Ordering was painless and the price exceptionally good. I ordered in (what I thought was) good time for my Son's 21st. Here I am 5 days after my Son's birthday and no watch. The problem was with the delivery system or lack of system. W2U use Amazon logistics and this is where it majorly fell on its face. There is no way to track your parcel - in 2013 that is an archaic service. Despite several long calls by both W2U and myself, we got absolutely nowhere. Amazon - you should be ashamed. They had no idea where the watch was or when (read 'if') it would be delivered. The issue was compounded by those damn useless offshore call centres. Polite but clueless. I was calmly advised to call W2U back and get a refund then reorder! My temptation to explode & swear was pretty high following this suggestion. I did phone W2U to get a refund but was told I had to firstly reject the order when it arrived and then wait for it to be returned to Amazon! So, to get a refund I had to receive it first!!!! I wanted a refund because I had NOT received it. Just ludicrous customer service and illogical advice. Judging by the current delivery times it would be weeks before I got my money back. When I asked after 8 days where my watch was I was told that it was sent ‘standard delivery’ and basically like it or lump it. I requested next day delivery at point of sale, but it was not available ( no reason given to why). A complete shambles from beginning to, well god knows where the end is. Watches2U are poorly managed outfit with no real control over their stock or delivery. All their stock is held and managed by Amazon – and badly at that. If your motivator is price over service then be my guest; I’d rather pay the extra few £s and go elsewhere.
