I paid extra for express delivery. USC use the worst courier around - My Yodel - see the reviews the courier gets on here for an idea of what they're like.
Nothing's turned up, my emails have gone unanswered, and it looks like I'm going on holiday without anything decent to wear. One big telltale sign about the company's aspirations in terms of customer service - no phone number. Only way to contact them is by their feedback form.
I'm not even sure how I'm going to go about getting my money back. It's been a very long time since I've been left this uncertain about an online purchase. I mistaken thought USC were a reputable company. Thinking about it, I don't know where I got that idea from, but it's clearly flawed. This company is a relic from that time online when you were never quite sure if everything was legit.
Well I placed my order then came on here and saw the reviews and my heart sank.
But my order was placed shipped and delivered perfectly, I was kept up to date with the status of my delivery by text and email and I am very pleased. My order arrived in the correct shoe, size and colour. I know they use yodel who are not the best delivery company as I have had problems with them before from a different company with goods being stolen. But this experience was a pleasant one. I would use them again!
I ordered from USC for the first time on 7th May. I bought a pair of Firetrap jeans at £30 down from £60. Good value and really nice quality and fit.
Order placed at 1.30 on 7th May, item was delivered around noon on 9th May, with Yodel.
Good quality item, good price, delivery was excellent but that's a bit of luck when it comes to Yodel as anything could happen!
Delivery may have been next day if I had ordered earlier.
I would rate USC 5 stars if it wasn't for their choice of courier.
Okay i so paid for a t-shirt on thursday night i paid extra for saturday delivery so saturday comes i get email from yodel which as soon as i saw it was them i knew the order was not arriving anyway i phoned yodel to see if it was out for delivery and they said no as usc had not advised them it was saturday delivery which angered me so i had to go into a usc in town and buy the same t-shirt so i called usc on the monday as their customer service is closed on wknds and i told them on monday that i did not want the order and wanted a refund to which they have says okay but you will not be getting a refund until we have the parcel back they told me that they have been in touch with yodel and advised the courier to return the parcel to them its now wednesday and my parcel has been out for delivery everyday this week without any attempted deliveries and with usc telling me each day they are on top of this and yodel are returning the parcel to them clearly yodel just do what they want but it angers me at just how usc are not willing to take any of the blame for this so my parcel is sitting in the back of some incompetent yodel couriers car and usc are unwilling to refund me even though theres now way of me getting the parcel now that yodel have said that they are returning it to sender!
1: I ordered a pair of brown boots when I received the order they were black so I posted them back and had to keep chasing them for a refund of the postage.
2: Placed an order on a Thursday and when the website still showed it as processing on the following Monday I telephoned them and after they spoke to the warehouse was advised it would be picked and sent out that day. On Tuesday morning the website only showed the order as ready to ship so again I phoned them to be told that it had not been sent as promised but would be sent out that day.
I will now shop elsewhere especially as they use Yodel.
Well, other than the fact that the website has no one to talk to etc etc as I discovered when I tried to complain, they actually sent a tribly, a shaped hat, in a plastic bag jiffy! I was fairly suprised when the parcel I was waiting for turned up flat!!!!
They complaints/returns situation is a joke. I guess you get what you pay for and USC is cheap!
Ordered several items. One was out of stock so they took it off the price before charging me. Items arrived quickly. One was faulty and one I didnt like, I sent these two items back and recieved a refund within a week. Really impressed, especially when you read the reviews on here...
For the past six years I've been buying 70% of my clothes/shoes from USC , I always received the items on time, never had a problem with them.....perfect shopping experience !!! Buy with confidence ! Simple website, very easy to use with plenty of stuff !
Almost every USC review I've seen has been very negative towards to company. I found a t-shirt and jeans on there for a very good price so I just had to go for it.
The items turn up 3 days later by courier with every intact and the correct size.
I ordered a pair of combat shorts £6 down from £30 with free delivery,so great start.Goods were delivered within 3 days.Placed another order since for 2 polo shirts and delivery was £3.99 which i feel is a little steep for such light items(but thats my opinion).Will use again.
i have ordered from the web page before christmas but never received the package.
despite me calling them three times (probably like a lottery win to get through to them to begin with), using their complain form on the web page and emailing them directly i have not heard back from them.
the first time i spoke to them i was told that hermes says someone signed for the package (i was not in the UK on the date, so can proof that no one at my house signed for it) but USC wasn't able to provide me with the name of the signature. i was told to check with my neighbours to see if someone signed for it.
called them the next day, said none of my neighbours signed for anything. i was told i would be called back but no reply (over a week later now).
have been trying to get through to them all day today but message goes instantly through to "phone line is busy".
Don't buy from them!!!!
I'd never had a problem with USC until ordering online with them. I put my order in, paid for next day and expected my items to be with me soon. Nearly a week later and they hadn't arrived, but an email from USC had. It was sent from a no reply email address and basically said that there was an unexpected demand for the item I had ordered and a gesture of goodwill they would like offer me 10% off my next order. No mention of a refund of the money I had paid. I couldn't reply to the email, so contacted USC via their facebook page. I outlined my problem and provided my order number, got a standard reply of send your order to this email address and we'll look into for you. Why should again email them with my problem, I'd already outlined it and provided them with me order number. I commented on my post with just that, and what do you know, no reply. So I then decided to contact them via their "help" department of their website, guess what........ no reply! I commented on their facebook page again this morning and I'm still waiting for their feedback. To make matters worse they've replied to queries below and above mine, but completely ignored mine!!! I'm contacting my bank tomorrow to arrange a chargeback and I would advise everyone to avoid them like the plague!!!!!!
