21. April: ordered a pair of nike shoes, uk size 6 - which urban outfitters translates to a euro39. All good.
24. April: Receive shoes - turns out to be a size euro40 - which I did not expect due to their size chart.
25. April: I write to customer service - and receive a generic response, telling me that they will look into it, and are sorry that I received the wrong item.
I write: 'I never had the chance to order the right item, since I was misinformed by your chart'
28. April. 'Our Customer Service team have confirmed that the size sent is correct. If you send the item back, we will refund it.'
As the email is generic, there is no real response to my complaint on the mistranslation of the shoe size chart. I re-send the first email and kindly ask for a response on the sizing-mismatch.
1. May: UO write to inform me that '...the size we have sent is the correct size as the brand have advised there is a printing discrepancy on the label.'
Which leads me back to my first email to OU; 'I never had the chance to order the right item, since I was misinformed by your chart!!!'
Also I talked to a nike shoe dealer; a nike uk6 is always 'translated' to a euro40. Since this 'discrepancy on the label' is ever present, one should think that UO would give you the information required to order the right item. But when you can just make your customers pay for the return, then why bother?
I give two stars, based only on the fast shipping. Everything else has been a waste of time and money.
Stupidly ordered the wrong size in one item, so I rang the helpline about 3 minutes after the order. 'Unable to make any amendments to the order' is their rule, so I was recommended to cancel the entire order. The lady I was speaking to said she had cancelled the order, and that I would receive a refund soon. Great, I thought! 4 working days went past and I began to worry that the money wasn't in my account yet, so I rang the helpline again.....'sorry, your order has been dispatched', 'okay, what's the best way to return the order', 'don't open the package, but write received on it and return to sender', 'alright, that's fine, when will I receive a refund', 'in 28 to 29 days after we've received the package'......'WHAT?!' I received the package the next day and returned it straight away by recorded delivery...still waiting for my refund and they haven't communicated with me to tell me they've received my returned package. Hopefully they have, and hopefully I'll receive my refund soon. Terribly sad, as their clothes are so nice but they are terrible and communication, and their returns policy is atrocious! The 2 stars are purely for the fact that I think they have a great range of clothing, accessories, and home ware. Otherwise....they suck!
Fin hjemmeside, upåklagelig levering - men.... Fragtpriserne er ALT for dyre. Forestiller mig de har tilpas mange kunder i Skandinavien til, at de ikke vil miste for meget på at sætte prisen væsentligt ned.
Købte en kjole. Jeg blev nødt til at have en fridag hvor jeg kunne være hjemme hele dagen og modtage varen. Den plev leveret af DPD og det var ret besværligt.
Jeg har flere gange handlet på urbanoutfitters.co.uk uden problemer.
Hver gang har jeg modtaget mine varer forholdsvist hurtigt, og kvaliteten af tøjet har været som forventet.
Det eneste jeg kan klage lidt over er den dyre fragt - det er alt for meget at skulle betale 15 pund for forsendelse.
Jeg har handlet en enkelt gang hos Urban Outfitters, og det fungerede uden problemer. Det eneste irriterende er dog, at deres fragt er så dyr...
Jeg købte fra Urbanoutfitters.co.uk en masse artikler, en af dem var desværre defekt ved leveringen, jeg kontaktede derfor UO via mail og fik hurtigt svar tilbage, efter at have sendt et foto af den defekte vare fik jeg tilbuddet om at modtage en ny, uden yderligere beregning, eller få pengene ført tilbage for varen. Det er som det skal være, ikke noget med at sende det tilbage og en yderligere udgift.
Købte en taske som var beskrevet som værende i ægte skind. Efter at have brugt den i en uge opdager jeg at det er fake skind! For at være helt sikker tager jeg den med til den skomager, han får lov til at klippe et lille hul i foeret så han kan komme ind og se bagsiden af det som skulle være skind - det er 100% fake skind!
Jeg kontakter virksomheden men de nægter at tage retur da tasken nu er beskadiget! Jeg forklare at det jo er dem som har lavet en fejl, og at tasken jo allerede havde været brugt i en uge, så de ville jo alligevel ikke kunne sælge den igen. Det er de ligeglade med - da der er klippet hul, er tasken beskadiget og de har ikke pligt til at tage den retur.
Efter at jeg har gjort dem opmærksomme på fejlen, har de dog nu ændret beskrivelsen af taksen på deres hjemmeside, men jeg har ikke fået så meget som en undskyldning for den fejl de lavede.
Det er sidste gang jeg har købt hos Urban Outfitters!
