Verizon has been my choice for going on 8 years
I just upgraded my phone and got a new 2 year contract with Verizon and the new package has unlimited talk and text and 2GB data. Considering I use my phone mainly for talk and text and hardly use it for web browsing I'm excited. I don't have to wait for the weekends to call home anymore. On my old package I had 450 minutes a month with free evenings and weekends, but living in HI and my family in TX I couldn't really call home as much as I wanted. I really like that Verizon has decided to make talk unlimited.

Great coverage, great selectiuon of phones, but...
Verizon is a great company as far as coverage and phone options except for the fact that it's not cost-effective for individuals. It's an extremely good value for families with their shared family pools of data, minutes, and texting, but for an individual, it's fairly expensive. I'd probably go to either Sprint or T-Mobile for a cost-effective individual plan.

BEST MOBILE SERVICE I'VE HAD!
I have been a verizon customer since 2007 and never had any problems with their service. Customer service is really great and they go to great lengths to help you with any questions or problems you may have. Mobile service is great I never have had a dropped call or interference of any kind. My hat goes off to you Verizon for your overall great service.
