I bought a cheap £45 for the spare room and it arrived late which, in fairness, was not WeAreBeds.com's fault. The couriers (City Link) had the package on time but delivered it very late. I expected it daytime Wed only for it to be pushed back to evening (between 5:30 & 7:30PM). It didn't show up then either and finally arrived at 6PM on Thursday.
Although not their fault, wearebeds.com could do better and give customers the tracking number as soon as they have it which would help avoid a lot if frustration associated with waiting in a ready to answer the door state.
On the plus side, customer service was great. Very helpful and answering swiftly by both phone and email. The cheap pine bed is a cheap bed but for the price much better quality than expected. Construction was ikea-style and easy enough to do on my own.
Ordered this h/board for my g/daughter. Wearebeds website very easy to use. Offered free next day delivery and v. good price. Courier emailed delivery details and h/board arrived on time. Unfortunately the packaging was filthy and damaged and the H/board had minor damage (small dents). Probably would not have accepted it but my neighbour had signed for it in my absence, my g/daughter was excited to get it and the dents don't show when it's on the bed!

Online forms asking to be called by a member of the team however this didn't happen.
Rang and spoke to dale and was assured bed would be delivered on Friday, didn't receive a tracking number so had to call city link to get one,
Friday afternoon arrived delivery finally came
And half of bed missing , spoke to dale again who found out other half of bed was in Coventry, said he would try and get bed up to me by Saturday morning. Say and waited and heard nothing called dale back who promised to call me with news. Once again didn't hear anything,
Called city link Saturday morning to be told it was in Durham however wasn't going on til Monday as no one knew to load it on the van ! Had to go and pick the bed up as my 18month year old had nothing to sleep on previous night and it wasn't happening again.
Bed in itself is ok, however not very sturdy.
I feel very let down by the customer service process, the item

Ordered bed on line , did not receive the delivery as expected however I contacted the company via email within 5 minutes I received a email from Michael with an apology as there was a problem with stock at the depot and could not delivery the bed ordered, I was given the option of either a full refund or chose another bed, I chose another bed and this was delivered the following day the issue was dealt with professionally and quickly.
I ordered metal bed frame with copper finish (Megan) from "We are beds". I received damaged bed (also package was previously open) and it took me string of emails to reach agreement that I need either replacement or refund (at first the "We are beds" did not want to agree on replacement or refund claiming that I did accept the bed when it arrived by signing delivery form as "accepted" - despite informing them about damage within 24h after delivery- documented with pictures). My claim was that as internet buyer I have a right refuse the item and to ask for refund even if the bed was not damaged and that is up to 7 days after delivery - which is stipulated by the law "Sales of Goods Act"). Replacement bed arrived - more damaged than previous one, paint chipped at many places and couple of badly patched places as well!). In the end I had to arrange refund as I did not believe I would be 3rd time lucky! After a week and no money back I had to chase it again and fortunately all is sorted now. the only positive point was decent email communication with one of customer service guys.
Excellent service, product as described and inexpensive. I would use this company again.
Short of money, but i needed a bed base for my sons house. The bed base was better than i thought i would get for the money, it was delivered when they said it would be.
It was easy to assemble, and very sturdy .
Its a basic design , no frills, but it does the job very well.
I m so happy about my bought bed with tent from that company. Delivery so quick,bed good quality, tent fabric very good quality too. My son is age 7 and he loves this bed. I will recommend this bed to friend as well. Very good item for that price really. Regards
Whilst the product I received was as ordered the delivery driver was extremely rude and unhelpful. Perhaps need to be more picky about delivery services. Aside from that the product was as described and delivered on the day stated, although I never received a confirmation email.
If you want a bed that is good quality at a brilliant price and want it now - then this is the place to buy it. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone

I can't recommend wearebeds.com highly enough - I ordered the single Marseilles bed on Monday night (so delivery estimated for Wednesday). Unfortunately the delivery men missed me, but a after a quick email to Michael at wearebeds, (free) delivery was rescheduled for the following day. Michael was extremely helpful & thorough - when I called to request an invoice it was sent over immediately and my emails were responded to very quickly.
Brilliant service and the bed is perfect. Just what our teenage daughter wanted. It was really easy to put together and looks great in the vintage style bedroom. We would definitely recommend We Are Beds.
Realised when ordered the bed and mattress there was a21 day delivery, not a problem, but when I had to phone and ask where my goods were even after the 21 days, started to wonder if all the negative reviews I read and had ignored were in fact true.
Called and spoke to a very nice man who did admit that they had failed to schedule my delivery, their mistake, but when it came to rescheduling it at a time which suited us, he couldn't accommodate, something about they only deliver once a month to Scotland. Did eventually agree a delivery date using a contracted delivery service.
Got the text to give me the expected delivery time of between 7.00am and 10.30am, however the delivery time passed, no phone call, text, nothing. Had to call the delivery company at 11.00am, to be told that my goods were on it's way and not to worry. 3.00pm got a phone call to say the delivery man hadn't turned up and my delivery wasn't coming after all. Why it had taken until 3.00pm to relay this message I will never know? Wasted day sitting in waiting.
Was delivered the following day within the expected time frame, I was impressed, however the delivery driver was completely unhelpful, and expected me to unload my bed and mattress off the truck myself. When I wanted to check the contents of the package which was burst open, he moaned, but when I told him my house was 200 yards up the road, he nearly had a fit, grabbed the mattress, and carried it grumping and moaning the whole way. When I caught him up with my car which had the bed frame in the boot, he starting moaning angrily that he didn't know where my house was, so I responded that he hadn't waited around long enough to hear before storming off.
Had to ask him to carry the things into my house for me, which he did, but dumped everything down and left without my signing for the delivery. Rude, and unpleasant man.
The positive from this is the bed is assembled, all the parts were there, and is really nice. My daughter is delighted, just a pity we had to wait so long for it, and that the delivery process was a bit of a farce.
The products are good, but they need to address the delivery companies they use, as is letting them down badly.
I ordered a bed on Monday which as promised was delivered Tuesday.
I built the bed and unfortunately a couple of wooden slats were missing. This did not stop me from sleeping in the bed.
I emailed customer service this morning (weds) and had a reply back within ten minutes with an apology saying that the missing slats would be shipped today and I should receive them tomorrow.

Purchased the bed. HAD to pay £30.00 for NEXT DAY delivery because of our postcode. We are a few miles from the CITY OF INVERNESS. Email received now to say out of stock. Choose another! Organised to be off work to receive the bed. Will be back at work even if we did find similar product.
Ordered a bed and mattress on 21 day delivery. After hearing nothing from wearebeds.com for 20 days I decided to ask them when delivery would be. They then informed me that there was a delay with the order and would be another 2 weeks! After this 2 week period had gone they were still no closer to delivering my bed and mattress and I had waited a further 2 weeks for delivery. In fairness wearebeds.com did offer a faster delivery than this but wouldn't guarantee the products would be in a good condition. I personally wouldn't use them again and would advise anyone to order well in advance as it seems from other reviews its not a one off case. However wearebeds.com were very quick to respond to all my emails.
I wanted to order on Wednesday and have it delivered the folowing Tuesday - the item was free next day delivery. I tried to phone twice to ask if I could delay delivery but nobody picked up so I waited till the end of business on Friday to make sure the order would be delivered on my day of choice.
Delivery was on time, item was easy to assemble and in line with my expectation. The Palermo guest bed (white) was easy to assemble and seems reasonably comfortable.
Couldn't be happier although We Are Beds should consider adding a "notes" section to the checkout where you can enter instructions for delaying delivery, on this occassion next day wasn't quite what I wanted.
I wont waste any more time with this company. I ordered a bed on a 10 working days delivery after being told it was in stock and would be delivered within the 10 working days, after numinous calls 8 working days later I was informed they were unable to deliver within the promised timescale and could not say it i9t would arrive the fol;lowing week and so I had not choice but to cancel the order, all in all a total waste of time. I did find Michael was apologetic and helpful, so their one saving grace.
I ordered an Edwardian black and brass bed + mattress on-line, expecting delivery within the 3 weeks specified.
Unfortunately, we were advised the day before delivery (and a day taken off work to receive it) that the supplier had provided the wrong colour bed which caused a further 3 weeks delay in delivery while a replacement was ordered.
The price we paid was excellent and customer service was expertly provided by Michael who kept me informed as the reorder was being processed.
I everntually took delivery of my order and I cannot fault the quality of the items. WeAreBeds have since refunded some of the cost back to me for the inconvenience caused.
Not a smooth transaction (considering this was my first dealings with them so was a little anxious anyway) but an excellent outcome.
Please don't let my experience put you off. It's not what goes wrong, it's how it's sorted and on that front I would give WeAreBeds 5 Stars.
I ordered this bed on line but made a mistake in the order. I phoned to We Are Beds and spoke to a young man who took endless trouble to correct my mistake.
The bed and matress were delivered in short time and at the time that I was notified.

Ordered a bed and mattress. Website and emails all emphasised delivery would be together. Bed was on a 21 day delivery. Mattress only was delivered after 3 days! ... But damaged. A photograph was sent and an immediate replacement agreed .... Good service. Then we waited...eventually 38 days after the first order they called to say they were delivering a mattress - no bed ! Had to call head office and the delivery men turned up with a bed. We knew it was wrong as it had the wrong name on the boxes but they insisted it was right. When opened it was the wrong thing. So had to be collected ! after many phone calls , three mornings off work and many weeks after the order was placed we are now just waiting for a refund and have ordered a bed from elsewhere. A painful experience.
The only thing that went wrong was the delivery date. Tried phoning to no avail emailed & rearranged for following day but still delivered on original day. Luckily no issues with bed & having great nights sleep!
The first bed I ordered was faulty. I dealt with Michael in customer services who was very efficient and arranged for the faulty bed to be collected from me and refunded the money to my card. I ordered a different bed from the same company, received this on the day they said I would and it is perfect. I would not hesitate to use this company again.
They hadnt my bed in stock so they got in touch with me within a couple of hours giving me the option of my money back or to choose similar bed.I ordered a different bed and within 24 hours my bed arrived.Excellent value for money. Careful considerate delivery man.Would recommend them for certain
When I asked ‘We are Beds’ what they wanted me to write in my review they said be honest. So this is my experience. I bought a bedframe from them because they offered the cheapest price I could find. When I gave them my details over the telephone, they asked me to give them the answer to my on-line bank security questions as well as my card details in order to process the payment. The courier they use doesn’t offer half day slots or provide telephone confirmation of when the item will arrive. So you will have to wait in all day. The package I received had been opened and resealed and the bed I got was damaged. I immediately notified ‘We are Beds’ and was asked to send photos which I did. The headboard and footboard were packed together and appeared to have either been at the bottom of a large pile of beds or dropped. I spent 3 days sleeping on a mattress on the floor waiting for a replacement. I took another day off work and the new bed arrived which was perfect. But the courier who delivered it didn’t take the damaged bed away. I was told that would be arranged for another day. When that day arrived, I waited in all morning only to discover it would be collected that afternoon. So I agreed that when I left for work I would leave the bed outside the front door for collection. The courier driver went to the wrong address and the bed was still there when I returned home. I was given a new date for collection. This time the courier turned up a day early when no one was in. Two and a half weeks after my original order, I still have 2 beds and am expected to take a week off work in order to resolve this matter. Communication is good, the quality of the original item I received was poor. And their courier service is appalling
The service was ok but they were hard to speak with and as we did not have a definite delivery address and although they were advised they were still complications when and where to be delivered
As a landlord, I need beds which are not of flimsy quality & will stand up to heavy wear & tear. I particularly don't like beds which need an extra leg underneath, as in my experience these get knocked about, then break. The frame beds from We Are Beds are sufficiently strongly built not to require the extra leg. I am confident that all the beds I've bought from We Are Beds appear to fit the bill, & have returned to them several times for repeat orders.
Free next day delivery is very convenient too!
Buying was easy and getting the shipping split was very simple. Michael who i delt with was always very quick to get back to me and was very helpfull. It also helps that my little boy loves his new bed. Would have no problem recommending this company to family and friends.
