EXcellent product let down by costly and lengthy postage.

I cerainly recommend Vista, particularly for their high quality calendars. You need to be aware that "normal" postage costs can be very high unless prepared to wait a long time for delivery. Look out for special offers when postage costs are much less and the products' cost discounted.

Great to Deal with

Hi There. I have found Vistaprint great to work with and will continue using them as and when I need stuff. However in my last order I felt that the image on the teashirt I ordered was a bit wishy washy. I am sure I have already mentioned this in a previous review. as I said It will not deter me from using Vista Print in the future but I felt it was necessery to mention.

Ideal affordable solutions for any start-up

I have used Vistaprint many times over the years for various products from business cards to websites and have always had a great experience. Their customer service is tops and respond very quickly to resolve any issues which may arise such as orders going missing in the post etc,. This has happened a couple of times when the couriers delivered to the wrong address and each time I've had replacements from Vistaprint within days and at no extra cost. I could even keep the original orders when they finally did turn up.

I'm happy with the quality of the products as well and the special offers and deals are well worth it. Start Up businesses would certainly benefit as the comprehensive range of products cover most of their needs at affordable prices.

My only criticisms are the leaflet and banner ranges which I find limiting. Roller banners, for example, are not available and as a Breakfast Meeting attendee hanging banners and garden notices are not suitable for temporary indoor use.

As far as the leaflets go, I find when I upload a PDF design only half of it appears in the Vistaprint layout, so this is a definite area that needs work as does the pricing/quantity which is quite expensive compared to other online printers.

WOW WOW WOW!

I have used these time and time again - AMAZING. I can get a vinyl banner, 25 brochures, 250 business cards and a mug all for under £6 (inc. VAT & delivery). YES PLEASE. I had one minor issue, but was offered a refund OR the order rerun. Out of the 20+ items I have had 1 had a minor defect.

Very good when things go wrong

We have been using Vistaprint for a number of months and have always found their products to be good value for money.

I ordered some items from Vistaprint using their 7 day delivery as it was free at the time due to a promo.

After 9 days my order hadn't arrived so I phoned Vistaprint and the lady I spoke to apologised and said they would send out my order again with express delivery so I should get it within 2 working days.

Things do sometimes go wrong when sending out orders, but can't really argue with what they did the resolve the issue.

Poor Service

Placed an order some time ago, the main items I needed the most and by the date quoted when I ordered them, were not available for some time, apparently the machine was not working, so I cancelled them.

I then got a monthly charge for a service that we only agreed to with the order, but as the order was cancelled, we requested this was cancelled.

We were advised there was no record of this charge, yet it was being taken from our bank account each month, we keep trying to cancel this, but not able to.

How can a company, take money from the bank account of a customer each month, against the wishes of that customer, and claim they have no record of that money being taken. .

If there is a facility within the online account to cancel this, then it is very well hidden, and not in the obvious places.

Initially refused to cancel order, had to keep the pressure on to get them to cancel.

When I mistakenly placed an order for our wedding RSVP cards, I asked to cancel it straight away. They refused. When I informed them that the UK distance selling regulations say I have seven days to cancel they said that UK law does not apply to them. They claimed that the process had already begun, despite the cancellation being requested within an hour of the order and on a Sunday. Generally polite but unhelpful considering they had charged an noncompetitive £70 for black and white postcards with a 14 day lead time. The guy on the phone told me he could not cancel it but to to mail ukcustomercare@vistaprint.co.uk

UPDATE: The email I was given for UKcustomercare@vistaprint.co.uk is unmonitored, I got an auto reply telling me they would not be responding and directing me back to their contact us page that I used in the first place.

UPDATE: After mailing them again via the contact form on their site they relented and cancelled the order, which is great news, it's shame about the initial response, that's why I'm leaving the rating as a three (some friction) ... you have to pressure them but fair play to Vistaprint ... they did the right thing in the end!

Terrible.

I spent 2 hours or so making a photo book, I saved it to to come back to. No warning that I needed an account of any sort to save. It just let me save. Waste of time, all my work gone. Will not be redoing the book or ever purchasing again.

Useless and Terrible customer service

I put an order in which did not arrive. Took them over 10 days to send another set out and funnily enough the 2 sets arrived on the same day ! Customer service were totally unhelpful and really patronising. They just kept repeating the same old rubbish that they had resolved the issue as quickly as they could. They could, of course, have sent the replacement as an urgent delivery - but they were not prepared to do this.

Quality of the cards was not good. The picture was small and looked out of character. The mouse mat wasn't particularly wonderful. But it was the disgusting customer service that really annoyed me.

Go to MOO.com - they have just done me some beautiful cards, no problem and early delivery.

Quality control and customer service not included in the price!

Edit: 8 Feb. Changed to two stars (i.e experience was bad, but no malicious intent on their part) in view of their eventually putting things right (see comments, if you can be bothered...).

Wanted some business cards, thought I'd try Vistaprint. Dispatch was rapid and the cards arrived well before the due date. The business cards are simply awful. It's not the actual print quality, which is acceptable for the discounted price I paid (but not for the non-discounted price!), but that they couldn't print rectangular artwork parallel to the edges of the card.

The cards edges are not parallel to the artwork, so there are wedges of white top and bottom, tapering from 1mm wide at one side to nothing on the other, and all the writing, front and back, is on a slope. I don't see how such a thing could get past even the most cursory quality contol, given the contrast against the dark grey artwork at the bottom edge.

Customer support is worse than useless. They are pretending that the cards were "printed as customized (sic)", even though the slope is not present in the images of the card in my portfolio. They are also trying to fob me off with a "goodwill gesture" of a "merchandise credit" for the cost of the cards less postage. Their obligations under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) and the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, with respect to items that are not of merchantable quality (and these cards certainly are not!) is a full *refund* (i.e. not a "merchandise credit" -- I'll never use this lot again) including postage.

Now beginning to wish I'd heeded the several warnings I'd had from friends about Vistaprint!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

I placed an order on the 4th January and expected delivery LATEST 25th January 2013. Today (29th Jan) the order still hasnt been received so I called them to find out where is was. I was told that they dont know where it is and when I asked for a refund they wont refund unless I call back in 2 days time.
She did offer to send out new invites but the RSVP date is 1st Feb as the party is on the 10th Feb so it would be a total waste of time.

I will never use them again, there are LOTS of hidden extras and unless you pay an extra £10-15 your orders are processed at a snails pace.

You must be joking! In the first place the prices quoted are not the prices you pay. There are all sorts of extras and you are given the total before asking how you would like to pay. Then you commit to pay and the final extra only appears when you go to paypal or visa, £15 to get it delivered! it just took me half an hour to upload so I thought have to pay now. When the calendar arrived with heads cut off and cropped all over the place I worked out that this is a company that thinks it can run a business without any human invovlement. I don't believe that the reviews on this site that fail to mention the extras and massive postage charges that are tacked onto the order before you finish can be real.

I have loved making photo stuff with Vistaprint and my family and friends have loved receiving them, I would recomend them to anyone.

My friend said she cried when she opened her calendar with photos of her children and mine together when they were young, and my parents said that they would not write on their calendar of family reunions. I have to say that I enjoyed making them as much as they seemed to have enjoyed recieving them. Give it a go, it's really easy and great value for my money. It is a gift in amillion, you can guarentee that no one else will have the same wall calendar, mug or desk top calendar as these. They are unique and also a keep sake.

Really got our business rolling with all our stationary needs from Vistaprint!!!

great one stop shopping for a business no matter what the size

i have used the company a couple of times and the only down side I could find was my own lack of ability to design the card I wanted. Everything else was good quality and timely delivered without costing me a great deal which is important to me as I am only in my first year of business. I will continue to use them again as I can do it from home on my pc and I know stuff will be with me in a few days and its so much easier than trying to go shopping during my working day.

have recommended this company to several people giving my opinion on the satisfaction of my product and treatment in ordering also the way it was handled. Would this company be willing to sponsor a conservation calendar if all the aret work was sent on a disc? to help keep roads and patheways clear of scrub for the public and wheelchair access.

GREAT QUALITY MATTERS ...VISTAPRINT DELIVERS !

Great quality is what we all want and at a great price - Vistaprint provides both - I was impressed with every thing about the products I ordered tho the items weren't packed as well in the delivery box and one of the desk calendars spring tops marked some of the other items put on top of it ... super fast delivery - nothing about the product is negative - however - the pricing structure can be very confusing and calling them up they were very very helpful and knew exactly what they were talking about and doing - and they did offer me a great deal .... another niggle was the amount of emails I received after the delivery offering this then that then the other .... then I wanted to switch off from them - far too many distracting and confusing offers that I couldn't be bothered to read - another real niggle was the item dimensions were NOT easy to fathom out so I wasn't sure what I would be getting - I called them - very helpful and nice people but again a little confusing as they are in Denmark I think .... so less of these niggles and a clearer pricing structure and it would definitely get 5 stars.
