Hi I've used Viator again for our Australian travel this time. I found it easy to use, the website is most user friendly even for we over 60's. The reviews were also very good at giving more detail of what to expect for each tour. I'm looking forward to May to experience these from Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin. Try them :)
I booked a trip to Mt Titlis after reading a lot of reviews from Viator website. I was not disappointed. It was a great trip combine with good weather and fantastic views of the surrounding area and countryside. Our guide, Richard, gave wonderful explanation of individual areas so that we can understand fully. It was a memorable moments. Love Switzerland. Very clean and safe country. Happy that I came here and experienced the culture, atmosphere and good clean air.
Just booked a snorlelling tour in Hawaii with Viator. I have done this tour before, but not through Viator. To find the tour, book it, and have full confidence in the process was so easy! Well done Viator!
We purchased the 5 day pass. The value for the money was good, but some of the vendors associated with the card were very un-cooperative and rude when we presented the card. We did successfully do about 14 activities over the 5 days. The Viatar website offered 25 places to go and things to do in the Las Vegas area, but when we arrived to pick up the card the seller crossed 4 of the locations off the list, so now we were down to 21. As of March 05, the following attractions had been crossed off the list of things we could do, but they were still on the web site of Viatar. The removed attractions were: Las Vegas Zoo, Eli Roth's Goretorium/Haunted House, Erotic Heritage Museum, and Mid-Day Lake Mead Sightseeing Cruise. Also Billagio Gallery of Fine Art in Las Vegas closed 2 hours early and would not admit us. The Put Park Miniature Golf employee swore at us for presenting the card, and said he wanted out of the program, but claimed Viator would not let him out. After a heated discussion we were allowed to play a round of 18 holes of Mini Gold. It is really sad, because most of the activities who would accept the card were very friendly and very respectful of our visit. To us, the best activities offered on the card are: Seigfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, where we actually met Mr. Seigfried in person, The Springs Preserve, The Mob Museum, Planet Hollywood Restaurant - $10.00 credit, National Atomic Testing Museum, and the Stratosphere Observation Deck.
We were thinking of hiring a car and driving along the Great Ocean Road but found a Viator tour deal which seems great value and well organised. The tour includes a day trip along the Great Ocean Road and a day trip to see the penguins returning from a day's fishing to Phillip Island. We are so looking forward to the trip in October. The tour was easy to book online.
not only in Australia but in several countries round the world, we have booked tours, transfers etc through Viator, always on time & very informative guides, they have never failed us,right down to the easy booking on the web site.
My husband and I are going on a trip to London and Paris. I have done a lot of research on both cities. Viator.com is one of the major websites that I have used in this process. The website is easy to use - not too much information, just the most important stuff with pictures and a great variety of choices. I will definitely use it again when we plan our next trip.
Every time we have used Viator, we have had the most wonderful experiences~~all over the world! They have never disappointed us, and the companies that they work with are reputable, accommodating, and trustworthy. No matter what happens, they make sure you are not disappointed. The excursions go to all the great sites around the world, and they make it easy and carefree to experience all the world has to offer. It's great to see the city you are staying in, but Viator offers trips to countries and cities outside of your home base. They will pick you up at the pier or at your hotel as well~~it doesn't get any easier than that! We don't travel without checking with Viator!
we booked our trip before leaving the UK.. Everything went fairly well we were picked up at our hotel in Barbados at am. Set off to pick-up another couple at a different location. Then 20 minutes into our journey the driver got a phone call from his control this was instructing him to return to Bridgetown in rush hour traffic and pick up more people who had booked at the last minute. The driver then had to go to Chrystal Heights which I presumed was there head office he had to pick up passes for the new people we picked up at the Hilton Hotel. Finally we set off over an hour behind schedule so the driver Kevin had to change the route to account for the time loss. We did see all the planned sights Harrison's Caves The Nature Reserve Lunch and Snorkeling with the turtles which was the best bit the boat captain Randy was a great help as I had never snorkeled before and I'm not a great swimmer so on his advice I put on a life-vest and listened to the instructions and into the water I went. This was a once in a lifetime experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. As I said things were a bit rushed because of what happened in the morning it did spoil the trip a bit and when I complained I was given £25 towards our next booking which I plan to use for Mexico later in the year.
Viator booked my helicopter excursion from my hotel in Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Satisfying me on one of the most extraordinary days of my life should have been easy for Viator, but we all know that things can go wrong. The trip went off without a hitch and with no suprises. Thank you to Viator for helping me to tic a couple of boxes on my bucket list!
My daughter was taking a trip to a resort in the Kissimmee area of Florida and need transportation from Orlando-Sanford Airport to Kissimmee. I used the Viator website and filled out the form on line with all of the required details on 12/23/13. The form listed the options which only said "Orlando area " resorts so I assumed that her resort in Kissimmee fell into that category( I even had to supply the resort address in Kissimmee). I submitted the application and used my Mastercard to pay. I quickly received an email with a link to print my PAID and CONFIRMED voucher, which I did. On 01/11/14 I called car service company directly (Carmel Limo) just to reconfirm that everything was O.K. and was told that there is going to be an additional $28.66USD for each way as Kissimmee is outside the "Orlando area", so I paid it using my Mastercard again. Then when my daughter called Carmel Limo from Bangor on 03/08/14 confirming that her car will be there the next day they informed her that she had to pay an additional $40.00USD or "she would not be allowed to get in the car". Leaving her no choice said paid the additional $40.00 using her Mastercard. I called Carmel limo to inquire way all of the extra charges and was told that the original price from the start was incorrect and should have been $103.64 just to the "Orlando area" resorts not $83.64 and the additional $40.00( $20.00 each way) was to cover the charge for being "outside the Orlando area". OVERALL I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I WAS MISLEAD AND FIND THIS UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT USE VIATOR AGAIN.
I find Viator has great information on their website which allows visitors to make very good decision each excursion has information on what to expect and hints about local customs a good date and pricing section easy to follow and most important I found them very helpful if there were problems all of which were resolved quickly and without has sell. I like dealing Viator and am prepared for their low cost tour to provide what they claim.
