very poor customer relation, service, lack of and miss leading information

Nothing is explained properly. I personally have had one surprise after another due to the lack of explanations. The car has been in the garage now since Wednesday and im not getting it back till Tuesday at the very earliest.
They make it look and sound like there all bells and whistles but its a lot of false advertising and miss leading information.
For example;
you can have a courtesy car but only if the works comes to more then 8hrs! And iv checked and not a lot of repairs come to more then 8hrs.
iv had a full gearbox replacement and that still didn't qualify.
Also I was told one total price buy WD and it turned out to be much more.
Also I was never told for parts to be released I had to pay up front first, what wasn't a problem with paying because I knew I had to pay a sum of the part, but again not explained well and was told last minute so had to rush around (whilst at work) to pay to get part realised.
Then there was a dispute of delivery so it then wasnt an till the following day it got payed for and now the part wont b sent to the garage till Monday because of all the messing about.
Then another surprise I was told I had to pick up the massive labour bill to get the car released when its finally ready and WD would me pay back, oh that's fine I just go to my money tree out back!!.
Quite frankly iv had it with WD and I will be taking it to an Ombisman.
In summary,
Its been a very stressful trying to deal with WD, Trying to get to work has been a complete nightmare. I'm having to pluck out over £800 just like that, to get the car fixed and realised.
On the phone to them all the response of my complaints was that there doing me a favour by cutting cost. Yeh that all well and good, but iv payed for this warranty service I do expect some sort of service quality !
What I'm getting at if right from the start they would of told me what difficulties are I might face etc.
I could of been more ready for it all to get my transport to work back quicker, cut extra costs I'm now facing
and on the a lot less stressful

Broke Direct Debit Scheme Guidelines

I cancelled my direct debit with my bank (the renewal wasn't competitive) but a few days after renewal a new direct debit was set up and £136 was taken out of my account !! I rang them up and complained and they said that they could only refund by cheque which a week later I still haven't receive. This taints what has otherwise been a satisfactory experience of Warranty Direct during the last 3 years.

Very professional service on par with the servce recieved from my Bentley dealer

I have had my Bentley GTC covered by Warrenty Direct for 3 years since the Bentley Warrenty expirered.

I purchased the best cover available which is super car Warrenty given we are dealing with a 6litre, Twin turbo charged 550 bhp 200 mph beast of a car. The engine alone is valued at 30k.

This year I developed a suspension fault then upon examination some engine issues -y Bentley dealer liaised with Simon in claims and within 3 weeks a massive claim was authotisesd and payment was made direct to the dealer. Being blunt the size of this claim could buy an average family car and at no stage did I get the feeling that Warrenty direct we're looking for get out clauses. Quite the opposite actually. Methodical and professional.

In line with the policy I had to make a 40 percent contribuotion to parts which is nothing when all of the dealers labor costs are coveted

My only suggestion would be that Warrenty direct request all the documentation needed in the first call and advise anyone else with a high end car under cover to keep service invoices etc

All in all great service. Very happy. No complaints

Warranties certainly made easy!!

I purchased my warranty in Feb 2013, after calling Warranty Direct following the expiry of my manufacturers warranty. The sale was concise and easy to follow. No issues...

I recently claimed for a faulty turbocharger and WD covered it and settled the bill with me really quickly. I paid my £50 excess and that was it! Couldn't ask for anything more. I highly recomend them and will have no reservations renewing my policy in Feb.

Fantastic company to deal with in my experience

A really worthwhile policy, covered my vehicle with an ExtraCare policy and it paid out when the garage found a problem with my drive chain during a service. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful, I would recommend!

THE MOST RIP OFF COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!!!

After speaking to a polite salesman that rang me I accepted the join warranty direct . Paying. £58 pounds a month for the service. I took my car in the garage 6 months later and it came back with a few problems 5 to be exact. But when the garage rang warranty direct they rejected every single claim which left me for a bill of over £4000. The claims varied from electrical to engine problems yet all claims got rejected. When I rang up to see why they just kept saying its in the handbook we don't cover them. I WARM YOU PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE JOINING THIS COMPANY.

repairs didn't last

used this company to fix and insure my Admiral fridge freezer, same fault with the replaced part after 10 months, was told to contact the manufacturer... who would replace the part again but would charge a hefty fee for fitting! not worth it
