I was a little apprehensive at first at purchasing tickets online as it was for my daughtrs first concert, emailed straight away with tickets, I printed them off and we went to the concert (JLS) and it was amazing! Thank you for a worry free transaction :)
It annoys the hell out of me the fact that companies like yours buy up all the presale and early general sale tickets that I missed out on and then I have to buy them off you (the same tickets I missed out on because of you) for double the price. It is wrong.
*best thing about Viagogo is it is a safe and reliable way of getting event tickets
Very good, was concerned going through a website not known to me but glad I did. Very helpfully even with the cancellation of the show keeping me regularly informed and on the new date. Tickets arrived very quickly when didn't expect them until 4 weeks prior to the date. Would recommend again
Buying tickets second hand introduces a stressful delay in obtaining the tickets. Basically you can't be certain that you will attend the event, only that you won't pay if you don't.
At these prices you can travel to other venues with greater ticket availability and pay the same.
I had never heard of Viagogo before.I needed tickets to see White Lies in Glasgow and got online a couple of weeks before the show date.I bought 2 tickets for £36,which was a saving of £8,as face value was £20+£2 each.I got the tickets through the post in ample time and enjoyed a great gig.I would certainly use them again if i could get a similar deal.Obviously, and bearing in mind other reviews,i had no problems with anything, and i tend to judge these sort of things by how they treat you when i doesn't go to plan, but i have to give 10 out of 10 for my experience based on this event.Thank you!
I bought a ticket last Friday for a show tonight, Monday. I knew it was short notice, but was reassured by the guarantee on Viagogo's website, which states that if the buyer does not receive the tickets, they will be replaced or refunded. OK, I thought, and went ahead.
What a joke! Instead of the "world-class courier service" they promise, they used the regular mail service "guaranteed delivery". The ticket was posted on Saturday morning, but this service doesn't give same-day delivery, doesn't deliver on Sundays, and so therefore didn't deliver until today. Which means I'm at work, and not at the address I gave them, thinking, foolishly, I'd get them over the weekend. And they won't redirect "guaranteed delivery" mail. So I wasn't there to sign for my ticket, and they have it at the sorting office, but won't release it today, because that's their policy.
And Viagogo? They stated (without me asking) in an email to me that they were not liable for replacement or refund. I queried this, which directly contradicts their website guarantee, and they said it was because they weren't responsible for delivery, only for making sure it was posted.
So - no ticket, no replacement, no refund. Merry Christmas. I've reported Viagogo to the Advertising Standards Authority - that guarantee, as posted on their website, is unconditional, and misleading. As is their claim to use "world-class couriers".
PS Transaction ID = 3749113
..and I just got another email, from yet another "customer service" representative, denying that Viagogo has any responsibility. Jeez, like I need to hear that for the umpteenth time! We'll see what the ASA has to say about it.

We paid 3 times over the ticket price for a concert and couldn't understand all the Dutch so when we arrived at the venue and were told we had to pay an additional 4euro membership fee per ticket I was outraged. When I showed my invoice from you the venue was upset that I had paid so much more than asking price and asked me to report you to the police.
Please REMOVE me permanently from your mailing list. No more EMAILS.

Bought a $230 dollar music festival ticket and 2 days before the event viagogo sent me an email cancelling my ticket I have tried calling them cannot get onto them they said my money will be refunded but haven't received it yet very unprofessional and very disappointed, will not be purchasing anything with them again until I get my money back

This transaction was successful, but expensive. I would only use Viagogo as a last resort, because they were of minimal use when things went wrong on tickets I bought after I booked the Jools Holland concert. I wouldn't recommend them to you.

My experience navigating around the site was very good and straight forward. What would have improved my experience would be a seating plan on the site to the venue where the show would be held.
Instead I had to research myself in order to check if the seats were in a good place.
Lastly when I purchased my tickets I notice it had a gentlmans name on.,.. Mr Richards....
If I am buying tickets via a third person it would just nice to know it before hand, simple courtesy.
In conclusion I give my ticket buying experience 7 out of 10 :-)
Need not have worried. Purchased a £30 (less than the face value of the ticket!) for Bruno Mars ticket late on a Friday afternoon. For Concert on the following Monday evening in Newcastle. Ticket arrived by signed by post, first class, next morning! Incredible service. Incredible concert and the view from the seat was superb.

We came back from holiday early so could go to see Bob Dylan, but sold out, so found some tickets on Viagogo, paid my money and worried until I was through the doors of The Royal Albert Hall, excellent seats and good service.
Only problem was the pick up point was near Victoria Station and took me 10 minutes to find the place as massive hole in the streets so had to take a different route. It would be better if a name, not just a shop number was given, as no reference anywhere to Viagogo.
All in all A Very Satisfied Customer
The tickets I ordered arrived on time and with no fuss. But I was surprised to discover I had paid nearly £90 for tickets with a face value of only £40. That is a big mark up and I was given no warning of this at point of purchase. I suppose they have to make a mark up but that is going some! It felt me and my colleagues who accompanied me feel ripped off.
Great seats, fabulous concert, just rather irritating to read that the face value of the tickets is 25% of what I had to pay for them!
Purchased online from VIAGOGO 2 tickets for Andre Rieu concert in Dublin. The tickets cost €379.14 and I have now received the tickets and there face value are €80, what a difference. My advice is never use this site unless you have lots of money to throw away.
Good choice of tickets on offer, but your 'on costs' are extortionate. No-where near the actual cost of postage or processing. My 'on costs' doubled the price of a €65 rugby ticket to almost €130 which seems impossible to justify.
I wanted to sell my tickets, because I wasn't able to attend the concert. So, I was really happy to come across this site, only to be cheated at the end.
I followed the instructions, get the tickets in an envolope, meet with the UPS guy and send them as instructed. The concert was unfortunatelly canceled, which is bad luck for the guy who gut the tickets (but could still get the money back). However, I did my part but so far I haven't recieved any money and it's been more then a month since the concert took place.
There user service is terrible, I wrote them three emails, of which two were ignored and one replied: We are dealing with your situation. That was it.
Stay away if you can!
After months of trying to purchase concert tickets to see Bruno Mars we had a great night thanks to the excellent service provided by VIAGOGO.
It was a last minute booking however their prompt assurance and speedy ticket supply was reassuring.
I used viagogo 3 times in my life ... twice out of 3 something went wrong and it was usually on viagogo side.
Firstly, they charged me against their terms nearly 4 months ahead of the event and left me without the tickets until these were issued week before the event.
Despite of me trying to get my money back and be charged in line with their terms they kept responding to totally different queries, like they had automated response. I got the tickets at the end, but this was not a pleasant experience.
Second time I purchased electronic tickets just before the event, so nothing could go wrong and apart from their hefty fees where from ticket of face value $250 sold for $250 they charged $30 on fees ... I wish I had that commission ...
Third time buying tickets for an event in London ... Order gets cancelled, try to purchase again, order gets cancelled again ... Despite of viagogo claiming it is because due to fault on the seller's side they keep them on offer!!!!! so try again and suddenly my card is not good. Call my bank nothing is wrong, but viagogo charged my account twice despite of saying in the cancelled order that no charges would be made ... Do not use them if you do not have enough patience and enough money to deal with the mess they create.
And thanks to Trustpilot for not adding a button to be able to respond to answers by viagogo ... Very smart indeed.
I purchased tickets for Bruno Mars at the O2 Arena at 3.00pm on the day of the show and I bought fantastic level 1 seats right next to the stage. The whole process of using Viagogo was very easy I received confirmation emails straight away then immediately after my tickets were available for me to print at home. The price was also very good considering tickets in this block had been on sale for over £1000.00 I paid £59.00! I think reviews on this site that say Viagogo are a rip off and overcharge are very harsh as everywhere on the site it clearly states prices are set by sellers and not Viagogo there are plenty of warnings and prices are clearly displayed. This was the first time I have purchased tickets from this kind of site and I was very nervous in doing so but I would definitely buy tickets with them again and I would say try and leave purchasing your tickets until as late in the day as possible as prices go down drastically. Also we had a fantastic time and Bruno Mars was great and the seats were much better than the ones I had managed to buy from the official website for the previous concert where all I could buy was level 4.
Looking to purchase Chelsea fc tickets and found tickets at Viagogo. Could not buy them however until I joined Chelsea supporters club. Advised that it could take 72 hours following registration with Chelsea. Paid Chelsea on Monday and received confirmation from Chelsea that day, membership card the next day (Tuesday, Fantastic service from Chelsea). Called three different viagogo numbers, holding for over ten minutes on each number without an answer. Compiled an email and tried to fax it but came back "no-answer". On Tuesday managed to get through on a fourth number and was told there was nothing that could be done until the Viagogo details of my Chelsea membership was activated. VERY FRUSTRATING as the match was on the next Sunday. On Wednesday the account was activated and I purchased the tickets, VERY EASY after the initial frustration and more importantly the lack of information or ability to get information. The Transaction ID: 3717246.
For sure there was a price to pay for the tickets (over and above the face value, fees and VAT of approx. £10.00 per ticket) but these were clear before I purchased the tickets and purchased them will no hidden extras.
On Thursday (today) I am very happy, on Tuesday I was spitting feathers through frustration at lack on info.
Moral of the story, remain patient!!!!
I really wanted to see Depeche Mode's "Tour of the Universe", but tickets for the concert in May sold out in less than an hour......I got excited when i knew they we're coming back in November, but again tickets disappeared in the blink of an eye!!! I have tried other sites like eventim or stubhub, and truth behind told they are also reliable, but you can only get those crappy seats on the side where you don't get to see much of the show. Viagogo changed that for me, i was able or lucky, to put my hands on the best seats, sitting down right in front the stage and on the first row...Amazing!!
PS: I don't know who you are, but THANK YOU JAMES BENNET for one of the best nights of my life!!
