I'll spare the complete disaster that has been my experience with Walls and Floors...
Delivery was not made on the initial day, I was asked to call them (no call to say it was not coming - just a text saying "run out of time"), so I rang and was rudely told it will come the next day (having taken a day off work already), next day - no delivery, and what made this worse was speaking to them in the morning to check it was coming - which they said it was, and at the end of the day it was still on the desk in the office! Eventually delivered on the 3rd day and no response from them about the service.
Only interested in the new business and not repeat business - this company will not be around for long
Tiles in stock and arrived when requested. Good quality product at a great price. Reason lost a star is for the delivery charge bit too much for my liking, but apart from that would certainly use again.
Bought a box of 6 tiles for my kitchen as the price quoted was good. However unfortunately 1 box didn't arrive at all. A quick phone call and this was sorted, a new box was sent. Not a problem on their side, probably the courier, and quickly sorted.
However the reason for the 3/5 rating is because they refused a refund on another product I bought alongside this, that didn't turn up until many days later - even though I paid for Next Day Delivery so it should have come the same day as the tiles. I had to buy the product from elsewhere in the end, with a view to returning it for a refund to Wallsandfloors.co.uk - however to my surprise the lady declined my refund request outright "we dont offer refunds on accessories". Of course it cannot be their fault if a courier fails to deliver on time, however it is illegal to decline a refund (less the P&P costs) if requested within 7 working days under the Distance Selling (2000) Regulations. In short, they are acting illegally, so that's something to look out for. It isn't worth me taking further for the sake of a few quid , but it left a bad taste especially as the CS lady wasn't too friendly.
I have repeatedly rung and emailed wallsandfloors, and have tried to get some sense out of them via their online chat service. All to no avail. The phone is not answered or cut off, the online customer service is not available, and emails are either lost or ignored.
There's a recession on but some people don't need the business, apparently. I've taken mine to a company which does.
sample tiles arrived broken but were replaced quickly, service was fast and we got what we wanted. We will use them again for sure.
After many broken promises from one of the big shed tile places we cancelled our order and placed the order with wallsandfloors instead, who delivered on a Saturday and now the job is done. That's how it should work! Well done guys.
