Easy to use website and excellent email support. They let me about a litte known ammendment of Florida state law that now reqiures forigne licence holders to also supply an International drivers permit, (even the hire companies wre unaware !)and this week also let me know that this law is not yet going to be enforced by FHP as there is some confusion on whether it cotravenes the Geneva Convention.

Very competitive and excellent Customer service

Have used them about six times and have always found them to be competitive. We've done something slightly different with our car pick up and drop off this April and our email queries were dealt with promptly and comprehensively.

the manager verieied it was wrong of you to send in 2 contracts whith the same date,which caused us many problems at the airport.It is requested please send to the company External link removed],remaining contract dated 04/03/2013to 15/04/2013.
as units will know this already all payments.of course we are grateful pleasew act quickly,courtesy [External link removed] and send request to please back to us that manager"s request,we must presente at the airport with the new voucher,shortly.

Not Impressed

The rental agency [External link removed] took forever to pick us up and once we got there it was difficult to find the booking as they did not know there own Internet details in order that I retrieve my booking.
The cost of toll fees was far in excess of any other hire company used in Orlando to date.
The journey to the collection point was too long and the return will need to be carefully programmed in to ensure I arrive on time for my return flight.
Use another company.

The reservation process is simple, website easy to understand and pick up at alamo great. used usrentacar 4 times now picked up in Sanford, Florida. Orlando, Florida. LAX, California. and this year will be at orlando again. Always cheapest & easist to book. The reason for the loss of 1 star is that I always take the option to have the sat nav delivered to my home first as it is cheaper. But when I took it to LAX it did not work and I still have not recieved a refund, so this year I will be picking it up in Orlando.

Love USARentacar....hate alamo queues

Booking with USA rentacar was pretty easy and I have used them a couple of times but this was the first time I have booked a large SUV. Only issue I had with description of the Chevy Tahoe I booked was that it says it has seating for 7 and space for 4 suitacases, in fact with 7 seated there is only space for two.

Overall good service and the app is brilliant and I have booked again for my trip to LAX, using Alamo again so I hope queues are not as bad as Christmas at Orlando Airport.

I discovered US rent a car a number of holidays ago and while the web site can sometimes lock up, i've always found what i've been looking for either standard saloon, SUV or more commonly people carriers. The site provides a clear price with what you get for your money described in full. You can pick up the phone and ask a question in working hours, the staff are polite and if they cannot answer your query strainght away, they get back to you either by phone or e-mail. I've had no drama's to date regardless of airport of entry or vehicle supplier.

While shopping around may trim the odd pound of the potential cost, the peace of mind of paying in pounds and knowing exactly what you are expecting at the other end of a long journey more than makes up for shaving a few quid off the price.
