When we had our wedding photos back from the photographer I knew there was a few I would love to enlarge to display on the wall, and thought canvas prints would be a nice alternative to photographs, so uploaded a few images to viva prints site, it then told me which sizes would be suitable for my pictures, I ended up ordering 4! They look fab displayed in our hallway, had loads of comments on them! Thanks!
I've used Viva-Print before and was more than happy with my previous canvas, so had no hesitation in using them again. However, after this experience, I certainly won't be using them again.
I ordered an A1 canvas print of my 2 young daughters and paid for next day delivery. When it finally arrived over a week later, the quality was shocking so I went to their website to find a number for them. It was here that I saw a message stating that there had been a problem with deliveries so a number of orders had been RE-dispatched - I can only assume my order was one of them, so where is my original canvas??
The canvas I had received was baggy and not stretched properly, there was a blob of glue on the back which showed through as a dirty mark from the front. Part of the canvas was bobbled, and my daughter had acquired an extra 4 fingers (her hand had been re-printed on the side of the canvas which of course can be clearly seen when it is hung on the wall). My other daughter has a mirror image of her knee of the side of the canvas which again, can obviously be seen when it is hung up.
No problem, I thought, these things happen and they clearly had rushed the order due to the original being lost. I was sure a simple phone call would sort it out. No such luck, 2 months later and I have STILL not had a reply to a single email or phone message (and I have left plenty). No one ever picks up the phone when I ring and there is no point leaving any more messages as they've already ignored plenty.
They're happy though as they've got my money, however they have lost a large amount of repeat custom, particularly as I've just sourced new printers for my business printing, and strangely enough, Viva Print did not make the short list!
Please do avoid at all costs - there are plenty of other companies who will provide the same goods for the same price. The photo I had printed was my favourite photo of my daughters and now every time I look at the new print (which I eventually had done elsewhere), all I can think about is how angry I am about a company that doesn't even have the decency to return emails or phone calls from their customers.
I use viva for canvas print and photo posters. I like the materials they use and I know they will always ship my orders out on time. This is important to me as I sell the prints on to my own customers. Viva handle all of the delivery to my customers in plain packaging which is great.
Not ordered from Viva before so was not 100% sure what I would receive. Thankfully my canvas print was perfect, exactly how I hoped it would be! Just Better!
I wanted to supply a very large super high resolution image for print so could not upload as the file was over 100MB. I e-mailed customer service to ask how I could order. They got back to me in 10 minutes and allowed me to FTP my image over.
I can't explain how great the quality of print is, I know that my image was great quality to begin with but it looks even better on canvas. The colours are so vivid they just pop. I love it.
viva produced a photo canvas for us. very happy with how it looks on the wall. quality is very good and the price was very good also. i think i will order more prints from viva as they offer a good service at an affordable price.
I placed an order with Viva Print but made a mistake with my print options. I had selected the wrong image for print. I contacted Viva Print to ask if I could supply a different image. They said I could. Good customer service. I was very pleased with print quality and have used again.
Absolutely dreadful company. If I could give them a negative star rating I would. Like many of the others on her that have left negative feedback. I paid for 'next day delivery' the canvas wasn't sent out till a day later even though I ordered well before the cut off time. I have called at least 5 times and left messages on their answer phone but no one ever calls you back. I have emailed them at least 10 times, but once again no one ever gets back to you. I paid for next day delivery as I need the canvas as a B'day present for some. But as this date has now past and I still don't have the item I paid for, it's no longer needed. I have now had to raise a case with Paypal to try and get my money back and will be contacting the OFT about this company.
I would advice anyone who orders from them to email or call first and see if you get a reply from this company. I get the feeling that the 3 previous reviews are all left by this company. Of course I have no proof, but funny how they seems to be able to contact this company but no one else can.
I would spend a bit extra and buy from somewhere else, then you won't be in same situation I am. .
