They take your money happily but don't deliver on the service. I'm 3 hours out form my event and am waiting for my tickets....customer service keeps you on the line for over half an hour and then my last email, was this: "Thank you for the email. We will call you shortly today for an update regarding the delivery or collection of the tickets for transaction 3939247. We apologise for any delay or inconvenience." That was 6 hours ago. Let's see if I get my tickets hey? Don't get duped like I did. Fraudulent companies should be closed down!
I bought tickets last year for my partner and friend to see Michael Buble this coming Saturday 1st March. Possibly foolishly, I have only just opened the attachment to print the tickets off.... firstly they are not even in my name so I have obviously received someone else's tickets and secondly I am horrified to find that the face value is 75.00 each and I paid 290.00 for the two. I genuinely thought I was buying her top class tickets as a treat. I have emailed for some response, lets hope I hear in time for the concert on Saturday. Someone along the way are having their pockets lined nicely and it should be illegal - absolutely disgusting. Would anyone know if I have rights to demand a repayment through Paypal?????
I have bought two tickets for Tomorrowland festival. I lknow we have to personalize the wristbands with our names, but how can i do that? How can i contact the seller if viagogo has not inform me who he/she is or a way to contact the seller by myself??
Bought 2 beyonce tickets for my wife for her xmas she was over the moon. Paid altogether nearly £500 for these tickets. Recieved e mail from viagogo to say that al is well and that I shall recieve the tickets soon.....recieved another email to say that tickets were being hand delivered today by 4pm so I took the day off work to make sure I recieved them. ...no I didnt. Called viagogo to inform them that I have waited in all day and still no tickets.....they told me they would contact the seller and find out what the problem was.......they called back and told me tickets have been stolen !!!!! Wtf......so now they have said that I have not to worry and replacement tickets will be available for me to pick up at a local hotel on the day of the concert....shocking shocking shocking...never again will I use this company......will update this IF I get the tickets... Yeah there was a problem alright......now I have to go to a local hotel on the day of the event to collect tickets !!!!!!....from who exactly ??....viagogo will only tell me a rep will be there and not to worry.......so I have to go to the hotel next to the venue which will be packed due to the concert and find a mystery person...hopefully they will be holding a very large sign which says viagogo on it......either that or I will be asking everyone if they are the rep !!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE. ..further to another telephone call with viagogo today which I was told yet again..not to worry about meeting a rep at the hotel to collect tickets...I tried to explain that I was confused as to who and where I was to meet this rep...told them that the hotel is right next to the venue and that it would be packed with people...so who is this mystery person I am ment to meet with tickets ???....couldnt give me an answer so I contacted the hotel and was told they know nothing of any ticket collection from viagogo.....VIAGOGO...cant wait to hear your reply on this one !!!!!!!
I bought tickets to a Stromae concert in April after reviewing for hours different tickets and prices I purchased two tickets through Viagogo. The tickets arrived a few weeks later, but instead of the carefully chosen seats I had purchased for 200 euros I received general admission standing room only tickets. I contacted customer service and scanned copies of my tickets as they asked. I then received an email saying I needed to re-scan the tickets which I did. This was on January 24th and I have now sent multiple emails and received absolutely no response from them. They have no number listed and they do not respond to emails even though they promise a 48 hour response time. I am very upset with my experience and hope to have a resolution to this problem immediately!
So I found two tickets on viagogo for a concert in Stockholm that was sold out right away. This was in the start of December. I bought these tickets on viagogo on the 30th of December. And I heard nothing, I got no confirmation exept my the transactionorder on paypal account. I sent many emails, and called many times with no answer. So I wrote a review here with my experience. 3 days later i got an answer on this review and 2 days later viagogo called me up to ensure me that everything was ok, and they sent me a confirmation on the bought tickets. I told them, I live in Oslo, and I leave for Stockholm the day before the concert. And they told me to change the deliveryadress if I didnt recieve the tickets before the 10th of February which is today, and 3 days until I leave.
The confirmation email I got, states that in most cases tickets for events are not released until close to the event date, so I could expect to recieve the tickets right before the event. I have never experienced this before, and dont understad this. Tickets get released early, allways. And in addition, I know this concert was sold out months ago. So whoever selling me these tickets have bought them. And are reselling them. And therefor should be able to send me these tickets right away. Also, there is no way for me to get in touch with this seller, to se the tickets, or get any confirmation that the seller really have the tickets.
When I try to track the order now, it says that the seller has not yet shipped the tickets. If I miss the concert, that is really sad, and will ruin the trip, but I can allways find something else to do that day. But The bottomline here is that Viagogo took 400 USD from me, over 2 months ago. And they have not provided that service I bought from them.
Conclution: - I bought tickets for 430 USD - got no confirmation for the purchase - after 3 weeks got in contact with Viagogo ensuring me eveything is fine. - Got confirmation on the purchase with the statement "tickets get released close to the event date" for a concert that was sold out two months ago. - Now no more info, the tickets are not sent. And im short 400 dollars to a company that clearly can not deliver what they promice.
This is by far the worst most unprofessional and poorly informative company I have ever dealt with. And I do not recomend anyone using viagogo. I doubt I will recieve my tickets, and I belive I will have a really hard time getting my money back.
As I wrote in my last reviev. Is the event you want to attend sold out, and viagogo is your last resort, concider that event as lost. The stress and hassle brought on you by viagogo´s unprofessional structure is not worth it. All I want now is to get my money back. And never have to deal with Viagogo again.
Very bad experience with viagogo. I didn't received my payment for sold tickets. Viagogo sent to me that the payment has been initiated and funds will be transferred within 3-5 working days. But i received nothing at all in paypal account. I've called their support lot of times, and nothing new happens. They claimed that they resent the transaction again, received the email, and still no payment is processed. This is unbelievable, this should be a fairly simple transaction to do yet they fail to do it.
I hope Viagogo can fix the issue, paypal is really not working at all. And it's not my fault, they should either fix their paypal or provide other payment options !!!! Below are the details of transactions.

Purchased tickets for New Zealand concert, was sent confirmation of total cost amount in dollars. Assumed this was in New Zealand dollars as concert was in New Zealand and there was no indication of any other currency on invoice. $174.00 in total, however when credit card statement arrived, amount was $217.59 a total rip of in comparison to the actual price of the concert and at no point did Viagogo clarify that the cost was in USD. Asked for a refund but of course was declined. Will never use again and will tell 1000 people in my network not to use this site.

I purchased two e-tickets to Taylor Swift and stupidly put in the wrong email address. The transaction status is 'complete' and the track my order' states that I should have the tickets by now. I have tried emailing and calling but no response. I have raised a dispute with Paypal so hopefully this will prompt a response. My sister procured tickets for Bruno Mars back in May this year for the concert on Nov 21. It is now Nov 19th and she still hasn't received the tickets. We have sent several emails and after the usual umpteen selection choices on their customer service phone line have held for 20 mins plus at a time with no answer!!. I am flying from Northern Ireland to London with my 16 year old daughter tomorrow especially for this concert. This was a special present for her and am extremely frightened that she is going to be let down. Again my assumption was they were a ticket sales company not a ticket broker. Not impressed!!! & distracted with worry.....
Ok, we're now just over a week away from the concert that you assured me that you would provide GOOD tickets for as compensation for the screw up that you caused.
Where are the tickets? Where is my email to confirm?

Seated tickets were found and paid for a year ago for a Jessie J concert - £250+ paid for 2 tickets - 8 year old daughter very excited.
No word until a stock email a week before the concert, saying that tickets would be on their way soon - that was reassuring...
2 days before concert and still no tickets - so I called Viagogo. Eventually got through and was told that 'oh, actually we had an email from the seller(??) this morning...' - alarm bells as we were under the impression that our agreement was with Viagogo direct - '... he's asking whether you'd accept standing tickets instead?' - NOT IMPRESSED! Obviously said no and started to ask a few questions...
Turned out that the seller had 'accidentally(?)' listed his tickets twice and as such didn't have any!
Now where in any sense of business legality, is it ok for monies to be taken when there is no guarantee that a product actually exists?? 1 years worth of interest for every customer that is unfortunate enough to buy through these crooks is a nice little earner - irrespective of the mark up on the tickets.
So, after numerous calls, still no refund, no compensation (time, phone bill, daughter's upset) - have reported these to Which, Trading Standards and also pushed the article to some friends within the national press.
DO NOT GO NEAR THESE PEOPLE

I had brought 2 one direction tickets from this site and they were delivered within two days. I understand that the site can be double the price but i was wiling to pay it. I was so happy with the site i will defiantly use it in the future. My seats were unreal! thank you viagogo for making it happen
I purchased tickets to Arctic Monkeys at Sheffield on the 02/11/2013. I bought this tickets from viagogo the first morning they went on sale - 5 months ago. I received a confirmation email saying my tickets would be delivered. It had got to today 30/10 that i was waiting for my tickets to be delivered. I received an email tonight 2 days before the gig saying that unfortunately our tickets would not be delivered. I called them to ask why this has happened and was told that the van on had 'LOST' them. When my girlfriend called up in regards to the same tickets she was told something completely different. I was then told by the contact on the phone (they don't have a contact number on there site) that he would try his best and give me a call back. I never got a call back. We have booked a train & hotel for the gig that is now going to be money down the drain. For 6 months they have had 220 pounds of our money. Do not even bother with these guys as they are a JOKE. Even if they are 'the middle man' there should be more responsibilty on them. I guess my tickets are just blowing in the wind.
The company is a joke. I tried to purchase tickets 6 times. After it had said the transaction had gone through, I would get a message 30 minutes later saying the transaction was cancelled. This was both through the website, and their phone centre after waiting for ages to speak to anyone, and trying a range of different cards (to try and work around them saying it was a problem with my bank). I tried one more time and the transaction went through. Finally! Then I got another message about 4 hours later saying a transaction they had previously told me had failed had now gone through. So I had bought the same tickets twice. I rang up to see what could be done. I was told they could cancel the 2nd transaction. I was told that I could also resell the tickets. I was put through to another call centre, after another delay, and then told that someone would call me back. They didnt. I rung up again and after another delay I was told I needed to be put through to a special line. I waited on hold for 36 minutes. I hang up and tried again. This time I was told that the tickets could not be cancelled - even though the seller had not confirmed the tickets. I was also now told that I could not resell the tickets - because they could not guarantee the new buyer would receive them EVEN THOUGH THEY CANT EVEN GUARANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE THEM. So I dont know if I have the tickets, and wont know until just before the event starts. And even if I did know, I couldnt sell them. The worst part is that the place I am supposed to get the tickets from is the exact same place any buyer who I would sell them to would get them from - the venue. So they say their system wont allow sales within 2 days before the event, even though I bought them in that time, and even through the seller would get them the same place I am supposed to get the tickets - viagogo's desk at the venue So they have charged me twice, and two hefty commissions, but they dont have to provide you with any customer service because "they just provide a market between buyer and seller."

Tickets first announced as to be sent to home address, were then asked to be delivered to hotel at event city before changed to pick up at viagogo defined address 3 days before event. It seems, that it's a common (viagogo customer service employee words) for football event to pick up tickets, which is fine, but would be good: - not to ask for delivery fee which is actually not applicable (25€ "only") - and let people know when eventually they call, rather then ask for alternative delivery address in the town of the event. As well, the customer service is extremely variable depending on the person you are talking to. Ask for confirmation email every time, as some changes are NOT done by some of the people that you will have on the phone. So don't hesitate to call back, just to make sure (ok, if you make it through loong wait time on the phone). But in all, we do pay higher price, that all the second hand market is about, so have to accept it, or else go and try find tickets elsewhere, but you eventually receive them ok in the end if you respect Their conditions.
Normally i wouldn't bother write a review, but i saw viagogo's rate is really low and some people think the site is fraud because they didn't get their tickets. First of all, if you didn't get your tickets, it's because seller didn't send it. Viagogo tells you in the beginning: "You are buying tickets from a third party, viagogo is not the ticket seller."
I don't exactly know what kind of guarantees they're giving on buying, becuse i'm seller, but they force you to require a credit card to list your tickets, and they say "if you don't send tickets on time, we may charge your credit card to buy tickets for buyer."
It seems there shouldn't be any problem but they have really low rate and much complaints. So i think source of all these complaints is careless/insufficent customer service -even though their responses to me was on time-. If they improve it, they'd be great.
I have sold and get paid for 4 tickets (that means 2 more guys who didn't write a review -therefore you don't see- are actually happy with viagogo's service). Payment was fast. They say it would take 5-8 days but i get it on 4th, even more it was Sunday.
