I ordered my think pad on Sunday afternoon, and it was delivered on the Wednesday. The delivery service was first rate, an email sent the day before to say it would be with me the next day, and then an email sent on the day of delivery giving the time of the actual delivery, a one hour time slot.... so much better than saying between 8 and 6 like most other companies. The laptop was delivered within the given slot....
The product was exactly as described and better, I am really pleased with it, I would recommend Val-u-Computers to anyone looking for a second user machine.

I am a complete novice when it comes to computers and this is my first laptop. Best service I ever been provided with
I was shopping for a refurbished laptop and came across Val U computers. I thought oh my god how can someone give a company such a name, you need 2 minutes to spell it on the phone but anyway I said to myself, get one from these guys.
I was truly impressed, first the laptop was top notch and the assistance I got from Trevor and Ben after some minor issues was superb. Highly recommmended.

the first computer they sent had a couple of faults on it, but after one phone call they had another one despatched, this one seems to work ok but it's early days, but I would say the customer support was second to none, just a pity they didn't get it right first time.

EXCELLENT COMPANY.HIGHLY RECOMEND
i bought a dell laptop in december,and over the last few weeks the charger stopped working.I contacted val-u-computers and had a reply within 15 minutes (it was after 6pm so wasnt expecting a reply so fast!) a new charger is being sent out tomorow.Brilliant and highly recomend them.

Good value for money
Needed a new laptop since old one broke, found Val-U-Comp and seemed to be best value for money out of the rest, Delivery was as stated one big draw back was when i opened the box i found that the plug on the power cable had a pin broken couldnt find it in the box so must have been put in like this, luckily my old laptop has the same fitting so i just used this as i could be bothered calling up about it, also just today had a little problem with the battery its self thought it might have died and it wouldnt charge i popped it out and put it back in and all was fine probably nothing but ill keep an eye on it.

I ordered a Dell 510 Laptop at the beginning of March which was delivered bang on time and I was able to use it straight away. It was in excellent condition and a lot faster than my previous laptop. I am very happy with my new laptop and also with the costumer service, they been very helpfull, I didn't like the first one and they did not hesitated in sending me anotherone, it was very fast and at one moment I had both laptops with me at the same time, because I don't have a printer, they send me the label to stick on the box I was returning, this is the reason why I had both laptops for a day. I will recommend to anyone that wants to buy a second hand laptop.

I checked lots of comparable suppliers and found that Val-U-Computers gave the best price for the spec. I was pretty hacked off to find that the delivery costs weren't stated until the last step in the order/ payment process, however I chose the cheapest delivery option and the laptop arrived in half the time - brilliant. The laptop was thoughtfully packed with mostly recyclable materials, and was well presented (clean etc) and in line with the published spec.

Didnt want to spend alot on a new computer as never having had one before and being new to the surfing scene was worried I wouldnt get on with it. Then again I was dubious about buying a second hand computer but shouldnt have been as it was like new! , Perfect for first time user, light and compact and excellent value for money. I ordered the laptop saturday and it arrived Tuesday! (The tab on the letter N came loose but was easily fixed). Came with easy to read instructions. Rapid ,positive agreeable response
Had 3 dell 610's.
One in poor condition that failed within a week. replaced by next day delivery.
Pity it failed - but there always will be failures and rapid fix is what is required without a load of correspondence.

I bought a Dell and the only qualm I have is that the power adapter supplied is not Dell brand - after a few days it came up as 'unrecognised' which means it wouldn't charge the battery
