absolute disaster! DO NOT use, be warned

Bought a ticket for Rolling Stones in Abu Dhabi 2 weeks before the event and allthough I inquired several times when the ticket would be shipped, all I got was promises that were never held. Before leaving Germany to travel to Dubai, I changed my delivery address to the Hotel, but delivery message never came through. The day before the event I sent message again to Viagogo and expressed my doubt that the ticket would arrive in time and then I received the info that their seller (?) was not able to ship. For 2 weeks I was told that they are constantly in contact with their seller (?) to make sure the ticket would be couriered in time, in fact they did nothing but sending me pre-fabricated messages. With this last message they offered a refund which in the end I did receive, but with all credit-card fees, etc. it cost me $20 in the end for nothing! This was the worst experience I have ever made and it was the first and the last time I have ever used Viagogo!
People be very cautious to use Viagogo!

ABSOLUTE PANTS SERVICE

I am disgusted with the level of service received, I now have 2 children who are out of pocket by £140 and a very ill stressed mum of 80 due to trying to resolve this.

UPS was delivered Jan 2013 but just with a A4 sheet confirming booking, no tickets enclosed
It was assumed they would be sent nearer event.
This is not the case, seemingly they should have been in that envelope from UPS so Viagogo have washed their hands of sorting this out.
Edinburgh Festival theatre are more than happy to re issue the tickets if they get an email from the original buyer to say they have sold them on to me.
However VIAGOGO refuse to help any further saying the issue is resolved and no I cannot speak to a supervisor.
Your website says Guarantee, Seller will not be paid until after the event that the Buyer has went to.
THIS BUYER CANNOT GO BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE THE TICKETS
Your customer service advisor told me that is nothing to do with me and the call has been resolved.

Not been paid 5 weeks after events, customer service non existent. Be warned.

1. I have not been paid for 3 tickets sold in February (ID's 3917243, 3866486 and 3948816).

2. Different customer service people just tie me up in knots with requests for the same information. I sent the tickets as requested, spent sums of money posting them and still haven't been paid.

3. "Customer service" system is appalling. They send emails out from an address that can't be responded to. They give out an email address for you to contact which is like a black hole - you send in information and don't hear back again.

I have contacted them (Viagogo) either by email or dropbox 7 or 8 times now. Despite having my email address and my phone number, they don't engage properly and just send automated responses.

I have had a terrible experience dealing with this company and over one month since giving them tickets, have still not been paid and worse, they have done nothing to try and fix it.

Poor service and attitude....

On two different occasions I purchased tickets from them and they were not together, once a pair separated and another time I purchased four which I thought were together. The person in charge of ticket distribution said sorry can't do anything about it , all tickets are distributed, but write us an email and we will remedy the situation. They never responded to or remedied.

Still waiting on tickets.

I'm slowly tearing my hair out waiting on tickets to arrive for the Ireland versus France game this Saturday. The problem is I leave Friday! So I need them tomorrow or Thursday!!

I will lose my mind if I don't get the two tickets I paid 325e for in the next 48hours

Not impressed by Viagogo esp their customer service!

I purchased tickets for Justin Timberlake (3949301) on the 25th Feb 2014 for the concert on the 2nd April 2014 and Im starting to wish that I had seen this website sooner because the service leaves alot to be desired! Firstly the transaction does not even show up on my Viagogo account and the only form of proof that i have is the confirmation email that i was sent. when i called up customer services to inform them they said that it was a tech hitch - no mention of when it would be resolved or anything.

Secondly, Viagogo have swiftly taken the money out of my account despite not sending an email to say that the tickets are on their way which goes against what they have written in 2.11 of their terms and conditions. when i sent them yet another email about this, i was shocked to see that they just copied and pasted what was on their website as a sufficient answer - no personalisation at all - that to me is not customer service.

Thirdly, I think that its shocking that they insist that you only contact them with just three days remaining before the event and this doesnt seem to change if its for an event that was released months in advance by which time the seller would have received the tickets. I have read terrible reviews and it just leaves me worried that im going to inconvenienced by this company. i wonder how much so called 'contact' this company has with vendors to ensure that the tickets exist and that they are genuine. i think its a poor excuse to turn around and say to customers 'were just an online ticket market place,' as they are the ones facilitating these transactions. our event is on the 1st April 2014 and were still waiting for the tickets to be sent - any hint of incompetence then i shall take the matter further. i hope we will not be let down!

UPDATE: 18/03/2014 21:13 - Since Viagogo's response I am still waiting for an update on when I will be receiving my tickets as the event is not that far away now. I would like to know if they have indeed contacted the seller to find out if they have sent the tickets and when I will be receiving them. I do not believe for one minute that the seller is still waiting for the tickets to be sent to them as I know first hand that the tickets were released months ago! I will not be happy until I get the tickets that I paid for (3 tickets - Block 112 - Row A). I am learning a lot about the value of Customer Service just from this transaction alone!

UPDATE 23/03/2014 17:56 - Since the last update I have emailed Viagogo to find out the status of my order and I received another 'cut and paste' message, despite asking specifically if they have contacted the seller. I have read the reviews since I posted this message and I am very worried that the same thing is going to happen to me. Im not sure why customer services or Head Office are not taking heed of these reviews as it is not showing Viagogo in a good light? If it were my company I would be taking a lot more preventative measures to ensure that customers are satisfied with their Viagogo experience. It looks as if the Viagogo guarantee is being used a lot more than it should be. I wait for an update....

VIAGOGO SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

They take your money happily but don't deliver on the service. I'm 3 hours out form my event and am waiting for my tickets....customer service keeps you on the line for over half an hour and then my last email, was this:
"Thank you for the email.
We will call you shortly today for an update regarding the delivery or collection of the tickets for transaction 3939247.
We apologise for any delay or inconvenience." That was 6 hours ago.
Let's see if I get my tickets hey? Don't get duped like I did. Fraudulent companies should be closed down!

Looks like I have been duped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought tickets last year for my partner and friend to see Michael Buble this coming Saturday 1st March. Possibly foolishly, I have only just opened the attachment to print the tickets off.... firstly they are not even in my name so I have obviously received someone else's tickets and secondly I am horrified to find that the face value is 75.00 each and I paid 290.00 for the two. I genuinely thought I was buying her top class tickets as a treat. I have emailed for some response, lets hope I hear in time for the concert on Saturday. Someone along the way are having their pockets lined nicely and it should be illegal - absolutely disgusting. Would anyone know if I have rights to demand a repayment through Paypal?????

Tomorrowland tickets - no contact

I have bought two tickets for Tomorrowland festival. I lknow we have to personalize the wristbands with our names, but how can i do that? How can i contact the seller if viagogo has not inform me who he/she is or a way to contact the seller by myself??

shocking

Bought 2 beyonce tickets for my wife for her xmas she was over the moon. Paid altogether nearly £500 for these tickets. Recieved e mail from viagogo to say that al is well and that I shall recieve the tickets soon.....recieved another email to say that tickets were being hand delivered today by 4pm so I took the day off work to make sure I recieved them. ...no I didnt. Called viagogo to inform them that I have waited in all day and still no tickets.....they told me they would contact the seller and find out what the problem was.......they called back and told me tickets have been stolen !!!!! Wtf......so now they have said that I have not to worry and replacement tickets will be available for me to pick up at a local hotel on the day of the concert....shocking shocking shocking...never again will I use this company......will update this IF I get the tickets...

Yeah there was a problem alright......now I have to go to a local hotel on the day of the event to collect tickets !!!!!!....from who exactly ??....viagogo will only tell me a rep will be there and not to worry.......so I have to go to the hotel next to the venue which will be packed due to the concert and find a mystery person...hopefully they will be holding a very large sign which says viagogo on it......either that or I will be asking everyone if they are the rep !!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE. ..further to another telephone call with viagogo today which I was told yet again..not to worry about meeting a rep at the hotel to collect tickets...I tried to explain that I was confused as to who and where I was to meet this rep...told them that the hotel is right next to the venue and that it would be packed with people...so who is this mystery person I am ment to meet with tickets ???....couldnt give me an answer so I contacted the hotel and was told they know nothing of any ticket collection from viagogo.....VIAGOGO...cant wait to hear your reply on this one !!!!!!!

No Response from Customer Service

I bought tickets to a Stromae concert in April after reviewing for hours different tickets and prices I purchased two tickets through Viagogo. The tickets arrived a few weeks later, but instead of the carefully chosen seats I had purchased for 200 euros I received general admission standing room only tickets. I contacted customer service and scanned copies of my tickets as they asked. I then received an email saying I needed to re-scan the tickets which I did. This was on January 24th and I have now sent multiple emails and received absolutely no response from them. They have no number listed and they do not respond to emails even though they promise a 48 hour response time. I am very upset with my experience and hope to have a resolution to this problem immediately!

The Worst experience I have ever had! With any online service.

So I found two tickets on viagogo for a concert in Stockholm that was sold out right away. This was in the start of December. I bought these tickets on viagogo on the 30th of December. And I heard nothing, I got no confirmation exept my the transactionorder on paypal account.
I sent many emails, and called many times with no answer. So I wrote a review here with my experience. 3 days later i got an answer on this review and 2 days later viagogo called me up to ensure me that everything was ok, and they sent me a confirmation on the bought tickets. I told them, I live in Oslo, and I leave for Stockholm the day before the concert. And they told me to change the deliveryadress if I didnt recieve the tickets before the 10th of February which is today, and 3 days until I leave.

The confirmation email I got, states that in most cases tickets for events are not released until close to the event date, so I could expect to recieve the tickets right before the event. I have never experienced this before, and dont understad this. Tickets get released early, allways. And in addition, I know this concert was sold out months ago. So whoever selling me these tickets have bought them. And are reselling them. And therefor should be able to send me these tickets right away. Also, there is no way for me to get in touch with this seller, to se the tickets, or get any confirmation that the seller really have the tickets.

When I try to track the order now, it says that the seller has not yet shipped the tickets.
If I miss the concert, that is really sad, and will ruin the trip, but I can allways find something else to do that day. But The bottomline here is that Viagogo took 400 USD from me, over 2 months ago. And they have not provided that service I bought from them.

Conclution:
- I bought tickets for 430 USD
- got no confirmation for the purchase
- after 3 weeks got in contact with Viagogo ensuring me eveything is fine.
- Got confirmation on the purchase with the statement "tickets get released close to the event date" for a concert that was sold out two months ago.
- Now no more info, the tickets are not sent. And im short 400 dollars to a company that clearly can not deliver what they promice.


This is by far the worst most unprofessional and poorly informative company I have ever dealt with. And I do not recomend anyone using viagogo. I doubt I will recieve my tickets, and I belive I will have a really hard time getting my money back.

As I wrote in my last reviev. Is the event you want to attend sold out, and viagogo is your last resort, concider that event as lost. The stress and hassle brought on you by viagogo´s unprofessional structure is not worth it. All I want now is to get my money back. And never have to deal with Viagogo again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Tickets payment not received until now !!!

Very bad experience with viagogo.
I didn't received my payment for sold tickets.
Viagogo sent to me that the payment has been initiated and funds will be transferred within 3-5 working days. But i received nothing at all in paypal account.
I've called their support lot of times, and nothing new happens. They claimed that they resent the transaction again, received the email, and still no payment is processed.
This is unbelievable, this should be a fairly simple transaction to do yet they fail to do it.

I hope Viagogo can fix the issue, paypal is really not working at all.
And it's not my fault, they should either fix their paypal or provide other payment options !!!!

Viagogo - Do not use, was a total rip off

Purchased tickets for New Zealand concert, was sent confirmation of total cost amount in dollars. Assumed this was in New Zealand dollars as concert was in New Zealand and there was no indication of any other currency on invoice. $174.00 in total, however when credit card statement arrived, amount was $217.59 a total rip of in comparison to the actual price of the concert and at no point did Viagogo clarify that the cost was in USD. Asked for a refund but of course was declined. Will never use again and will tell 1000 people in my network not to use this site.

Customer Service Eventually Came Through

I purchased two e-tickets to Taylor Swift and stupidly put in the wrong email address. The transaction status is 'complete' and the track my order' states that I should have the tickets by now. I have tried emailing and calling but no response. I have raised a dispute with Paypal so hopefully this will prompt a response. After reading these reviews I am now very worried that I will never get a response. Trans ID: 3708773

Within minutes of posting this review I received a phone call from Viagogo and my e-tickets have now been sent to the correct email address

Customer service is dire!! - Left hanging on phone forever!!

My sister procured tickets for Bruno Mars back in May this year for the concert on Nov 21. It is now Nov 19th and she still hasn't received the tickets. We have sent several emails and after the usual umpteen selection choices on their customer service phone line have held for 20 mins plus at a time with no answer!!. I am flying from Northern Ireland to London with my 16 year old daughter tomorrow especially for this concert. This was a special present for her and am extremely frightened that she is going to be let down. Again my assumption was they were a ticket sales company not a ticket broker. Not impressed!!! & distracted with worry.....

Hopeless

After numerous emails and phone calls I finally received the refund due. Thank you Viagogo. Not sure why this had to be so difficult.

Notwithstanding multiple emails that Viagogo have received my emails and comments on Trustpilot I have yet to receive any meaningful communication regards me not receiving my tickets on time.

I reiterate that the guarantee as per their website is meaningless and as for customer service - they are pathetic.
