I was on the phone making changes to my reservation and even though it was inconvenient to the girl on the phone she was fine. In the background I could hear some guy chewing me out and swearing at me about the situation. I don't know if she thought I was on mute or not but I did nor appreciate being sworn at. With that incident I will not be using viator again.
The Borghese Gallery seemed a bit intimidating for a first visit so we decided to take a guided tour with Viator.Although a little expensive it did mean we were shown round by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to self guide around the exhibits in the 2hour time slot allocated.Lindy our guide obviously cares about the quality of her presentation and seemed able to spark everyone's attention once she started showing us the important pieces on display. Her additional hour around the gardens again gave possible future visits to other parts of Rome.We visited the church of Santa Maria del Popolo with 2 extra Caravaggio paintings because of her recommendation.Well done Lindy and well done Viator!
It is a very good tour company. They are very responsive to your questions and needs. The flight time and the hotel location offered in the package are very convenient and obviously have put a lot of thoughts in arranging the package. Hotel offered very good price for the money. Completely satisfied with the location, the service and amenity offered such as free WI-FI, free computer usage and printout. Rental cars could be dropped off at your hotel. I am first time customer andt I am impressed with their vacation package. Will do it through them again.
I have been on several different trips with Viator over the years - day trips, evenings out and meals in special places like Sydney Tower. All have been efficiently run, seamlessly organised and good value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend Viator tours.
This tour was great. My tour guide picked me up from the hotel and away we went on the tour. My guide was sooo informative. I learned so much. And the plus is that I went by myself and met so many new people (who was on the tour with me). You know I find myself going on this tour again. It was just to good to keep it to myself. I have to share this experience with my friends.
When I plan my trips, I look to Viator to find cool things to do in the cities I am going to be visiting. Because I am a thrifty traveler, I compare their costs to what it would cost to book it myself directly and find them to be within pennies on the cost. Booking thru Viator is a very simple process. I appreciate their lenient policy for changing reservation dates when needed. I have had to do that and they made it so easy!
booked a number of tours in different countries that i would be traveling to over a 4 week period. because it was a little involved and because i have no transportation in these countries i was concerned as to where the pick up and drop off areas were in relation to my hotel. the people i spoke to on the phone could not be more helpful, consequently i booked these tours.....and am currently in the process of booking more
I have previously booked with Viator for a wonderful Tram restaurant experience. So why wouldn't I use them again? This time it's for a morning sunrise plus breakfast at the Olgas, and a sunset experience at Uluru. The thing that attracted me to these tours in particular was the size of the groups. Just 12. Would you really want to experience either of these with hoards of people chattering? It was precisely what we wanted to do to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Something unique to remember for the remainder of our lives.
We have used Viator on more than one occasion so were happy to use them for Paris. We changed our minds in relation to a purchased activity, their response to our request was immediate, courteous, and above all, we weren't charged for the cancellation of our original purchase. Can't recommend them enough, especially as their prices for all activities, no matter what city, are very competitive.
The driver was punctual and witty and his personality made for a fun and exciting tour!! The bus was very clean and safe. The driver reminded me a lot like Alan Arkin he was pretty funny. He was classy and generous. The group was small but they did not cancel like some other companies do. We visited 3 wineries and on the way he gave us some info the typical tourist may not know so it was insightful. We had a little over an hour for lunch in Yountville which is nice little town in Napa valley. Don't hesitate to choose this tour !!
Booked a tour to Hunter Valley Wineries in Australia. Process was very quick. Several tour options were available at different price points from reasonable to WOW - like the helicopter transpo to the wineries! Woo-hoo! That wasn't the tour I chose. EAch tour description was pretty complete, and easy to read so decisions could be made quickly.
The tour groups seem to be small-ish, around 16 people and seem to be guaranteed to depart since I saw reviews from people where there were only 3 people on the bus.
The vehicles look good, well kept, in the photos and no reviews saying there was anything shabby about the vehicles. Check out was very quick; the e-documents clear to understand, the Reservation # easy to find. My only suggestion to the company is that an interactive map be included to be able to make a decision as to which pick up point to book if the hotel one is staying in isn't on their pick up stop list..
All in all, a very pleasant online booking experience.
