Weird packing

Guys, I may not say that delivery took long, just several working days. However, my DHEA pills were delivered to UK from the USA in a vacuum plastic bag, in an envelope. I haven't ever seen such packing of pills. I expected a normal plastic "can", sealed promptly. I have doubts if the DHEA pills I received are true product and am afraid to use them. Have somebody received pills in vacuumed plastic bags ever? Are they safe to use? If Vitasunn representative can explain why the packing is not normal in comments to my review, pls do so.

MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED.........!!

Two days ago I placed an order with Vitasunn. So far I have not received any acknowledgement of my order. I have emailed them and had no reply. Both their freephone telephone number and their main telephone number are permanently on answer machine. Despite leaving two messages to telephone me, as they say they will on their voicemail, I have received no reply. On looking on google maps I see that this is not some proficient and professional factory, as it sounds by the address, but a suburban house in a suburban side street in Cambridge. Presumably they are out at their 'day job', and their Vitasunn customers can go hang. Very unprofessional setup. Wondering if I will receive my goods? Still - early days - I will see what happens.

UPDATE: Vitasunn is owned by a company called Westmedia, Ltd and is registered at the Cambridge address. This is only an accommodation address. The director of Westmedia, Ltd lives in Flagstaff, USA. Products are delivered to an address in Derby. They are delivered quickly if they are in stock in Derby. If not, they are shipped in from Flagstaff, USA and take 3 - 4 weeks, depending on how long Royal Mail sit on them. A company called Monarch Enterprises trades from the same Cambridge address, but is nothing to do with Vitasunn, although the owner used to work for them and does occasionally post Vitasunn products out for them. I found Monarch's tel. no. (01223 424513) and were rung back within an hour. The man was very helpful. The UK end of Vitasunn seems to be run by people who have absolutely no idea of how to run a web business, and have no idea that it is important to keep customers informed as to acknowledging orders, etc., but they do appear to be genuine and honest.

MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED ........at last..... on 05/03/13. It was shipped from Flagstaff, AZ, USA. This is average post time from the USA. They give the impression the stuff is posted from the UK., so we all worry when it fails to appear.

Be prepared to wait!

I don't usually write reviews but in view of the other comments I felt I should.

I live in the UK and I placed an order on 8 January for Pro-Gest cream. The website showed despatch as 9 January. After not receiving the order by 16 January I chased the company by email. I received a very prompt reply which confirmed despatch was made on the 9 January and my order should arrive no later than Friday 18 January. By Wednesday 23 January I had still not received the order and contacted Vitasunn again by email about my concerns. I again received a prompt and courteous email apologising for the delay and ensuring that a replacement will be sent to me. I was feeling very wary but this time!

Today, 28 January the original package arrived! The problem seems to lie with the fact the that the product that I ordered was sent direct from Vitasunn Inc in the States by standard US mail!! Hence the delay!!

I found there communication with me prompt and courteous under the circumstances so there was no problem there. I just think that people should be aware that some of their products may be despatched direct from the States so be prepared to wait!! I just wish Vitasunn UK had told me that is where it was coming from in the first place, as there is no reference to this on their site that I could find. It would have saved me a lot of worry especially as this is the first time I have used this company.

We at Vitasunn truly do our very best to process & dispatch orders quickly and reply to enquiries within 24 hours or less.

The vast majority of parcels are delivered within 4-7 working days. This is the case regardless of where they are dispatched from.
Unfortunately the postal services have had periodic 'lapses' in service that have caused a small percentage of packages to take longer.

As you have said; in these cases Vitasunn makes EVERY effort to keep our customers informed, reply to all communications, and ultimately resolve the situation 100%.

We truly are dedicated to our customers, and it pains us greatly whenever there is ANY delay in the post!

Thank you again for separating us from the delivery couriers :-)

Wish I had found this site

Placed an order on the 19th of December and it has not shown up, got some feeble excuses in broken english via e-mail. I've tried ringing and e-mailing again but have got no response.. I would avoid this company at all costs.

We do appreciate Mr. Quinn's assesment, and we share his frustration!
As you can see, the order was received the Wednesday before Christmas and was actually dispatched that same day!
The postal services did a fair job during the 2012 holiday and NYE season, but Mr. Quinn's parcel was not delivered by 02-Jan. I see in our records that we did, in fact, contact Mr. Quinn on that date to chase up his delivery.
I also see that upon learning that his item had yet to be delivered, we issued a full refund immediately.
We have not received his parcel returned, so ultimately he received his entire order at no cost.

I am the same person who corresponded with Mr. Quinn. Does this reply appear to be in 'broken English'?

Billige priser, men leveringen er helt ved siden af. Der går nemt 3-4 uger!
Min sidste ordre nåede aldrig frem. Så husk at bruge Visa, så kan pengene reddes!.

Claims to have sent order which wasn't

I ordered a product from Vitasunn which took forever to arrive. I emailed and asked when my order had been sent. The answer was it had been sent a week earlier. When the product finally arrived it was postmarked 8 days AFTER Vitasunn claimed to have sent my product.

I emailed the company about that very fact. Vitasunn did not email back.Neither is good customer service.

RESPONSE TO VITASUNN's REPLY:

As long as a company can label a customer "frustrated", they don't have to look at their poor business practice. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority and Vitasunn did NOT reply to all communication. If Vitasunn did live up to any of their own words, there would have been no need for this review.

We did reply to her final email, although it seems clear that our reply was not received.

As we explained to her; Due to her location our products must be forwarded through our UK offices. this is the reason the parcel she received was dated 8 days later than the original dispatch date.

This delivery time was definitely due to a postal delay. We do not control the post.

Still; We offered a full refund if the parcel was not received!

Our customers' satisfaction is our top priority.
We strive to reply to all communication and remedy any issues ASAP.

Excellent company, good products

I've always been very impressed with the service I've received from Vitasunn. The product I purchase is Emerita PRO-Gest, Natural Progesterone cream and it is excellent - I would highly recommend it. The quality of the cream is superb and I've never found it advertised anywhere else and wouldn't bother looking as Vitasunn have given me wonderful service. The product is amazingly well packaged. Not only is the tube sealed in a vacuum bag so it can't be squashed or leak but it also comes complete with its cardboard box and info leaflet and is also in a card envelope inside the jiffy bag! I love the product which is an added bonus as the cream I've previously used is not a patch on this one, so well done Vitasunn for stocking a product that I would rate 100%. Thank you.

Vitasunn convinced me

I hate buying over the internet. I hate the thought that I could be ripped off, messed about, misunderstood, and all the many other things that happen to people when they buy with a card over the net. So when I wanted to take up a recommendation that I try Melatonin as a way of getting to sleep on those occasional sleepless nights I looked at various companies before I settled on Vitasunn. The thing that swung it for me is that being in the UK is important to me as I don't want to be fiddling with dealing abroad, and, more importantly, I could pay by cheque and not have to hand over my card details and feel exposed to risk. They turned up trumps. Once the cheque cleared the melatonin arrived in the post and it's good stuff. Works a treat. There are a lot of dodgy companies out there and it's important to use care, but from my experience I'd happily recommend Vitasunn to anyone.

A trustful company

I have been using them for over two years and am happy with products and service. Friendly website and good packaging too. Delivery takes longer sometimes. Nevertheless would recommend as a good company to deal with.

I have been ordering from vitasunn for more than three years with virtually no problems. I have always been pleased with the products. I order the products my dr. recommends that also have kept me healthy. I take a lot of herbal supplements that Vitasunn offers at reasonable prices. I give them four stars and highly recommend them.

Takes money, zero customer service! No product! Mother in tears!

To anyone thinking of purchasing from Vitasunn because you're tempted by the prices - I say STEER WELL CLEAR!!! Run away faster than Usain Bolt on speed! I had ordered the following products using their auto-dispatch 'system':-

7-Keto
Panax Ginseng
Yohimbe
5-HTP
KAVA KAVA

The latter's in capitals because that is the product this review concerns. Not the quality of the product, I can't fault that, but because, this time, they have charged me for it and SINGULARLY FAILED TO DELIVER!!! If you don't know what Kava Kava is, it's an anti-anxiety supplement, from a South American plant. As you can probably tell from my username, I have Asperger's Syndrome, social anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia. On Monday, I was supposed to be travelling, by train, from Gerrards Cross (my parents' hometown) to Horsforth, Leeds, for my 95-year-old grandmother's funeral, without the calming and ant-anxiety effect of the KK, that is an impossibility! I have had my darling mother in tears because of Vitasunn's incompetence! This, obviously, makes me feel like ***, but there are going to be upwards of 100 people there, most of whom I won't know, and who won't ever have met me - and their first impression of me is going to be a screaming lunatic who requires locking up because I won't be able to cope!

Vitasunn's website boasts about their "unbeatable customer service" - well, I have sent them at least 6 emails, all of which have been ignored (and they've had upwards of a week to respond now) and, as for their 'help' line - they value their customers so much, that it's a permanent answerphone, leaving them free to ignore their customers! I have left at least the same number of messages on it as I have sent them emails (all with my mobile number (and I have my phone on me at all times) and they have not returned a single call! It takes a VERY great deal for me to be able to pick up the phone and make ANY kind of call but, when it's as important as this, I have to. I am thinking of suing them for the distress they have caused me - but, more important than that, my dear mother.

NEVER EVER EVER again will I buy ANYTHING from Vitasunn - they DO NOT care about their customers one iota. I am on disability benefits, and I had to go into my overdraft for the KK, but I didn't mind doing that because I knew how important this was.

I am still searching for another company selling Kava Kava, which takes PayPal and delivers to the UK. So far my search has proved fruitless. If anyone reading this knows, and can help me, then the email address in my profile is valid.

Vitasunn? VitaSCUM is more like it! I want them to compensate me - and my mother - for the distress their actions have caused - but they won't! If I was well enough, I would sue!

Run away from this company very fast indeed!

We at Vitasunn did everything humanly possible to satisfy Ms. Balfour and explain that we do not control the post!

She was issued a full refund, delivered TWO complete orders at no cost, was given lots of direct attention from our phone staff... All to no avail.

Ultimately she began leaving profane, screaming voice mails, and we were forced to blacklist her, (which we recommend to any other online merchants reading this).

We are very sensitive to the sufferers of Asperger's Syndrome, (as we have family who suffer from the condition), and we sincerely tried to provide service and communication for her. We wish her (& her mum) the best, but she was simply impossible to satisfy.

Please send us a test email or voice mail to find out just how quickly we respond!

Customer Service is Awesome!

Vitasunn is my favourite place to buy vitamin supplements. I have women's health issues that require progesterone cream and they carry the best, (Emerita).

The point is that Vitasunn was easily reached by freephone. A real person assisted me in placing my order and when I realised I had given them the wrong delivery address (After they already sent the parcel) they were quick to get me a replacement.

Vitasunn is the best place to buy melatonin in the UK. If you've ever tried to purchase melatonin for jet lag, you know how hard it is to get it.

They delivered my melatonin in just 5 days!
