I purchased two e-tickets to Taylor Swift and stupidly put in the wrong email address. The transaction status is 'complete' and the track my order' states that I should have the tickets by now. I have tried emailing and calling but no response. I have raised a dispute with Paypal so hopefully this will prompt a response. After reading these reviews I am now very worried that I will never get a response. Trans ID: 3708773
Within minutes of posting this review I received a phone call from Viagogo and my e-tickets have now been sent to the correct email address
My sister procured tickets for Bruno Mars back in May this year for the concert on Nov 21. It is now Nov 19th and she still hasn't received the tickets. We have sent several emails and after the usual umpteen selection choices on their customer service phone line have held for 20 mins plus at a time with no answer!!. I am flying from Northern Ireland to London with my 16 year old daughter tomorrow especially for this concert. This was a special present for her and am extremely frightened that she is going to be let down. Again my assumption was they were a ticket sales company not a ticket broker. Not impressed!!! & distracted with worry.....
Notwithstanding multiple emails that Viagogo have received my emails and comments on Trustpilot I have yet to receive any meaningful communication regards me not receiving my tickets on time.
I reiterate that the guarantee as per their website is meaningless and as for customer service - they are pathetic.
Ok, we're now just over a week away from the concert that you assured me that you would provide GOOD tickets for as compensation for the screw up that you caused.
Where are the tickets?
Where is my email to confirm?
I expect to receive exceptional tickets in my hand within 48 hours.
Yes, thank you Viagogo for the ticket offer.
When I have the physical tickets in my hand, then I will believe the promise.
Also rather concerned that you said that tickets had not yet been released for this, even though these were in face released on the 8th November and are already showing on your site!
WILL CERTAINLY BE EXPECTING SOMETHING IN THE A/B/C SEATING AREA
NO RESPONSE AFTER 5 DAYS OF CALLING AND EMAILING...
NO CALLBACKS AS PROMISED
NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS
STAY CLEAR - THIS COMPANY IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED
Seated tickets were found and paid for a year ago for a Jessie J concert - £250+ paid for 2 tickets - 8 year old daughter very excited.
No word until a stock email a week before the concert, saying that tickets would be on their way soon - that was reassuring...
2 days before concert and still no tickets - so I called Viagogo. Eventually got through and was told that 'oh, actually we had an email from the seller(??) this morning...' - alarm bells as we were under the impression that our agreement was with Viagogo direct - '... he's asking whether you'd accept standing tickets instead?' - NOT IMPRESSED! Obviously said no and started to ask a few questions...
Turned out that the seller had 'accidentally(?)' listed his tickets twice and as such didn't have any!
Now where in any sense of business legality, is it ok for monies to be taken when there is no guarantee that a product actually exists?? 1 years worth of interest for every customer that is unfortunate enough to buy through these crooks is a nice little earner - irrespective of the mark up on the tickets.
So, after numerous calls, still no refund, no compensation (time, phone bill, daughter's upset) - have reported these to Which, Trading Standards and also pushed the article to some friends within the national press.
DO NOT GO NEAR THESE PEOPLE
Update after my wonderful stock reply from Viagogo:
READ YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAILS - BEFORE COPYING AND PASTING A STOCK ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU WILL SEE THAT I HAVE GIVEN YOU 4 HOURS (NOW DOWN TO 3) TO SOLVE THIS REFUND, COMPENSATION, INTEREST ON PAYMENT TAKEN A YEAR AGO, COST OF TIME AND PHONE BILL.

I had brought 2 one direction tickets from this site and they were delivered within two days. I understand that the site can be double the price but i was wiling to pay it. I was so happy with the site i will defiantly use it in the future. My seats were unreal! thank you viagogo for making it happen
I purchased tickets to Arctic Monkeys at Sheffield on the 02/11/2013. I bought this tickets from viagogo the first morning they went on sale - 5 months ago. I received a confirmation email saying my tickets would be delivered. It had got to today 30/10 that i was waiting for my tickets to be delivered. I received an email tonight 2 days before the gig saying that unfortunately our tickets would not be delivered. I called them to ask why this has happened and was told that the van on had 'LOST' them. When my girlfriend called up in regards to the same tickets she was told something completely different. I was then told by the contact on the phone (they don't have a contact number on there site) that he would try his best and give me a call back. I never got a call back. We have booked a train & hotel for the gig that is now going to be money down the drain. For 6 months they have had 220 pounds of our money.
Do not even bother with these guys as they are a JOKE. Even if they are 'the middle man' there should be more responsibilty on them. I guess my tickets are just blowing in the wind.
The company is a joke. I tried to purchase tickets 6 times. After it had said the transaction had gone through, I would get a message 30 minutes later saying the transaction was cancelled. This was both through the website, and their phone centre after waiting for ages to speak to anyone, and trying a range of different cards (to try and work around them saying it was a problem with my bank).
I tried one more time and the transaction went through. Finally!
Then I got another message about 4 hours later saying a transaction they had previously told me had failed had now gone through. So I had bought the same tickets twice.
I rang up to see what could be done. I was told they could cancel the 2nd transaction. I was told that I could also resell the tickets.
I was put through to another call centre, after another delay, and then told that someone would call me back. They didnt. I rung up again and after another delay I was told I needed to be put through to a special line. I waited on hold for 36 minutes. I hang up and tried again. This time I was told that the tickets could not be cancelled - even though the seller had not confirmed the tickets. I was also now told that I could not resell the tickets - because they could not guarantee the new buyer would receive them EVEN THOUGH THEY CANT EVEN GUARANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE THEM.
So I dont know if I have the tickets, and wont know until just before the event starts. And even if I did know, I couldnt sell them. The worst part is that the place I am supposed to get the tickets from is the exact same place any buyer who I would sell them to would get them from - the venue. So they say their system wont allow sales within 2 days before the event, even though I bought them in that time, and even through the seller would get them the same place I am supposed to get the tickets - viagogo's desk at the venue
So they have charged me twice, and two hefty commissions, but they dont have to provide you with any customer service because "they just provide a market between buyer and seller."
My transaction ID# is 3617629
- tickets announced received in the end
- customer service
- avoid not applicable fees, known as such from beginning
Tickets first announced as to be sent to home address, were then asked to be delivered to hotel at event city before changed to pick up at viagogo defined address 3 days before event.
It seems, that it's a common (viagogo customer service employee words) for football event to pick up tickets, which is fine, but would be good:
- not to ask for delivery fee which is actually not applicable (25€ "only")
- and let people know when eventually they call, rather then ask for alternative delivery address in the town of the event.
As well, the customer service is extremely variable depending on the person you are talking to. Ask for confirmation email every time, as some changes are NOT done by some of the people that you will have on the phone. So don't hesitate to call back, just to make sure (ok, if you make it through loong wait time on the phone).
But in all, we do pay higher price, that all the second hand market is about, so have to accept it, or else go and try find tickets elsewhere, but you eventually receive them ok in the end if you respect Their conditions.
Normally i wouldn't bother write a review, but i saw viagogo's rate is really low and some people think the site is fraud because they didn't get their tickets. First of all, if you didn't get your tickets, it's because seller didn't send it. Viagogo tells you in the beginning: "You are buying tickets from a third party, viagogo is not the ticket seller."
I don't exactly know what kind of guarantees they're giving on buying, becuse i'm seller, but they force you to require a credit card to list your tickets, and they say "if you don't send tickets on time, we may charge your credit card to buy tickets for buyer."
It seems there shouldn't be any problem but they have really low rate and much complaints. So i think source of all these complaints is careless/insufficent customer service -even though their responses to me was on time-.
If they improve it, they'd be great.
I have sold and get paid for 4 tickets (that means 2 more guys who didn't write a review -therefore you don't see- are actually happy with viagogo's service).
Payment was fast. They say it would take 5-8 days but i get it on 4th, even more it was Sunday.
It was a pleasure.
One day before my daughter is due to see the Artic Monkeys our tickets had not arrived. Having spent nearly two hours trying to contact Viagogo by email and on the phone I have received an email saying they did not have the tickets. they have had £175 of my money for the tickets since July and would not had previously emailed me to say the tickets had been sent. The worst ticket agency I have ever used. The tickets were purchased for my daughters 16th birthday present and she is totally devastated. Thanks for nothing Viagogo. I don't suppose you will pay me the interest you have earnt on my money over the last 4 months!
I AM ATTENDING THE JESSIE J CONCERT ON TUESDAY 29 OCTOBER. I PURCHASED SOME REALLY EXPENSIVE TICKETS THROUGH YOU AND AS I AM TRAVELLING TODAY I CHANGED THE DELIVERY ADDRESS TO MY LONDON HOTEL A WEEK AGO THROUGH THE CHANGE DELIVERY ADDRESS OPTION IN MY ACCOUNT. I NOW NOTE FROM YOUR EMAIL THAT YOU ARE DELIVERING THE TICKETS TO MY INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS AND YOU NOTE THE HOTEL AS THE BILLING ADDRESS !!! I CANNOT REACH YOU BY EMAIL OR PHONE AND I WILL NOT RECEIVE THE TICKETS IN TIME. VERY DISAPPOINTED...
3575907 transaction number posted.
I sold various tickets on September through the website called Viagogo with around 500 pounds but I haven't still got my payment back. Apparently in my account it seems to be everything alright so I don´t understand why I haven´t received my money yet if in their web site says that you will receive the payment after a maximum of 8 days after the performance.
The customer service is worthless because I also tried to contact with them twice 2 weeks ago ( via email), but none reply at all.
I feel really dissapointed and frustated because I don´t know whom I have to contact in order to sort my problem. I don't know what they are doing with my money!!!!
i tried to sell tickets for the tomorroworld event
you sent me an email said you need to contact me verify some details within 3-5 days.
it's been 14!!! days and no one called me or emailed me!!!

Would like to see an e mail address and telephone display on your website that everyone can see please?
Took the concern out of being "ripped off" for purchasing Eiuropa final tickets. The payment post event great for purchase confidence. Tickets tracked for delivery / service team responsive - good experience will use again
I used viagogo for tickets for the europa league final in amsterdam, and everything worked out perfect. My tickets were pricey considering the face value were €70, I paid over €200 for each ticket, but I guess that's be expected. The process was so easy that I didn't mind paying, because of how bad I wanted to go. I used PayPal just to be safe and chose the tickets which could be picked up on the event day. Arrived at the crown plaza amsterdam at the time given to me and I was in and out in literally 5 minutes. The next time I need European football tickets I won't hesitate to use viagogo again, and I will recommend the site to everyone else as well.
So I needed to get a ticket for the 2013 Europa League Final between Benfica and Chelsea, but didn't know how things worked with Viagogo. I took my chances because it seemed secure enough, although I was affraid I wouldn't get my ticket in time. Luckily, they told me when and where to collect it. All I needed to do was to bring my ID and a printed copy of the email they sent me saying my transaction was confirmed. I looked for a Viagogo representative at the lobby (I literally asked the receptionist where he was), and this representative sent me to a room in which some really cool people were taking care of that business with a few more Benfiquistas. It was a quick, simple and easy process. Plus, de seat was better than what I thought. I was seated next to a lot of Chelsea fans though, but it was a great match nonetheless and I know I'll count on Viagogo again.
I cannot say anything except the fact that the whole process of ordering and then collecting the tickets in Amsterdam was excellent.
Not a criticism but a suggestion if possible: I could not work out in any way in which actual sector my seats would be located. That may be because the actual allocation takes place later. It would have made it that much better if the info on ordering could specify where the seats actually were.
I shall be back for more.
I bought a ticket for an event which is tomorrow and I have still not gotten my tickets and not even a reply to my emails to Viagogo! What's the point of putting a phone number on the website if you don't intend to have human being answering them? And if you can't deliver the tickets, then have the courtesy to tell me early enough so that I can find ticket elsewhere (and obviously not through your website again!). Wonder why Viagogo is still in business?!
Just a word of warning...please don't use this company. I bought tickets nearly a year ago for a concert that was cancelled. I am still waiting for a refund. The only way VIAGOGO contacts me is via a review website. They are uncontactable have no customer service telephone number and the fax number customer services have given me is unobtainable. They say they are doing something - then all goes silent. I am wondering if any one else has had similar problems and if they have gone through the legal process to gain their money back? I am going to Citizens Advice to seek advice and will be ringing Trading Standards as well. I'd be happy to share my findings if anyone is interested.
I posted a review for Viagogo on this site on 12th September stressing my awful experience with them.
As with most poor reviews, Viagogo publicly reply to the post, apologising, then ask for a reference number so that they can investigate.
But all this seems to do is suggest that they are dealing with the customer privately.
However, this seems to be a damage limitation tactic.
Having given the transaction number (2070308), I am STILL waiting for a resolve.
I would like to politely ask Viagogo to not post a "We will investigate this for you" style reply, as all this does is take the concern away from the place I am trying to make it public.
Please investigate and then reply here. Thank you.
I have bought two tickets to see blink 182 at the 02 this saturday 9th june 2012, i bought these tickets over a year ago. I received an email summery straight away of my purchase and a statement saying i would not receive the tickets for 3-5 days before the event 100% guaranteed! well it is now two days before the event and i leaving really early tomorrow morning and still i have no tickets!i have called god knows how many times only to get so far into the robot call before being cut off! i have also sent four emails stating how urgent it is and for someone to get back to me and still nothing! seriously dont know what else to do, and the more i call them the more of my money they are making from the high costs per minute of phone charges, also what i find funny is that you are kept on hold on their 'customer service line' forever (mine was nearly an hour before i hung up) and yet if you call their ticket sales line they pick up straight away so they are quick enough to take your money! i have already paid for our coach tickets and our hotel which are non refundable but we are only going there for the concert so what a waste of time! seriously will not ever use them again and i dont recomend that anyone else does! sooo angry!
