customer service phoned me Friday and sorted out a small problem i had with a return which I think was more the fault of the store i returned it to than Very but it was dealt with to my complete satisfaction and i will definitely shop with you again and recommend you to everyone i know. Thank you.
Missed one call from customer service to confirm order. No further attempt made to contact me again either by phone or email. Called several days later to check order, as status on my account said it had been sent to collection point. Order lost on system. No further contact to update me on my order. Had to chase again. Told order will be ready to collect 2 days later. Called again to check status, told order cancelled. Will not be buying from Very again. Very disappointed.
I bought russell hobbs microwave combination oven which made a load noise to begin with but at this time i thought nothing of it the noise seemed to go away after a few minutes. Two months later i decided to put some chicken and chips in the oven which usually takes 20 minutes ten minutes into that the fire alarm went off. i rushed back the the oven the kitchen was consumed in smoke and the oven was on fire i quickly turned off the oven pulled the burning tray out and threw it into the sink. Later that day i phoned Very uk and told them what had happened, i was promtly told chips do not take 20 minutes and that that time was very excessive... Now if there was a quicker way of cooking frozen chips in a conventional oven i think i would know about it. when i explained that the time given by the chips company that they printed their time of cooking on the bag and it said 20 mins she put me on hold to talk to a manager. i was then told that i must have used the microwave. i might ad that the settings on the oven are very simple. you press convetional it asks you what temperature you want then you set the time and off you go, The microwave settings are also simple but temperature is shown in a completely diferent way so I know i would not have made the mistake and used microwave instead of conventional oven.
It was my fault before they even took the microwave combo away to test it. They did ask if any damage had accoured to the oven but did not ask if i was ok. if we did not have a fire alarm six families about me could have ceased to exist due to this product and the only thing very was interested in was who could take the fall before even checking the product. The assistant said she would call me when she has spoken to russell hobbs on the tuesday.. by the friday I had to call them to ask them what was going on. When i called and was put through to this person she said hello and my name. Now i know what a "oh it's you again...." greeting sounds like and thats exactly what i got, She said she was waiting for an email. apparently the manufaturer was away in the middle east, a simple call to me to let me know what was going on would and been exceptable but no.... I have to call them and i am then spoken to like i am just making her day difficult....
Recently brought a new laptop from them. Once set up I found the laptop to be faulty so contacted them to tell them and was asked to contact Acer to have it repaired. I rang Acer to book the laptop in and during the conversation it came to light that this laptop had been pre owned by someone else and in fact only had 6 months left on its warranty. Laptop was collected and taken in for repair. Mean while I emailed Very to let them know of my findings. I received a email back to say that they would investigate it and was passing my email on to a specialist team. A few days later I received a phone call from Acer saying the laptop had been repaired and was on its way back to me and yes had definiately been pre owned. I then got a Phone call from Very apologizing and saying they would pick up the laptop from me for return and once back I could re order another one and that they would give me some conpensation for the incident. Laptop was picked up and returned to them. After about 3 days it appeared on my statement that the amount for the laptop had been deducted but they were still charging me postage and packing!! So I then had to email them again to complain, this was then deducted from my account but no message about any compensation. So I had to email them again...my email was then forwarded again to the specialist team who emailed me back to say once I had ordered another laptop they would give me 10% off my purchase. I ordered a new laptop which arrived the next day. This one was brand new and so far appears great. I then had to email them again to get my discount....which was hardly much after all the hassle. My account still said I owed them money by the 4th April as it had not been altered. So then had to email them again to get that done. So not impressed by the service so far. Once my laptop is paid for I doubt I will be ordering from the again. Had to add that all my emails from them and my phone call have been very polite and helpful. Buying a new laptop from them has been a very annoying experience
I ordered a coat online which was £22 plus I paid £3.99 delivery, and was given a delivery day. A couple of days after I was meant to receive my coat I had a letter saying my order had been cancelled and it was out of stock. My account was then put into credit, so I looked online for something else, then I found the same coat I had ordered online but at a different price of £45. I was very disappoint that I couldn't have the coat for the price I had paid. I have written to very twice and I'm still waiting for a response for very to refund my money and cancell my account because I will not be buying from very again to save from future disappointment!
I ordered a rag doll for my God Daughters 1st birthday, so a very important purchase! The doll was really lovely, even more so than expected. She arrived ahead of time and I was informed of progress every step of the way. I will certainly be shopping with Very again, as this was my first order with them and they have proved to be excellent.
I ordered an item, paid an extra £1 to have it delivered between 7&12am and by 3pm it still hadn't arrived. When I called to ask where my item was I was informed that 'sometimes an order had to be verified and that was what had happened' I pointed out that didn't they think that maybe an email/text would have been useful to let me know seeing as I'd waited in all day for this, wasting my day off. The response was they could rearrange delivery for the Monday which was of no use to me as I would be at work. I said I just wanted to cancel the order which he said would be done. I then received an email saying that my item would be delivered between 7&12am on the Monday! Couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery!!!!
I bought a Samsung tablet for my wifes birthday as she was having trouble getting to grips with the samsung netbook . and could nt believe the difference She loves it and it seems so much easier to use besides doing practically everything you can on a laptop . She was really pleased with it . So much that i ordered the same one for our daughters birthday . Hoping she will be as pleased as my wife . did . Oh happy days . I recommend the Samsung Galaxy tablet 3..
I would definitely recommend VERY to you. The products are VERY good, the quality is VERY good, the price is VERY good. On top of that, delivery is VERY prompt. I cannot find fault with VERY and I will definitely shop with VERY, again and again.
I purchased a wardrobe from Very and the whole experience was upsetting, frustrating and rage-inducing. My order didn't arrive when I was told it would, despite me calling to check on multiple occasions and taking the day off work. No one was able to help me with this problem - Very blamed the manufacturer, and the delivery company blamed Very. I didn't care whose fault it was, I just wanted someone to help me and tell me when I would receive my order but no one could do this. In the end I was so fed up I cancelled my order and didn't even receive an apology. As a result I would never buy from Very again and would strongly persuade others not to either.
Ordered over £50 worth, estimated delivery date nobody turns up, convene for redelivery, told there would be no problems, no redelivery, redelivery which was due to, not showing up all day in the first place. When I called very I got a ''sorry mate but for some reason your order started making its way back to us from the first day of delivery, delivery that never occurred, very C.S then explained that normally they do 3 delivery attempts before returning an order and that he couldn't understand what went on and I'll be refunded when the order returned, guess what, I was refunded the 3 items but not P&P, why would you hold back the cost of a service that your sub-contractor didn't provide? I'm in the e-commerce industry too: 1) we offer a resend or refund at customer's choice free of charge. 2) if a customer ends up being unhappy and wishes to return their order, it is at their cost but on receiving of the order we refund the entire initial cost of the order. I never refused delivery, your contracted courier didn't attempt 3 deliveries BUT YOU KEPT THE P&P !!!!!!!!!! I have read nothing but god-awful reviews about your company and have learnt the lesson, mouth to ear marketing is clearly not your stategy to success but screwing over thousands of people once clearly is. A despicable company with bent policies/ values.
