Service was very good but extras are hidden until the end and changed my final price from approx £156 to £194.
Bought 2 tickets for Jo Cocker, at Hammersmith Apollo recently.Tickets cost in excess of £80 each.
When I received tickets they were clearly printed '£42 maximum price'.
What's going on?
Booked tickets online with no hassle. Did get a little worried tickets wouldn't arrive on time but they did! Price for admin a bit steep though!
I ordered P!nk tickets THREE days before the event. I got constant emails on the status update and when they would be delivered. When the courier tried to deliver and failed as I was at work Viagogo emailed to tell me! Then confirmed safe delivery and even wished me a good time at the event!! Super star service. I will DEFINITELY use again!! Great price too!!!
I didn't realise until it was too late the price I was paying was over double the original price. Never again.
I missed out on tickets to The Postal Service in London because they sold out before I even knew they were playing here. But I found tickets on viagogo for only £5 more than the price they originally sold for. I received my tickets a week and a half before the event and had a wonderful time. I was a bit worried as I had never bought tickets on the secondary market before, but everything was quick and easy to organise and I had a great time.
Purchasing the tickets were easy however on arriving at the O2 we were refused entry & told our tickets were fake as the original seat tickets had been cancelled!! Not a happy experience and still going through the process of trying to obtain my money back :(
I appreciate you have to make a profit, but I think that paying approx £300 for three tickets, when the tickets showed a price around £67 each (so a total of £200) is a bit extortionate. I shall certainly shop around next time I need to buy any tickets.
I purchased 2 tickets for Muse in Coventry on 22nd May at a cost of £200, I bought these tickets in January and until 4 days before the event everything was fine. I received an email from Viagogo telling me the original seats I bought were unavailable and the offered me other seats. I accepted the seats and then 48 hours before the event was contacted again to say they had to change the seats again and as it was 48 before the event they would send the tickets to our hotel in Coventry. 24 before the event I called Viagogo to ask if the tickets had been sent and they said they had'nt so we would have to pick up the tickets from the box office on the night. We arrived at the stadium to pick up the tickets and SURPRISE, SURPRISE the tickets are not there. Even the man working in the box office laughed when we mentioned Viagogo. I called Viagogo immediatley and was told they could'nt get the tickets and was offered a half-hearted apology and was told they would refund my tickets. It's now 3 days later, I have called viagogo 3 times and each time have been promised a call back from a manager. Still waiting for the call, and still waiting for my refund...........PROFESSIONAL CON-ARTISTS!!!!!
My transaction ID is 2789978,
I have spoken to 3 different people over the last 3 days, every time I have been promised a call back, I'm still waiting. You know what the issue is, so please refund my money!!!
We ordered tickets to Andrea Bocelli in Prague from Norway, and they came very quick and delivered to where we wanted it. The only down side was the price of delivery of which we had no options.
That really says it all doesn't it? What more can there be? Everything worked as promised without a hitch. Job well done!
Was dubious about purchasing e tickets. Glad I did though. Left it too late to purchase direct from venue so next best alternative. Easy to use website, prompt email with printable e-tickets. As promised. Great seats and all 4 next to each other. Would recommend.
my tickets hadn't arrived until 2 days before the event, its very worrying to feel that your tickets wont arrive at all. so lack of organisation and they should have chased things up themselves rather than waiting for me to complain and then chase up afterwards...the tickets on the market price were indeed over priced by £100 when it should have been £50 or included within the extra admin costs that were added on top... I was told that if my tickets didnt arrive then i should get a refund??! whats the whole point in building up your experience something and then get a refund...unacceptable.
Fantastic venue at the Royal Albert Hall, but poor customer service who mentioned that there weren't no guarantee if something should go wrong...it just shows that they only care about themselves and not the consumer!
Sadly i wont be using Viagogo again...very disappointed.
Managed to get Lana Del Rey after they'd sold out was absolutely delighted great service. Viagogo would defo recommend.
Double check all other sites when buying, I paid over £30 more PER TICKET fir Alisha Keys in Newcastle. Absolute joke
I was a bit unsure at first as this was my first time buying from a ticket webiste. I was not 100 percent confident i would get them etc or on time but i must admit everything was brillient. I purchased 2 tickets in the front row at a good price for Alica Keys. It was really easy choosing your seats and purchasing tickets. The whole process of buying the tickets and the information throughout was brilliant. I was kept informed all the time and informed when my tickets were sent and even on the night of the concert i was e-mailed if i needed any more help or assistance which was first class and really helpful. No complaints what so ever. The only thing that worried me was the time it took to receive my tickets. The money came out of my account straight away but i had to wait a few weeks for the tickets to come that was my only concern. But overall brilliant and would definetly use Viagogo again :))
Got tickets for the channel 4 comedy gala at a reasonable price - front row! As it was my first time buying on Viagogo I was a bit concerned, but their policy of not paying the seller until the buyer has participated in the event convinced me. All very simple and easy. I've bought some tickets for a concert in July and hope that goes as well.
Tickets were so easy to obtain - I never thought that we'd be able to get them.....Eric was world-class. I'll definitely use the Viagogo site again. I was a little bit wary, when I got to the NEC, as I saw on the TV that someone had bought fakes from them, altho' they were then offered an alternative show. That would have messed us up, as we were going on holiday next day! Anyway...WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Did exactly what it said on the tin.
Really efficient, booked the tickets on the user friendly website without issue and they arrived really quickly. However I thought the admin, postal, service charges were very high, with two £20 originally priced tickets coming to £116 . But in all happy with viagogo.
The website was very user-friendly. Dispatch of tickets was speedy and reliable.
Fulfilling the dream to watch tennis became very easy and all thanks to ViaGoGo.
Tickets came on time and everything went without a hitch. Will use again.
Why can't I buy a ticket direct? Why do I have to go through you and pay two sets of commission which more than doubles the price of what I buy, then have to wait forever to have the actual ticket delivered? There's no feedback mechanism, no way to call or contact so it's something you'd use only if it's imposed (as it must have been here) by the ticket seller.
Show was fantastic but spoilt due to the fact we were in viewpoint of the stage help from the side, opening curtains and preparing for new screens. Quite distracting for those with short attention span.
Also the price almost doubled after finding seats and adding on VAT and handling charges for tickets we had to pick up from the box office, would have probably been better going along on the day and chancing a cheaper last minute ticket on the day as i had wanted to buy the ticket as a gift and ended up with no gift to present before the show
thanks for wishing enjoyment on the day of event, rcved the tickets within a week from the day of release brilliant
I got tickets for the Chelsea Flower Show with Viagogo with a few clicks. The procedure was clear and easy and felt very secure as they guarantee the purchase. I got my tickets 2 days later and I was thrilled! Thank you
So my friend and I sadly were too late to buy tickets for Pierce The Veil (17th May 2013) for London in KOKO Nightclub, but we really wanted to go as this would be our first concert ever, we are 15 & 16 and Pierce the Veil is our FAVOURITE band. I was so happy when I found Viagogo because it gave us a second chance and we managed to buy one email ticket for myself and a posted ticket for my friend (mine costing £45 and hers £55 for shipping etc-when the original tickets were £14). Whereas mine was emailed 2 weeks before the concert, hers did not arrive until the ACTUAL DAY. Viagogo had sent an email to my friend saying it would come on the Tuesday or Wednesday of that week (the concert was on a Friday) but when the ticket didn't come we were soooo upset. We thought we had been ripped off, and well, you can imagine our distress. However, on the day of the concert our worries were put to an end when the ticket came WHILST we were in school. Ridiculous!
We got to the concert with no problems after that and it was great, but we will not be buying from here again. You can imagine how upset we were and our stressful situation.
If you are planning to to buy tickets from here think again, but if you are like us and really desperate and there is no other ticket place, then try to buy an emailed ticket as we would not wish the stress we went through upon anyone.
I have now received the 2 Barbra Streisand tickets I purchased which have cost me £170 over and above the face value of the tickets. Yes, I have got the section and row I paid for which is good but the hassle I have had with promises and communication has been stressful. When I purchased I did not appreciate that the company actually sell you tickets they do not have at that time and are therefore some times NOT able to fulfil their promise. I feel fortunate to have my tickets and am just praying that they scan correctly at the o2 as some reviews indicate there can be serious problems. I will not feel secure until I am sitting in my seat. My view is MAKE SURE YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE how this company works before you comit to buy.I personally will not use them again as I found it too stressful.
Have now had their reply:-
"We automatically deactivate listings when an event is too close, as we need to ensure that the buyer can receive the tickets in time for event.
If you see that there are tickets listed on the site and you are unable to list the tickets, other sellers may be listing e-tickets which can be listed up until the day of the event.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter"
Well, my understanding is that this is a useless reply!
Surely I should have been informed that my listing had been automatically deleted!
I brought two tickets off viagogo for a beyonce concert at the O2 arena in London and yes they were expensive to begin with and then the booking fee on top which amounted to 50 pound was ridicules but daft people like me are willing to pay the money! Nevertheless, I received the tickets over a month before the event, I had no problems entering the O2 and enjoyed an amazing show! Viagogo even sent me an email before with a contact telephone number just in case I had any problems. Customer service was very good, the only issue I would warn others about is that you may be paying up to 4 or 5 times of what the face value of the ticket is and look out for the booking fee!
I bought 2 x Micky Flanagan tickets over a year ago at a huge sum of money (just under £150) for tonights performance at Fairfield Halls Croydon for an 18th Birthady present & was told only yesterday that Viagogo's agent let them down so I wasn't getting the tickets. I was livid ~ Apparently they'll give me a full refund (I should hope so, but with no other compensation at all).
I went directly to Wimbledon theatre where Micky Flanagan is playing there next week & managed to buy the last 4 (YES 4) for just over £100.
Considering Viagogo's slogan on their very first page says 100% guarantee I don't think this is very good at all.
In Reply to yours my reference No. is 56989858 & the money was taken out of Mrs Betty Reynolds account on 18th May 2012 for £149.39
We bought tickets for Bastille at the Colston hall in Bristol. My wife was told the tickets are £43.00 each but with booking fees and postage it would be £56.00 each. She thought this was expensive but knew that most companies have a high mark up on the booking fee and postage. The tickets arrived shortly after to our amazement the price on the ticket £16.00. Then consider these tickets have been bought on behalf of our 15 year old daughter, It leaves a real bad taste. I would highly recomend that people stay well clear of this company. If I could give no stars I would
I'm gutted! As with the lady underneath me we booked tickets for Froch V Kessler on 9th May but after hounding Viagogo they have now told us they cannot supply our tickets!
We have paid hundreds on travel and accommodation only to be told they will try to replace our tickets but I don't know how they intend to do this when they are on eBay for double the price we paid now. They have told us they can refund us but we have been looking forward to this for months, this is literally going to ruin my summer. This may sound like an exaggeration but we have saved up for months, and we are avid Froch supporters, this is the fight of the century.
I am absolutely disgusted with this situation and urge anyone considering going anywhere near Viagogo to STEER CLEAR!
Booked tickets for Froch vs Kessler back on 4th Feb costing over £400
5days before the event (today) after having spent an additional £1000 in arranging travel, hotels ect (all which is non refundable), I receive an email telling me they're having trouble getting my tickets but are still working to find out the delivery status. I called them immediately only to be told my tickets have been confirmed as unavailable...which means I was blatently lied to in the email! I've been told within 24hrs they'll let me know whether they've managed to locate replacement tickets....what a load of rubbish. This event sold out within 2 hrs and there's not a chance they're going to find me any tickets now that are the same/better than the ones I bought.
I was told 'if not, you'll get a refund'. Well I don't want a refund, I want the tickets I paid for 3 months ago and a reimbursement for all the money we're going to lose as a result of their utter deceit! Not to mention the days booked off work to attend, childcare for whilst we were supposed to be away in London (from sheffield) and basically the inconvenience full stop. I'd also like to know why I was lied to about the status of my tickets.
Ill be back tomorrow to let you all know that as expected, I won't be getting any replacements either.
Disgusting service
If by tomorrow evening I have infact been provided with new suitable tickets, I will indeed eat my words and make an apology.....but I think we know this isn't going to happen!!
UPDATE: waitin to hear I what happens! Trans ID 2849315
The whole process was very efficient. I bought the ticket the day of the event (Beyonce) and had to pick them up from a hotel in town, the staff were really friendly. No problems at all with ticket and entry and was assured that if there was any problems i would get all my money back. Would deffo buy on viagogo again and have recommended to all my friends, as most are skeptical about buying tickets online.
Everything went smoothly. BUT...
BUT: the ticket prices printed in the tickets and also at the stadium cashier were just half of that I paid to the Viagogo plus service fee (delivery by email). In that way I paid about 390 euros for the tickets, that were worth 160 euros!
Be careful, somewhere else you could find the same tickets and save a big money!
