help getting our site cleaned and functional again. All this in a matter of hours of opening an account with them.
Since then, (and that was a couple of years ago), whenever we've had any form of issue, they have been nothing less than massively helpful. The last 2 nights I have been working well past midnight and they've still responded in a timely, useful and courteous manner. I wouldn't go elsewhere.

Какие проблемы возникли.На сервере не были установлены библиотеки PHP (GD and FreeType) и у меня не работали некоторые плагины. Написал в поддержку, ответили очень быстро. Сказали сделаем ночью. Но в итоге сделали часа через 2, без вопросов. Просто типа «Ок, мы можем это сделать для вас» И, как я понял, поддержка круглосуточная! Ну либо работают с раннего утра. Разница с Лондоном у нас 3 часа. Писал я им около 9-10 утра (т.е. там было 6-7 утра) и мне ответили минут через 5.
I had a serious problem with my website after updating some material i lost my entire product list. After a few mins of stressing i then decided to contact the guys at unlimited. WOW is all I can say! I sent them the error msg I kept getting and within about 30 mins they had managed to use a backup from their end and restored my site back to its previous working state. I am very pleased with the service I have received over the past 9 months and would happily recommend Unlimited Web Hosting to anyone.

Since I started with unlimited (via a clients individual account) a year ago, the help and support has been literally second to NONE. If I had an issue with a file or database going screwy, these guys would be there, happy to help.
Since I set up my reseller account things have got even better. Plesk is ace, the servers are fast, email support is fantastic and rapid, and it's nice to be able to phone in when thing end up in a tiz.
Highly expert, these guys know their onions.

unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk has threatened to take legal action against us if we write according to them "slanderous accusations" about them .We were amazed when we received the threat email "if you confirm to make slanderous accusations about us, due to your own ignorance, I will instruct our legal team to take action.", which suggest how desperate these people are ,and also not willing to accept feedbacks/criticism from their customers. We have been with them for 8 months,and we have decided to exercise our consumer right to write about our experience with unlimiedwebhosting.co.uk .The aim is to share our experience with others who use web hosting companies.
We noted that our wordpress sites always lost connection-;when you “update” a post you get “internal server errors”, when you click “publish” in wordpress you get the same error. When you spend say 5 mins in the site, browsing you get same problems. Same applies to other scripts. They never accepted that their servers are have Problems. Infact when we continued to complain they said our sites/scripts were badly coded, which appears to suggest that wordpress script is badly coded!
Error messages from Google webmaster tools were enormous, ranging from “outage” "can’t access websites” These are indicators of a website not connecting, down or slow.In one of our website we got this email. see image [external link removed]

They say their uptime is 99.99% .tell them to show you their statistic. our record showed that it was much less than that with outage lasting up to 2hrs in some instance. see link [external link removed].
The average response time of their servers is nothing to write home about.again our record showed 2500ms, which is not acceptable by the majority of webhosting company .Some webhost believes 300ms should be the min. again ask them for their response time for a site based in the UK.
Unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk reseller account may not be suitable for people who want to host multiple websites. We had one of our account- entire reseller disabled because they claim some domains within a cpanel/subscription overused resources ( clearly not an unlimited hosting AS CLAIMED).
The technical support of the staff is a complete joke. and not acceptable. majority of our technical problems were never resolved. They closed tickets automatically within few days.
It is normal that websites can exceed resources at times, but the standard which is obtainable in the industry is to disable the cpanel or subscription where the domain(s) that exceeds resources resides. Unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk will suspend your entire reseller account and begin to play around.For someone who resells, it means your business with be adversely affected. In one instance we were told that we have to move to a dedicated server which we obliged. After a week in our new "dedicated server" we requested for login details and root access.We were told that “we do not grant root access and login details in our managed dedicated servers” which clearly suggest that they lied and we weren’t given a dedicated server in the first place. We finally forfeited our reseller account with over 70 domains to unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk.
For a company that tell lies in their website-:99.99% uptime, "Our Cloud Platform enables us to deliver a totally Unlimited reseller hosting package with no limits or restrictions." Unwilling to accept feedbacks to help them improve, I will not recommend this company to anyone.They might be good for people who just want to host one site and not too worried about monitoring their website performance.

I have just renewed my hosting with these guys - starting my second year with them. The service they offer is fantastic - unlimited everything (bandwidth, disk space etc). Everything they say they do - they do without doubt.
The support team are really on the ball as well. When you raise a support ticket they respond within 5-15 minutes of posting. The advice they give is always really helpful too. Not only do they respond quickly, but they also sort it quickly as well.
I would recommend UWH to anyone without hesitation - great value, great company.
We have never had any trouble with Unlimited Web Hosting but if you find yourself in a spot of bother and can't think of how to do something then open a ticket and let them know, we've found they reply with the solution with a matter of minutes!

www.unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk is amazing. When I raised a support ticket each time they responded within 10 mins. I would like to thank BEN (staff at uwh) for being very helpful and polite. All in all I would recommend this company due to the fact that they have great staff, 99.9% uptime and is really cheap. £3 a month is great for unlimited everything.
I'm going to give an honest review here, because I think it's important to do so. This may be a long one!
You're obviously looking on here trying to decide what web host to go with, and to be honest I thought this site was full of fakes when I was trying to do the same, but it's not - they ask you to put a review up when they deal with your support ticket. I'll break it down in points with the most important first:
1) THE HOSTING - It's grand and I've tried many. Sure, I've had problems but no more or less than any other host (and I have tried many and still have several on the go). They've sorted it and that's the main thing. For example, today I had a connection problems from my end - it took a while and if I had just left it I still wouldn't have a connection from my end (it was a problem with my IP Address), but it was resolved in the end and that's all that matters. My advice would be try everything you can at your end and if still no joy, get back stating that. All hosting support is going to appreciate that.
The hosting and speed of the hosting is generally spot on, not perfect but spot on. To be honest, unless you are going to pay for a dedicated server, no matter who you go with there will always be certain issues. However, these guys sort them out.
For example, I host sites for clients. I played about with the Reseller option. You do get unlimited and all. The only reason why I moved away was for an easier interface for clients (the hosting was fine). I also have personal affiliate sites on WP, no big juice, but the Reseller Account I have now can't deal with them, whereas the hosting on here always could, so will be transferring those sites back. For clients that want me to manage everything, I'll seriously be considering reopening a Reseller account with these guys because it might make financial sense for me to run the two of them.
I tried the biggest hosting company in the world, and while I love their domains, SSL etc., their hosting is awful. This 'cheap' hosting is so much better. Just because something has a good brand, doesn't make it a good service. With the daddy of hosting here is no php juice and good luck if you try to do anything outside the box (good luck of you try to do anything inside the box in most cases). Apart from the above, I would stay away, as their support answers always include the word 'upgrade'. Just sayin' :)
2) THE CONTROL PANEL - it's Plesk - don't be afraid! Plesk is grand. It's not the option most people want, but it does exactly the same as CPanel, and a big reason for the reduction in costs is that it's cheaper to run a hosting company using Plesk. I started with CPanel and for me it's riding a bike, but once you get used to Plesk it's grand. If not, just ask.
3) THE SUPPORT - in general grand. For the price you're paying, fantastic. I've put support tickets at all hours and all have been answered very quickly. The only thing I would advise, is if they think they've finally answered your query, and you have another one, then open up a new support ticket. One of the reasons I was concerned about taking out value hosting was the perceived lack of support. That's not a problem with these guys I can assure you. Just because a Hosting Company is big and can advertise on TV etc. means nothing. If you were to go with the 'Big' Company, take it for a month and just be prepared to to back and forth 10 times or more you problem 'might' get sorted. I'm not slating any Company in particular, just conveying my personal experience. There's better support with uk unlimited.
4) THE WEBSITE - As a web designer the biggest obstacle for me taking hosting with these guys was their website. No offence but for what they offer, they need a more pro website and branding (I'm very reasonable by the way - maybe less that 18 months Reseller Hosting :) ) Seriously, my only advice would be to look a bit more 2013. As a customer, when you've signed up, this makes no difference as your Control Panel is Plesk and the only thing you'll use the website for is support and any domains. To be fair it's very easy to navigate for support and domains etc., just think they may get more customers if it was up to 2013 standards.
CONCLUSION - This has been a longer review than anticipated, but to be honest for your benefit if you're reading this. I know what it's like to choose a Host, and the suspicions of going for value. Feel free to contact me if need verified what I've said. Sometimes it's pot luck choosing (as I know). No Hosting will ever be absolutely perfect, but it's how they deal with problems is what matters. The biggest issue is speed and websites hosted with this host are as fast as ones for x10 the price.
To start up my own business, I needed to find a well priced and reliable UK based hosting company for my website. After compering various companies and reading many reviews, unlimited web hosting seemed the most suitable service for what I was looking for. Skeptical that the low pricing would mean a lack of customer service, I am glad to say this was not the case.
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to domain names, transfers and all the stages required to start up a website, that aside I have had the full support, guidance and quick response from the customer support team at Unlimited web hosting throughout the process and I am very appreciative of all their help and would highly recommend their services.
As stated above this web hosting company is by far the best i have used (and i have used a lot) no hassle, very helpful and sort issues out very quickly 10 out of 10 and recommend to anyone

The team have always been great, they are so quick, given good instruction of what to do, and always solve asap. It gives me so much confidence and comfort to know that the friendly and helpful team are there if a problem occurs. Great service.

Having used numerous hosting companies of varying price points over the years I really wasn't expecting much from Unlimited Web Hosting given the cost of the package, but I've been blown away (cheers Ash!) by not only by the speed of their responses (within minutes) but also the obvious technical ability of the staff and willingness to help. Rare to find in a hosting company but a very pleasant surprise!
