Very poor delivery service, charged twice for cabinet

I would be very mindful of using Victoria Plumb to purchase items in the furniture. The quality of the cabinet I have purchased seems good and it was good value for money but the delivery service that Victoria Plumb use is not good and not at all customer focused. I had no option but to accept an early delivery time - between 7.00 and 10.00 a.m. which was relayed to me the evening before the delivery by email. When I tried to change this, I was told it could not be changed. I was ready for the delivery on the expected morning but the cabinet was delivered to the completely wrong address - and signed by for someone other than me. Fortunately the person in the other block of flats - at a different number to mine - and different named block of flats - phoned me and told me the cabinet had been delivered to them. I then made arrangements to collect it. When I phoned Victoria Plumb and told them they said they would refund me the delivery charge. I received my credit card bill a week or so later and found I had been charged twice for the cabinet and there was no refund on it for the deliery charge. I phoned Victoria Plumb again and spoke to someone very helpful in customer services - she confirmed that I would be refunded the second charge and the delivery charge immediately and that someone from Finance would email me to confirm when this had happened. I am still waiting for the email and really hope that I don't have to phone Victoria Plumb again if the refund doesn't happen! All this hassle other one cabinet. The products seem to be good but they need to sort out arrangements with their delivery company - it should be more customer focused - after all, they are the contractors with that company and also get their admin a bit tighter.
